1. Carlito vs. RVD
Carlito came to the ring first followed by RVD. There were loud RVD chants, so Carlito decided he wanted a chant of his own. He said if he didn’t get a chant that he would leave. RVD started a “Carlito sucks” chant. Carlito eventually got into the ring and business picked up, as JR would say. Carlito gained the upperhand but it quickly faded. RVD executed his signature moves, finishing with the 5-Star Frogsplash.
Winner: RVD

After the match, RVD went around ringside tagging the fans hands. I was lucky enough to have my hand tagged by him. I was ecstatic.

2. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Viscera & Val Venis
Cade & Murdoch refused to wrestle to begin with. Cade then went to shake Val’s hand and gave him a cheap shot. Cade had the upperhand to begin with but Val eventually took control. Cade tags in Murdoch while keeping Val at bay. Viscera headbutts Cade after Murdoch was tagged in. Viscera is then tagged in by Val and takes down both Cade & Murdoch. Viscera rolls Murdoch over onto his stomach, pulls his tights between his butt cheeks and starts slapping his butt. Viscera then gets on top of Murdoch and starts dry-humping him. Val does a fisherman’s suplex pin to Cade but Murdoch comes off the top rope and breaks the pin. Cade covers Venis for the 3 count.
Winners: Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

After the match, Viscera helped Val up. Both men made the motion of having the tag team belts around their waists. They implied they would soon be the champions.

3. Women’s Championship
Victoria w/ Candice Michelle vs. Trish (c) w/ Mickie
It was the basic women’s match with each doing their signature moves. At one point, Victoria distracted the ref and Candice used her wand to choke Trish. Trish eventually gets the upperhand but both women are taken down when they do a double clothesline.
Trish eventually gets the pin.
Winner: Trish

After the match, Mickie wants to celebrate with Trish but Trish refuses. She says Mickie caused more trouble for her during the match than she actually helped. Trish tries to leave but Mickie jumps on her and hugs her. Trish pushes her off and leaves her sitting in the ring.

Matt Striker segment w/ Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat
Striker said that Knoxville was a legendary town when it came to wrestling. He said that since Knoxville is a legendary town, he would bring out a true legend, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. Striker was talking bad about Steamboat. My cousin, Scotty, and I started a “Steamboat” chant while we were standing at the guardrail. The crowd joined us in the chant. Striker was making fun of Steamboat’s gray hair and his age by saying that us fans were reminding him of his name because Alzheimer’s had taken over at his old age. Striker then said that if Steamboat and the crowd had a problem with what he was saying, he would bring out a problem solver. Tyson Tomko came out and started beating up on Steamboat. Tomko then set Steamboat up against the ropes. Striker told him to give Steamboat the boot. Tomko ran toward Steamboat but “The Dragon” moved and Tomko straddled the top rope. Steamboat chopped Tomko and he fell to the outside. Steamboat then went after Striker and started chopping him. Striker rolled out of the ring. Steamboat stayed in the ring and played to the fans. He told the fans ‘thank you’ then left the ring.

4. Chris Masters vs. Kane
I must say that Masters looks much bigger physique-wise on TV than he does in person. The crowd was behind Kane the moment his music hit. He is the hometown boy after all; he actually lives in my county. Anyway, the match was basically a power match that started with Kane having the upperhand. Masters made his way outside the ring and drank some coke from a fan’s cup. The fan went absolutely nuts that Masters drank from her cup. Masters got back in the ring and had the upperhand for a short while. Kane regained control. He did a sidewalk slam to Masters. Kane then climbed the turnbuckle and waited for Masters to get up. Kane hit the clothesline from the top turnbuckle. Kane then did the chokeslam followed by the pin for the 3 count.
Winner: Kane

5. Shelton Benjamin vs. Chavo Guerrero
Shelton comes out without his momma and gets on the mic. There are lots of “Momma’s Boy” chants. Shelton denies that he is a momma’s boy. Chavo’s music hits and there are a lot of “Eddie” chants. Chavo gets the upperhand but Shelton makes his way to the outside of the ring. Shelton starts walking to the back. Chavo gets a chair and sits in it in the middle of the ring. The announcer tells Shelton that if he doesn’t get back in the ring, he will be stripped of the Intercontinental belt. Shelton gets back in the ring and gets the upperhand. Chavo regains power and starts doing some signature Eddie moves. He sat across the top rope at the turnbuckle and later did the Three Amigos. Chavo then went up top for the Frogsplash but Shelton jumped to the top with Chavo and superplexed him off the turnbuckle. Shelton gained the upperhand again and won by rolling up Chavo and holding the ropes for the pin.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin

During intermission, a guy used the T-Shirt gun to shoot HBK shirts into the crowd. The ring announcer was also tossing shirts into the crowd. The announcer tossed a shirt into the crowd in my section near me. A guy jumped up to grab and in the process took down about 3 or 4 other people as well as knocking over several chairs. He did catch the shirt though.

6. Spirit Squad (3 members) vs. Big Show, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, & Shawn Michaels
Before the match, the Spirit Squad started talking trash about HBK and how he had to join the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club this past Monday (2/27) on Raw. Big Show stormed the ring and slid under the bottom rope, running all members of the Spirit Squad out of the ring. Flair then comes out. HBK is last to enter the ring and the crowd went absolutely nuts when his music hit. The match starts with HBK and a member of the Spirit Squad. Flair is tagged in a short time later. The Spirit Squad mocks the Flair Strut. Flair and the Squad member tie up and Flair gets the upperhand. He then begins his signature chops. The Squad member then gets the upperhand and tries to put Flair in the Figure Four but Flair gets out of it. The Squad member tries a second time and is successful in applying it to Flair. The ref counts Flair’s shoulders down for a 2 count on two occasions. Flair raises up after the second 2 count and flips off the Spirit Squad member then reverses the Figure Four. Flair gets up and chops the Squad member. Flair gets hit and does his Flair Drop. Flair gets up and tags in HBK. HBK gets a Squad member in position for the flying elbow and climbs the turnbuckle then jumps off and connects with the elbow. The Squad member kicks out of the pin attempt. HBK then delivers Sweet Chin Music to the 3 members of the Spirit Squad involved in the match. HBK then pins one of the members for the win.
Winners: Big Show, Ric Flair, & HBK

After the match, Big Show had HBK bend over and hold the ropes. Show then proceeded to rub the faces of each Spirit Squad member in the butt of HBK. Show then did the Figure Four to one of the Squad members. HBK then put the headband of one the Squad members around his head and put their cone yelling thing on his head then made his way to the back with Show and Flair.

7. WWE Championship
Edge w/ Lita vs. John Cena (c)
The crowd loved Cena. Lita got involved in the match and the ref threw to the back. Edge & Cena wrestled to the outside then back into the ring. Edge gets the upperhand and throws Cena to the outside. Edge starts mocking Cena. Edge then throws Cena into the guardrail in front of my section then back into the ring. Cena regained the upperhand and the ref was knocked down. Lita comes out and goes to the top to do a hurricanrana on Cena. Cena moved and Lita nailed Edge with the hurricanrana. Cena F-Us Lita then Edge. Cena covers Edge for the win.
