According to PWInsider, WWE has asked Matt Hardy not to sign with TNA. His no-compete clause ends on July 11th, but Vince McMahon feels that the Edge/Lita-Hardy feud could mean big for business for WWE, thus McMahon is hellbent on re-signing Hardy and get him back on RAW.

Word also has it that WWE sent TNA a fax on Tuesday that addresses Hardy's current situation with WWE.
