By Shaun Best-Rajah.Com Reporter
Hello and Happy New Year to one and all once again. A Big Thank You goes out to all of you that voted in the Sunday Night Heat Awards. The results will be posted a little later on but for now let's get to the action. Joining Todd Grisham on commentary this week is Diva Ivory and the ring announcer is Justin Roberts. There is no New Year's Pyro as we go straight to the action beginning this week with……………………………………….
Trish Stratus vs Victoria
Trish gets some heat from the crowd upon her entrance (not from me though) but she simply laps it up by smiling and as she stands in the ring Grisham can't believe Ivory is here and she responds by saying it's fatal attraction and she loves the action on Sunday Night Heat and you can't take her away from it. Grisham then announces that Ric Flair is in the house tonight and personal opinions aside that's an interesting booking for the show. Anyway back to the action and Victoria enters to a big pop from me and the crowd as Trish looks on. There's no dance on the entrance ramp as instead Victoria leaps into the ring takes off her cap and begins to tease slowly removing her jacket and that's when Trish comes from behind and punches Victoria in the back. The bell then rings and Trish pulls the coat over Victoria and viciously punches away at the midsection before Victoria backs up and both Divas stare one another down before Victoria takes off and throws her ring jacket at Trish and Trish lunges forward grabbing the hair of Victoria and both Divas fall to the canvas where a little catfight ensues which ebbs back and to as both Divas yank at one another's hair. Both Divas eventually get back to their feet and the referee steps in to stop Victoria yanking at Trish's hair. Trish and Victoria exchange punches, Victoria gets the upper hand from this goes for a clothesline whoa Trish dodges ala The Matrix and is in a bridge position so Victoria simply crashes on top of Trish hooks the leg and covers 1-2-kickout by Trish. I thought that was it then. Victoria slams down Trish, and hits the shaky shaky moonsault, goes for another cover and Trish kicks out again. Victoria lands a punch, goes for an Irish whip, Trish reverses, charges but eats an elbow off Victoria. Victoria climbs to the second rope, and Trish attempts the Stratusfear but Victoria hooks Trish's legs, pulls her up, Trish grabs Victoria's head and it looks like they're going to make out seriously for a split second anyway but both Divas end up exchanging punches whilst straddling the top turnbuckle and both eventually crash down to the outside. The referee begins to count out both women but Victoria gets up first and tries to get back inside but Trish gets up grabs Victoria's leg and pulls her back outside onto the floor. Trish places a foot onto Victoria's back and takes a bow to channel some heat from the crowd before throwing Victoria back inside. Trish rolls in picks Victoria up and throws her down by the hair. Trish gets a nearfall and slaps on a full nelson, Victoria refuses to quit and she eventually elbows and shakes free and both Divas favour their heads after they just clashed. Victoria headbutts Trish and a high knee sends Trish down, Victoria covers but only gets a two. Victoria hits more punches, Irish whips Trish who rebounds and Victoria sets up for the Spider's Web but Trish counters into a Hurricanrana however when Trish follows up Victoria manages to hotshot her into the top rope. Trish staggers around, Victoria lands a kick to the midsection and sets up for the Widow's Peak. Trish counters into a northern lights suplex but Victoria gets out at two. Trish gets into a crouching position as Victoria gets up and Trish blasts her with a devastating straight Chick Kick and she covers again and this time gets the duke.1-2-3. Trsih is looking good and is ready for Lita at New Year's Revolution. Good opener this week. Here is Your Winner: TRISH STRATUS.
Still to come William Regal vs Tyson Tomko.
Up Next Lita vs Molly Holly from Raw.
Chris Jericho Raw Promo Airs.
Lita Retains Women's Title on Raw against Molly Holly via a DDT and then runs from Gene Snitsky who wants to play. Eric Bischoff informs Snitsky that he's going to have fun at New Year's Revolution when he faces Kane. Snitsky looks shocked/pissed. Kane vs Snitsky graphic is shown for New Year's Revolution. I predict Kane will return and make friends with Snitsky and form a tag team. Trish vs Lita graphic is also shown for Women's Title.

