Justin Roberts was the ring announcer for the night. First he announced that there
was a live feed coming in from the WWE Studios in Connecticut and on the
screens showed Vince McMahon. He thanked the crowd for there support and
talked about his Irish heritage and finished with a few words in Irish.
First Match-
Cruiserweight Championship Match
Billy Kidman vs. Paul London ©
- Kidman went for the shooting star press during the match but missed as
London moved out of the way.
Winner: Paul London
Carlito w/ Matt Morgan vs. The Big Show
-Interference by Morgan during the match
Winner: The Big Show
Chavo Guerrero vs. Funaki
Winner: Funaki
Heidenreich vs. Orlando Jordan
-Orlando came out wearing a yellow hard-hat and told Heidenreich not to
mess up his hair.
Winner: Heidenreich
Tag Team Championship Match
MNM © vs. Hardcore Holly and Booker T
Winners: MNM
Next Torrie Wilson came out throwing t-shirts out to the crowd and only had one
left to throw out to the crowd....the one she was wearing. Just as she was
taking the t-shirt off, MNM's music hits and out comes Melina saying that
Torrie is not the lady that she is. They continued to argue until Torrie
attacked Melina leaving her laying in the ring.
Theodore Long came to the ring to address the audience and thanked them for their
support and started talking about the matches that were left to come: WWE
Championship match: JBL vs. Kurt Angle vs. John Cena with Stone Cold making
his first ever trip to Ireland as the special guest enforcer. Also a Wrestlemania
rematch, Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie.
Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero
Winner: Rey Mysterio
-After the match Eddie attack Rey from behind, Rey then followed Eddie
up the ramp with a steel chair and hit Eddie with it.
Matt Morgan vs. Mark Jindrak
-Morgan was talking on the mic, stuttering as usual. Also the mic had a
vocal effect on it making Morgan’s voice sound squeaky. Jindrak was laughing
at this and started mocking Morgan on the mic.
Winner: Matt Morgan
Main Event
WWE Championship match
JBL vs. Kurt Angle vs. John Cena © with Stone Cold Steve Austin as special
guest enforcer.
-JBL came out first and taunt the crowd saying that ‘Ireland was Britain’
s bitch’ etc.
Angle entered seconded with the usual ‘You Suck’ sing-a-long.
Cena came out with a huge pop from the crowd.
During the match Austin stunnered Kurt Angle
Winner: John Cena
At the end Cena and Austin celebrated with beer, as the Austin chants echoed
around the arena. Austin then Stunnered Cena and picked him back up again
and handed him more beers and the two continued celebrating in the ring.
Austin then got on the mic talking about it being his first time in Ireland
and saying that he was gonna go and drink some Guinness after the show.
He also thanked the crowd and handed the mic over to Cena before leaving
the ring. Cena then asked for Austin to get back into the ring. He said
he wanted Austin to hear the 20,000+ fans in the arena. They celebrated
yet again with more beer. The end celebration latest about 20 minutes.

Outdoor event, park is 95% full a few free seats here and there.
Show begins with Justin Roberts coming to the ring and directing us to look
at the giant screens located around the ring for a live (yeah right!)
message. Vince appears on the tiantron and thanks us e.t.c plays the usual
cards such as McMahon legacy came from Ireland fiishes with Erin Go Bragh!
MATCH 1 - BILLY KIDMAN V PAUL LONDON
First out is Billy Kidman to a subdued reaction, makes his way to the ring
shouting at crowd generating heel heat. Paul London follows him to a quiet
reaction also, I was surprised he is such a good wrestler. Summersaulted off
each of the four corners to a nice pop. Nice match London pulled off some
nice high flying moves he is very energetic. London gets the victory. Good
match pity the crowd were a bit dead.
MATCH 2 CARLITO WITH MATT MORGAN V BIG SHOW
Carlito comes out to boos although I was cheering him, Big show comes out to
a massive Pop he is huge! Match is what you would expect Carlito being
totally overpowered by the big show who stands on him for about 5 seconds.
Giant chop to Carlito and crowd chants "one more time" so Big show delivers.
Carlito gains a bit of offensive after Matt Morgan pulls top rope sending
Big show outside. Big Show regains advantage and goes for chokeslam, Morgan
again interupts but Carlito is flung into Morgan sending him off apron and
Big Show delivers chokeslam for the win. Slow match but crowd didnt care.
Show very much over.
MATCH 3 CHAVO GUERRERO V FUNAKI
Chavo first out to large boos. I love the Guerreros. Funaki follows and who
wants to see the Smackdown No1 announcer? Not me. I love the crusierweights
but I dont rate him at all. Poor enough match mainly due to to Funaki he
seemed to miss a number of spots but Chavo looks impressive. Funaki wins to
plaese the crowd of course, children love him I dont.
