what up rajah,
first off i wanna say what a great site you run and that i do visit it multiple times a day. All right enough with the ass-kissing..... I remember when the Heart Break Kid was first starting off and he had some catchphrases that sounded something like 1) "I am God's gift to women" and 2) "I am the greatest thing on God's Green earth". I was just wondering if those are right, it has been botherin me for a really long time.
thanx a lot man and keep up the great work, i dont know how you do it, but you sure keep me comin back to your site three or four times a day.

That is accurate. Michaels was a pretty boy that thought he was God's gift to women. And even in those days you could tekk there was something special about Shawn Michaels. Who could forget Bobby Heenan announcing, "Ladies and gentlemen, Shawn Michaels has left the building." Oh, how I miss the Brain. And thanks for the compliments on the site, but really, I must defer just a little bit of the credit to Rajah.

I was just wondering, and have been for a while. Is Giant Gonzales George Muresan (george isnt spelled right. it has a weird spelling) from the NBA and "My Giant"? He is 7'7" and Gonzales was around there. Admit it, there arent too many 7'7" people out there. Also, who was the tallest man in the history of wrestling in the big 2?

No no no. But they'd make one hell of a tag team...

I believe Gonzalez is the tallest man in the WWF's history.

Dear Raj, Gramps and 'Fabe,

Greetings once again from sunny England. Happily, the quantity of questions about Glen Jacobs, Stephanie/Test and Survivor Series 97 has reduced considerably, which to me suggests that the greatest mailbag contributor of *allll* tiiiiime (ie. me) is having an effect.

Anyway, i've taken time out from watching my "Best of Los Boriquas Matches" video (running time 4 minutes) and put down my copy of "Bury Your Career in Less That A Minute" by Bart Gunn, so i can test you all with these posers:

1. Al Snow. When this guy signed from ECW (*ECW! ECW! ECW! ECW!*), wasn't the intention of the bookers to make him a main-eventer and push him against SCSA? The guy has immense wrestling talent and fantastic stick work, but i feel that perhaps the fact that he has no chin (look at him closely next time, that beard can't hide the truth) has counted against him in the past. So what was the story with Al?
2. The Oddities. Despite having one of the best entrance themes ever, this bunch never quite made it. Were they ever really popular, and what was the closest they got to tag or singles gold? And did they have a leader?
3. Before the genius Gillberg gimmick, Duane Gill was of course one of the many jobbers on Superstars and Shotgun. Can any of you recall a single match of his in those days? Did he star in any other fed?
4. Before hooking up with the now-WCW Jeff Jarrett (cue JR "Jarrett has left! Jarrett has left! Jarrett! Jarrett! Dammit! My God! Jarrett!"), what did Debra do? And how did the two form their alliance?
5. I know someone has asked this before, but i can't for the life of me find it. What was the name of the DX band, and at what event did they shoot the live performance that appears on the DX entrance video? Oh, and Kayfabe: "DX is dead". Nice prediction, jabroni! :P
6. The Truth Commission: Possibly THE worst idea for a team in the history of the WWF. But what happened to Sniper, Recon and The Jackyl? How long did the team last? And how did they manage to sell the conversion of THE INTERROGATOR (Cue JR: "My God! The most imposing presence in the WWF today! He's a monster! This is a car wreck, dammit! Dammit! Jackyl! David Koresh! My God! Dammit!") into Kurrrrrrrgan of the Oddities?

Right. A long letter i know, but what's the point in filling column space with questions about whether Debra let SCSA give her a new version of the Lou Thesz Press on their first date, or whether HHH is Chyna's bitch when they get home?
cheers,

The comedic stylings of Eddie, everybody! A reader that truly "gets it".

Hey!great site you all have there!!!
i just wanna ask a few questions.
1)When will The Rock turn heel again?
2)The Hardy Boyz won $100,000 from the Terri Invitational Tournament. Was it real money?
3)iIrecently heard that The Big Show's father was suffering from cancer? Is that an angle?
4)Are the Hardy Boyz real brothers?
5)What is the age of this guys?
a)D'lo Brown
b)Matt and Jeff Hardy
c)Faarooq
d)Bradshaw

That's all the questions i need to ask. Please mail this into your mailbag and answer tihs questions.