Tyson Tomko vs William Regal
Tomko gets a negative response while Regal gets the opposite and Ivory announces that it will be William Regal & Eugene vs Christian & Tyson Tomko for the World Tag Team Titles at New Year's Revolution. Should be a good match and I predict Christian's team will emerge as victors from that one but let's see who will emerge victorious from this match and gain a possible psychological edge as the bell rings and we're underway. Tomko backs Regal into the corner so Regal hooks his legs round Tomko's leg resulting in Tomko unable to back off when the referee forces them to break. Tomko pleads innocent with the referee as Regal tells him otherwise and then looks on at the crowd and shrugs and smirks. Seeing this, Tomko punches Regal and shoves him into a corner where he chokes him then throws a punch, Regal ducks and a Regal uppercut makes Tomko slump in the corner. Lockup and Tomko grabs an arm, winds it up, Regal rolls forward but is unable to reverse Tomko's grip as he falls to the canvas and Tomko falls on top and gets a nearfall while Regal is stuck in the armbar. Regal flips up still unable to reverse the hold as Tomko wrings the arm and that throws Regal back to the canvas. Tomko tries another cover to no avail and Regal again gets up trying to break free and he eventually rolls forward and armdrags Tomko down but Tomko rolls into a hammerlock and still has ahold of Regal who gets up and is backed into a corner. Tomko breaks and then drives his head into the midsection of Regal twice landing punches and kicks in between. Tomko slaps his chest ala Christian to boos from the crowd and he stays on the attack by picking up Regal and powerslamming him down. Tomko gets another nearfall grabs Regal by the head and throws him across the ring like a ragdoll. Tomko picks up Regal by the arm, punches him back down and after another nearfall applies a chokehold on the mat. Regal gets up punches free, Tomko with a knee to the gut comes off the ropes and walks into a Regal elbow. Regal off the ropes knocks Tomko down with a shoulderblock and he too covers for a nearfall. Regal hits another shoulder tackle off the ropes with another nearfall then punches Tomko down and backelbows him down before trying a series of covers one after another but Tomko won't stay down. Regal picks him up delivers a knee to the head, Tomko in the corner, Regal mounts Tomko and begins a 10 punch assault as Christian scurries down to the ring and onto the apron. Regal sees this and after the eighth punch connects Regal jumps down and knocks Captain Charisma off the apron but he turns round and is greeted by a big boot from Tomko knocking him down. Tomko staggers around a little before covering Regal and getting the three count.1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: TYSON TOMKO. Post Match Christian enters to congratulate Tomko and celebrate. I'll definitely be ordering my Captain Charisma T-Shirt as it looks pretty good. Will You?
Still to Come Ric Flair vs Val Venis.
Up Next Edge vs Eugene in Beat The Clock from Raw.
Raw Promo Airs.
Edge defeats Eugene in Beat The Clock on Raw via submission but he doesn't Beat The Clock.
Don't Try This At Home.

Robert Conway vs The Hurricane
The Quebecer enters alone to boos, they all wanted Sylvain (LOL) and he proceeds to proudly wave the Quebec flag in the middle of the ring before the lights go out and The Hurricane's music plays and the boos turn to cheers as the resident superhero comes out he too alone to make this one a fair fight. Bell rings as Conway tells a fan to shut up and both lockup, to a big USA chant. Conway scores with a go-behind which leads to a Hurricane reversal but Conway regains the upper hand by working an armwringer. Hurricane rolls forward flips up, gets the reversal and cranks up the pressure as Robert backs Hurricane into the ropes. Hurricane off the ropes rolls under a jumping Conway, Hurricane throws Conway into ropes, Conway steps over Hurricane before running into a posing Hurricane so he puts the brakes on and stares as Hurricane cheekily responds "Wassupwidat". An incensed Conway charges, Hurricane ducks a swing attempt and takes him down with a Hurricanrana. Conway retreats outside with his back to Hurricane who attempts to vault over the top rope onto him but he turns and sees him coming and gets out of the way as Hurricane comes crashing down outside. Conway tells the crowd he was using his head as he throws Hurricane back in. Conway punches and stomps away at The Hurricane before making him taste flag in the corner. Hurricane retreats to another corner and tries to fight back by slapping Conway's chest but Conway lands kicks to the midsection, comes off the ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Conway covers for a couple of nearfalls and shows frustration at not being able to put Hurricane away as he picks him up by the head and slowly cranks back on the neck but as the crowd start to get behind him Hurricane slowly turns round and tries to punch his way free. However, Conway kicks him and throws him into the ropes. Hurricane comes back with a sunset flip attempt which Conway kicks out of and then a rollup attempt has the same results and both combatants proceed to exchange punches with Hurricane eventually winning out and gaining the upper hand as he unloads and takes Conway down with a clothesline. Conway bounces off the ropes and runs straight into a leg lariat by Hurricane but Conway reverses another throw to the ropes and tries a hiptoss but Hurricane counters this and connects with the Underdog as he signals to the crowd that he's going up top. Hurricane climbs to the top rope and comes off with a cross body onto Conway 1-2-no Conway finds a way to kick out. Hurricane gets Conway up, Conway rakes the face of Hurricane, Irish whip, Conway charges, eats an elbow by Hurricane, Hurricane charges, Conway grabs him executes a jawbreaker and he covers 1-2 no this time Hurricane kicks out at the last second. Must be the Hurri-Powers. Conway picks up Hurricane attempting the au revoir but Hurricane blocks by kicking at the bottom rope so Conway clubs him in the back, sets him up again for the one man au revoir, Hurricane slips behind and goes for the Eye of The Hurricane but Conway blocks it by punching Hurricane in the back, turning him round and Irish whipping him to the corner. Hurricane leaps up and onto a charging Conway who turns and goes forward with Hurricane in his grasp attempting a powerslam perhaps but Hurricane slips behind and as he comes down executes the Eye of The Hurricane just like that and he covers and gets the three count and victory. Good back and forth match, very entertaining with a good finish. Here is Your Winner: THE HURRICANE.
