WWE House Show Results for
Smackdown/ECW House Show in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Arkansas State University Convocation Center
January 12th, 2008
I was sitting in the first row on the lowel level center with the ring. So there
was only 4 rows in front of me. Teddy Long's music hit and came out and welcomed
everyone to the show in Jonesboro. He announced that Vickie Guerrero was not there
tonight, which resulted in a huge pop, and that he would be in charge tonight. He
announced that Edge would defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Rey
Mysterio. He also announced that Mark Henry and Big Daddy V would take on Kane and
The Undertaker.
First Match:
WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
Jimmy Wang Yang/Shannon Moore vs. John Morrison/The Miz
The Match: Pretty good match. Shannon Moore was being beat up until he was able to
tag in Jimmy Wang Yang. The match ended with Morrison and The Miz picking up the
win.

Deuce vs. Jamie Noble
The Match: I really believe that the WWE may be about to turn Jamie Noble into a
face. Jamie Noble came out to heat but was a crowd favorite by the end of the
show. Noble picks up the win.
Nattie Neidhart/Layla vs. Michelle McCool/Kelly Kelly
The Match: It was nice to be able to see Nattie Neidhart finally. It was the basic
diva match with McCool and Kelly Kelly picking up the win.
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match:
Shelton Benjamin vs. Tommy Dreamer
The Match: Shelton wins and advanced to the Royal Rumble.
ECW Championship Match:
Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk
The Match: CM Punk was really over. Basic match between the two. Punk wins with
the GTS.
United States Championship Match:
Finlay W/Hornswoggle vs. MVP
The Match: MVP came out and said that he tried to figure out who Arkansas State
University's main rival was, but found out that they have no main rival because
they are not good enough to have one. Finlay wins by DQ.
Mark Henry/Big Daddy V vs. The Undertaker and Kane
The Match: The Undertaker and Kane got a HUGE POP! The biggest pop of the night by
far. Kane and The Undertaker pick up the win after a chokeslam on Mark Henry.
Elijah Burke vs. Kofi Kingston
The Match: Elijah Burke came out with a towel over his head. He got on the mic and
said that someone had stolen his beads. He took the towel off his head and had no
beads in his hair. He said that whoever took them needs to come out and give them
back. Kofi Kingston comes out and throws the beads out to the crowd. Kofi puts on
an impressive match and picks up the win.
World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Rey Mysterio vs. Edge
The Match: Edge had some major heat. Other than myself and a few other people, the
crowd was definitely pro-Mysterio. Edge tried to leave until Teddy Long's music
hit and came out. He announced that if Edge tries to get counted out or DQ'd, he
will lose the title. Edge comes back in a finishes the match. The match ends when
the Edgeheads come in and distract the ref while Edge hits Mysterio with the title
belt. Edge wins.
All in all it was a good show. Crowd was definitely into it.

Jamie Noble over Duece with a roll-up pin in a horrible match.
Shelton Benjamin over Tommy Dreamer with that facebuster finisher in a Royal Ruble
qualifying match.
TAG TEAM TITLES
The Mizz and John Morrison over Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore when the Mizz held
Jimmys tights (jeans).
Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly over Leyla and Nattie Neidhardt. I dont remember how.
ECW TITLE
CM Punk over Chavo with the GTS in a good match.
UNITED STATES TITLE
Finlay over MVP via DQ, title does not change hands.
Kofi Kingston over Elijah Burke with the Cool Runnings (540 kick) in a really good
match, best of the night. Kofi is and excellent wrestler and got some good pops at
the end.
Taker and Kane over Big Daddy V and Mark Henry with Matt Stryker via double chokeslam.
WORLD TITLE
Rey-Edge...Rey takes advantage early and Edge gets mad and trys to leave but Teddy
Long comes out and says if Edge is DQ'd or counted out he loses his title. The
match restarts, good match, Rey goes for the 619 but the Majors Brothers or whatever
their called come out and distract the ref and Rey, Edge grabs a chair and hits Rey,
1, 2, 3!
Winner-Edge
Rey cleans house and thanks everyone for coming.
Best Match- By far Kofi-Elijah. They are both very athletic and great wreslters.
Worst Match- Noble-Deuce.
