What’s up everyone? I just got back from the Raw house show in Baton Rouge, LA. This
was my third live WWE event, and we were only a few rows from the ring, so it was
pretty cool. Here are the results.
MATCH 1: Mike "The Mizz" from Real World and some guy who looked like Joey Mercury
Vs. Rob Conway and Gregory Helms.
I hate Mike Mizanin and his gay ass tag partner, so I was rooting for the heels.
Mike and his boyfriend won when Mizanin hit a swinging reverse DDT on Conway.
WINNERS: Mike and his gay ass Mercury looking tag partner
For the record, Mike has THE WORST F’N DROP KICK I HAVE EVER SEEN. He sucks, I hope
he gets hit by a car or something.
Match 2: Chris Masters Vs. Tajiri
This was a pretty solid match. A lot of net fans hate on Masters but I think he’s
pretty cool, not the best, but no where near as bad as everyone says he is. Tajiri
hit some sick chops and kicks, and his back elbow handspring, but for the most part
Masters dominated. He blocked the tarantula, and eventually won with the Master
Lock.
WINNER: Chris Masters
After that Coach came out and said Eric left him in charge for the evening and
announced that the main event would be Cena and Angle in a street fight. He then
introduced Dr. Death Steve Williams. Williams talked about how he started his career
in the Baton Rouge area and how he has battled cancer and it is a dream come true to
be back in the ring again.
Carlito’s music hit and out came the cool one. He told the coach that he thought he
had a surprise guest and asked him who this guy was? Dr. Death took Carlito’s apple,
then beat the crap out of him and sent Carlito and Coach packing.
MATCH 3: Lance Cade Vs. Chavo Guerrero
No one knew who Cade was, Chavo came out to a pretty decent pop. Lots of "Eddie" and
"Let’s Go Chavo" chants. Lot of stalling before the match, and Cade complaining to
the referee about Chavo using a closed fist. At one point he ran away through the
crowd. This was one of the longest matches of the night, Cade blotched a leap frog
and landed right on Chavo’s back, and they came down in a pile. Chavo reversed a
suplex attempt into a DDT and won with the Frog Splash.
WINNER: Chavo Guerrero
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
MATCH 4: Kane and The Big Show Vs. Snitsky and Tyson Tomco
The heels worked on Kane’s arm for most of the match, hot tag to Big Show, Kane hit
a clothesline off the top rope on Snitsky and Show choke slammed Tomco.
WINNERS: Kane and The Big Show
Torrie Wilson came out with her dog, she looked like shit, tired or something, and
said that we didn’t cheer loud enough so we wouldn’t get t-shirts. She left then the
t-shirt guys came out anyway.
INTERMISSION
MATCH 5: Shelton Benjamin Vs. Trevor Murdoch
I really like Murdoch, he’s got a unique look and a very old school feel. Some guy
in the front row had a plastic shield that said "Murdock spit guard" and Murdock
spit all over him. Another half assed, half talented, half entertaining match by
Shelton. Shelton hit the T-Bone but Murdock kicked out. Shelton won with a quick
roll up.
WINNER: Shelton Benjamin
After the match Murdock beat the piss out of Benjamin.
Next out was the game!!!!!! He cut a promo on Flair. He talked about how he retired
Foley, took years off Austin’s career, and kicked The Rock’s ass so many times he
had to move to Hollywood. He bashed on Baton Rouge and told us he was supposed to
wrestle Flair but since he was still in the hospital (jail) and no one else had the
balls to face him . . .. out comes Big Show. Show called Triple H a coward blah
blah, Game nailed him with a mic and the brawled for a good five minutes. Show went
for the choke slam but got a kick to the balls for his trouble. HHH went for a chair
shot but show punched the chair out of his hands and HHH ran.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
MATCH 6: John Cena Vs. Kurt Angle in a Street Fight (Daivari as the referee)
Decent match, lot of brawling and mat wrestling. Couple of German and belly-to-back
suplexes from Angle. I saw them wrestle at a smackdown house show back in march and
it was much much better. Cena hit all his moves (what like four of them?) and
planted Angle with the FU. Daivari refused to count so Cena gave him an FU. Angle
hit the champ with the Angle Slam but there was no one to make the count. Angle
clocked Cena with the ring steps. Daivari came to, and held Cena for a chair shot,
Cena ducked, no more Daivari, Angle tried again and when Cena ducked the chair hit
the ropes and bounced back into Angle’s face. FU, new ref, the end.
WINNER: John Cena