1) Not anytime soon. He's so over right now, and IF, that's IF Austin turns heel, The Rock would take over as the definitive number one face in the company.
2) ...No
3) Everything you see on the TV is an angle.
4) Uh-huh.
5) Time for me to play Rajah and guess the ages of the WWF Superstars, only to be belittled and ridiculed by readers that know the answers for a fact.
a) 28
b) Matt is 25 and Jeff is 22
c) 32
d) 28

Hi, I know i'm never been heard of before, adn in fact, my presence on this planet was previously unknown, but I was browsing through your fantastic site, when I saw your comments on the Big show's father passing away 2 years ago... well, as a supplement to this story, I realize it's somewhat unsubstantiated, but I have a friend who used to know Paul Wight when he was a bouncer at a club in philly... The reason Paul Wight can play out this whole father dying arc, is due mostly to the fact that his father had little to do with him, and pretty much left he and his mother alone in the world.... so, he was never all that close to the man.... alright, well, thought I might just pass this tidbit along... I'd just like to say, you run a fantastic web page here...
Thanks for putting in the time...

Yeah, it's well documented that The Big Show did not have the best of relationships with his father. I couldn't fathom him doing this angle if it was someone who he really cared about.

I was just curious as to what the status of the road dogg is? i am hearing all over the internet that he wants out of the wwf because of the jeff jarrett situation with jim ross. is this true?

Jarrett and the D-O double-G are good friends, but the Roadie has no intentions of leaving the WWF. He recently signed a five year contract with Titan, and hopes to finish his career in the WWF.

Hi,
I have a question about the "Raw Bowl" If i remember correctly, about 3 or 4 years ago on January 1st the WWF had a special hour-long "Raw Bowl". I remember the 1-2-3- Kid/Razor Ramon, Owen Hart(R.I.P.)/Yokozuna, and The Smoking Gunns were involved, but I forget the 4th team, who was it? Also did they ever do another "Raw Bowl"?
Thanks

I actually do remember that. I thought it was pretty cool, but to my knowledge, the WWF never did do another RAW Bowl. Of course, in 1996, when the first and only RAW Bowl took place, it just happened to be New Year's Day, hence the gimmick. The fourth team? Good question. Taking that time period into consideration, I would not be surprised if the last team was Shawn Michaels and Diesel.

From:SoCalGerm
Hey Raj,
I just attended the taping of the Martin Short Show, it was a blast. Almost everyone there was a fan of the WWF. I was there with my WWF Championship Belt, and hopefully I'l be on the air. HHH and Chyna came down the steps and HHH's leg got caught in a seat while he was greeting some fans. I'm sure that will be edited out, but I gave you the inside scoop. They talked about Survivor Series, and their relationship. It was really cool. I loved it. Well talk to you later.

Thanks for the info. Let's see HHH reign supreme at the Survivor Series with a win over the Rattlesnake and the People's Ass. Because he is that damn good.

Note from Kayfabe: This was written prior to the Survivor Series. So now screw HHH. Let's see The Big Boss Man reign supreme.

1) Andre was in Princess Bride.
2) Yes, Hogan was on the SI cover in the eighties.

From: PKacera28
I have a pretty reasonable storyline for the Austin situation at Survivor Series. I believe that Test hit Austin with the car. Why? Remember when Jim Ross asked Shane if the main event was still going to be a Triple Thrwat match? Well, Test was in the background and was shaking his head. I believe him shaking his head symbolized that he wasn't happy with the call. I think Test hit Austin with the car hoping to get the title shot because of him being engeged to Stephanie. Test shaking his head was him being mad that the choice had already been made to use the Big Show instead of him. I think Test will give Stephanie the boot cause of this. Its just a thought, but I think it could happen.