MATCH 4 HEINDENREICH V ORLANDO JORDAN
terrible match, Heidy just cant wrestle folks. Took about ten minutes from
his musci to OJs due to him reading a disaster piece and calling for
friends. Heidy is way over by the way the over by the way the young ones
love him and even I am getting into his stupid march. Orlando comes out and
says something stupid on the microphone telling people not to call him
Buckweed to which a buckweed chant starts. Slow match no memorable spots
Jordan wins with feet on the ropes. Heidy isnt finsihed yet and continues
searching the arena for a friend after another disaster piece. I swear
another ten minutes spent here from the mathc over until he lfet. His music
played 3 times. Eventually brings three children into the ring along with a
tricolour(big pop) and a builders hat?? they do the march and he leaves to a
great ovation. Why by the way?
MATCH 5 HARDCORE HOLLY AND BOOKER T v MnM with Melina.
MNM out first to alot of heat melina gets a few cheers though. Holly is out
next to a MASSIVE cheer. next..CAN YOU DIG IT ...SUCKA! I was expecting Haas
but for entertainment purposes much better replacement. NItro and Mercury
pose on the turnbuckles with belts which are then stolen by the faces who
pose on the turnbuckles indicating they will win them tonigh. (im gonna put
my money on MnM) this gains a booker chant followed by a HUGE Holly chant on
my side of the arena. Holly acknowledges the fans on our side which gets
another "HOLLY" chant. MnM keep rolling out of the ring and shouting at
crowd takes fives minutes for match to start. Holly and Booker are really
enjoying themselves big cheesy grins throughout. Hollys moves looks really
strong. When he clotheslines you, you feel it! Melina tries to distract
Holly by lying on the turnbuckle but gets a spanking for her trouble. Mnm
sneak victory by cheating. They hold onto titles? SHOCK HORROR!Good match
Holly and Boker way over especially Holly.
Teddy Long is next out he announces Guerrero v Mysterio and main event to
huge cheers. The brings out Torrie who starts throwing t shirts to
crowd.Interupted by the lovely Melina and they argue until a catfight
ensues. Torries gets upper ahdn before peeling off her own tshirt to the
delight of the crowd.
MATCH 6 EDDIE GUERRERO V REY MYSTERIO
Eddie arrives to a mixed reaction Im cheering for him anyway. Mysterio is
next he is tiny, Guerrero has some muscles on him. Crowd surprisingly dead
for this match, Slower than i expected. Rey misses two 619s and Ediie goes
for frogsplash dont know if he connected due t o ringside people standing
up. Eddie uses chair on Rey on the outside. Rey finnaly gets the 619 and
scores the victory. They brawl all the way to the back.
MATCH 7 MATT MORGAN V MARK JINDRAK
Way to kill the crowd WWE. I went to the toilet on this one on the way out
Morgan started stuttering and they turned the microphone onto a chipmunk
impression actually sounded funny. Must of been a quick match because
Morgans music (i think) was informed by my group that it was poor.
MATCH 8 MAIN EVENT: JBL V JOHN CENA V ANGLE with AUSTIN AS ENFORCER
Austin out first to raise the roof, place goes nuts. JBL next out to loud
boos Im on my feet cheering for him. He gets the microphone and starts
gaining heat. He says the North would kick the Southas ass as a Northerner
I cheer. He then says we call our sport Gaelic but where he comes from its
just GAY! Then gets great heat when he calls us "Englands bitch". Angle is
out next my favourtie superstar. Large "you suck" chants followed by an
"Angle" chant in my section which didnt take off. He didnt get on the
microphone which annoyed me a but. Cena next out and a superb reaction for
him. Alot of cena merchandise in crowd and lots of Cena signs very popular
man here. Good match with alot of spots. typical triple threat with near
saves the order of the day. Ankle lock, an Fu and a massive Clothesline from
hell. It looked sore and im sure Cena felt it. Austin got kncoked out of the
ring midway through. and after The clothesline from hell JBL calls out
another referee but Cena kicks out at 2 so JBL hits the referee. Austin
comes back into ring and stunners Angle and pokes JBL in the eye. FU
delivered and 3 count scored on JBL. Match over and its time for the beers.
I swear I know when they hit the cans off each other half of it goes out but
Austin must of downed about 20 beers with Cena to the delight of the crowd.
At one stage Austin threw the now drunk Cena a beer then another and another
and another and another . Funny moment seeing Cena struggle to hold onto 7
beers. A few more beers drunk then Stunner to Cena crowd pops huge! Austin
gets on microphone and thanks Ireland says first time here in 10 years says
Thanks again and then AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE COS STONE COLD SAID SO!
Leaves the arena but Cena calls him back and calls us the 20000 most
craziest sons of bitches in the World and to show Austin why cue a chorus of
"ole ole." Cena praises Austin for ten years of work (eh? did he not just
stunner you?)
They drink some more beer and leave, Austin runs back and drinks some more
beer before having another on the ramp! end of show!
Overall undercard not as good as Raw in point two years ago. but good all
the same. Had been a good show up until the main event there it turned into
a quality show. JBL and Austin really know how to work the crowd. Cena twice
made reference to 20,000 people being there I would say it would more be in
the region of 12 to 15 thousand but I could be wrong.
