Earlier today, urban celebrity news site MediaTakeout.com reported that Kanye West had been offered $10 million to make three appearances for WWE including one match on pay-per-view. The source website has reported false wrestling news stories in the past (Eminem training for a WWE career, VH1's New York appearing at WrestleMania 25) so the Kanye news was treated as a rumor at best.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross addressed the news in his blog this afternoon:

"I even saw on the 'net that it was alleged that WWE had offered Kanye "$10M" to step in the ring and wrestle which is so outlandish and ridiculous that it's insane."