I too have been attempting to convince people that Test is the guilty party. Common sense (and Rajah) tells us that one of the following four people will turn heel at or prior to the big wedding in a couple weeks. Shane, Vince, Stephanie, Test. One of them will go heel, and I would expect Test to do it, resulting in a rift between himself and Steph.

From: AndrewPac316
is austin turning bad? Also when is the rock going to win the world title again? c-ya lata rajah.

Nobody knows for sure, but since Austin is injured indefinitely I wouldn't expect many major storylines surrounding him in future months. I'll bet right now that the Rock wins the title back at... Wrestlemania 2000, or XVI, if you will.

From: Paul XL
Hey Granpa, kayfabe, or Rajah!
1) This isn't really a question, it's more of a commentary and I wanna see if you agree with me. I just finished watching Survivor Series and I LOVED IT!!! I really analyzed the show and I found the "moral". The moral of this years Survivor Series is that you DON'T need Steve Austin in a ppv for it to be good. I love Austin and he's basically my favorite wrestler BUT I would NEVER, AND THE ROCK MEANS NEVER, say a PPV sux because Austin wasn't there. I'm just getting tired of the same old thing, it's always Rock, Triple H, Austin, Rock, Triple H, Austin. Why did people boo the Big Show?? Big Show DESERVES the title and anyone who thinks otherwise can go to hell. Some one told me that if Austin leaves, WWF will lose ratings, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???!!! What undedicated fans there are. I mean it would suck if he leaves BUT that's no reason to stop watching it. We need new faces in the world title scene. People like, Test, Bulldog, Bossman (he's been there since 198freakin8) Even Mr. Ass could do it!! Another thing, why was Chyna booed in her match, I certainly hope that it was not because she was a woman. Jericho is a HEEL and it is HE who should be booed. Jericho is a little jackass and I don't know why he gets pops. GO CHYNA!!!!!! The fans are such hypocrites cause DX are also heels but they STILL get pops, even after they insult the fans. Now I know that you or some might say "they can cheer for who they want" Yes, but cheering for BAD GUYS??? That shows the "D-Generation" of this once great nation. Maybe Bret Hart was right, the WWF fans are HYENAS!!!
2) I'm going to Armageddon and I will bring a rajah.com sign. You're the best!!
3) About 3 or 4 months ago you had an article on the newsboard showing pics form wwf wrestlemania 2000 for the N64. One of the pics showed "Excalibur". Who is that??

1) I could not agree with you more, Paul. I like the direction Vince is taking things in. Austin is not the WWF; there are many other stars that work just as hard and are just as good, and with all due respect to Stone Cold, the WWF can survive without him. They've done it before and they'll do it again. Some people seem upset that the Survivor Series was so unpredictable. I don't understand this one bit! That's a big reason why we watch wrestling. You hit on a good point that we can't just have the same thing over and over again. That's why the Big Show and Bossman are making things interesting again. Billy Gunn, Test, the Bulldog, etc.- I'd like to see them all become more involved. The Big Boss Man has earned this push and I don't want to hear anyone knocking him for it. I for one loved Survivor Series and the RAW and Smackdown that followed.
2) You da man, Paul. And hey, remember, you can never go wrong with a big ol' "Y2Kayfabe" sign. Imagine getting a rumors, mailbag, AND newsboard shout out, Paul. I can make it happen.
3)Are you positive? Excalibur had been a (weak) rumored name for Chris Jericho upon his emergence into the WWF, but that obviously (thankfully) did not happen. As a result, I would doubt that there would be an Excalibur character in the WWF's new video game.

I wanted to ask you something. Do you know the guy at the 11/15 Raw Is War the was holding up a sign that said "Go to rajah.com" If you know who it was....can you tell me? I'd really appreiciate if you put this in the mailbag, Thanks, Peace Out!

I believe Rajah said it was a guy named Tony that was proudly showcasing the sign. Tony e-mailed Rajah and told him he'd be there and sure enough he was. Big Maibag shout out to Tony.