Still to Come Ric Flair vs Val Venis.
Up Next Triple H had to beat the clock in under 3 minutes on Raw Last Monday to go into the Elimination Chamber last at New Year's Revolution.

Eric Bischoff drops the bombshell that the Special Guest Referee for the chamber match will be Shawn Michaels. HBK enters in referee gear and plays to the crowd as all the competitors in the ring look on as it doesn't sit well with anybody. The Elimination Chamber graphic is shown for New Year's Revolution.

Val Venis vs Ric Flair
Hellllooooooo Ladies it's Main Event time now and Val comes out to a nice pop and does his usual schtick along with the towel in the corner and he looks pretty confident. Flair gets a big pop too from the crowd and laps it up and even the referee holds the rope up for him and Val looks on too with a look of admiration on his face. The Flair signs are all around as the bell rings to get this one underway. Flair circles round Val and from the lockup, Val applies a side headlock. Flair throws him into the ropes, Val takes Flair down with a shoulderblock and smiles at Flair who responds with a Whoo to wipe the smile off the face of The Big Valbowski. Another lockup, Flair with a side headlock is followed by a go-behind and a single leg takedown is then reversed by Val who traps Flair in a hammerlock and then an armbar. Flair armdrags Val who responds by doing the same and he keeps hold of Flair who manages to break Val's hold by draping a foot along the bottom rope. Val backs off as Flair struts around the ring and Val is getting a little intimidated now as he locks up again with Flair. Flair with another side headlock off the ropes takes down Venis with a shoulderblock, comes off the ropes again, steps over Val, then Val leapfrogs Flair and Flair takes the custom Flair bump (backbodydrop) and Val urges him to come on. Flair gets up and Val slams him down and Flair backs outside drawing Val to the floor. Val comes out and chases Flair to the inside where Flair again feigns mercy and reels in Val before dropping to his knees and poking Val in the eyes. Val goes to the corner, Flair follows and unleashes a few stinging chops to the midsection along with a punch. Val chops back but Flair punches Val down in another corner, snapmares him to the canvas and drops down with a kneedrop and lets out another Whoo. Flair picks up Val only to chop him back down and Flair struts around again and the crowd simply eat it up. Val is chopped down again as Flair goes into Whoo mode. Flair comes off the ropes and winds up for a punch which Venis blocks and tries his own, Flair
shrugs them off takes him to a corner, Irish whips and charges but Val smashes him with an elbow and lands chops of his own. Val Irish whips Flair hits another backbodydrop and takes Flair down with two clotheslines followed by a neckbreaker. Val covers but Flair kicks out unsurprisingly at two. Flair cowers to the corner, no sells a Venis kick to the gut and Val mounts Flair lands a series of punches hits another Irish whip and follows in by hitting Flair with a clothesline in the corner. Val hits a series of quick clotheslines in the corner lands another kick and fires himself up as Flair staggers around and does the classic Flair fall as he drops face first to the canvas as Val shrugs his shoulders. Val whips Flair to the corner again lands yet another clothesline and mounts Flair again looking for the same success he had earlier. Val scores with a 10 punch assault and Flair falls face first again but this time into the knee of Venis who collapses to the ground in agony. As Val gets back up Flair charges into the knee putting Val down again drags him to the centre of the ring does his dancing round routine before slapping on the Figure Four Leglock and cinching it in. Val writhes around in agony and manages to avoid getting pinned but the pain overcomes him and with nowhere to go he taps out. Here is Your Winner via Submission: RIC FLAIR.
Grisham thanks us for watching. End of Show. I'll be back later on with the Results of the Sunday Night Heat Awards. Laters. Shaun.