Hey Mailbag,
Ill keep it short and sweet. Im long time fan of Rajah's and try to read ever update. BTW great site. Anyway my questions are:
1. Is it just me or has WWF being getting really bad since the depature of there two major bookers. I mean it wasnt all that bad but still none the less worse since they left.
2. Now this question i wanna ask out of luck. Is there anychance of HBK ever wrestling again? (I probably no the answer is "NO" but just wanna make sure.)
Anyway thanks for the time

1) It's just you. Nah, just kidding; everyone's entitled to their own opinion and many people feel the way you do, but I am not one of them. I love the new direction, and re-dedication to wrestling. Ya know shock TV only lasts so long, and hopefully it is in it's twighlight. Granted the format will remain much of the same, but I think things have finally reached their peak and level off. And remember who's in charge here. It's not like any old slub is writing this stuff. It's Vince Frigging McMahon, people! He knows what he's doing and I love it.
2) In the words of the legendary, late Gorilla Monsoon, "Highly unlikely." Meaning of course, it's not gonna happen.

Hey Raj, Kayfabe, and Grandpa! Great site, and you guys do an awesome job with the mail bag. Keep it up! Now for a few questions that have been bothering me for some time:
1) What the hell has happened to the Oddities? Are they still under contract with the WWF? The last time I saw Kurgan and Giant Silva was on a show called "Lucha Libre," on one of the Spanish channels.
2) I've heard a lot of rumors as of late concerning Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Will he be taking part in the ongoing drama in the WWF, backstage work, or training future wrestlers?
3) Do you think Meat (I can't spell his real name) will ever get a decent push in the WWF? As of now, he's just a jobber, but I've read in your title histories that his father was once the WWF champion. I think Meat is a great wrestler, and he ought to be given more exposure.
4) Do you think that we'll possibly see more of the women's division in the near future (seeing how several of the women are starting to get involved in angles of their own, like Tori with Kane and Luna with Gangrel)?
Thanks for your time! Keep up the good work.

1) Golga was released, and Kurrgan and Silva were sent to Mexico to polish up on their wrestling skills, but as of now the WWF hasn't brought them back.
2) I was ecstatic when I heard that the WWF had signed the Anvil, but was disappointed to hear that he won't be wrestling. Instead he'll be behind the stage, and I believe will be instrumental in helping to train some of the wrestlers.
3) I think he's a great athlete and talented wrestler witha big future in the WWF. He's very young and still has a lot of time to be pushed. Don't expect anything very soon, but he'll eventually be given the exposure that he deserves.
4) All signs point to yes. The WWF has been trying to rebuild this division for some time now, and they finally have a good core of ladies to work with. Pretty good hardcore match on Smackdown recently.

From: cwr420
hey raj, i got a pretty hot rumor i found on a friends site today, but as in all rumors it should be taking with a grain or salt, here it is.....Coming from a current top star within the WWF, Bill Lupo has found out that Hulk Hogan will be revealed as the person who hit Steve Austin. Apparently, Hogan's notice was legitimately accepted and his contract with WCW will be up in two weeks. Around that time, Hulk Hogan will be revealed to be the wrestler who hit Steve Austin with a car.

Rumors, rumors, rumors. No truth to that whatsoever.

From: Chris
Do the WWF lie about their wrestlers heights? I say this as I think Vince is about 6'0 but when he is in the ring he looks average height. Also, on peoples photos of them with wrestlers, the wrestler never tower above them.

The prefered term is embellished. Of course the wrestlers' heigths and weights are embellished a bit, but I think that recently the WWF is becoming more realistic. I have heard the team of Edge and Christian announced at a combined 430 lbs., which means that they go about 215 each. Five years ago, the lowest the WWF would go with anyone's weight would be about 235. And trust me, there were a lot scrawnier wrestlers back then than Edge and Christian.

From: Dean
To: Kayfabe
How on earth can you say the PEOPLES ELBOW is a crap finishing move??? Why do all the fans in he arena go crazy when The Rock lines up his opponent for the most electrifying move in sports entertainment today, and when he hits it, well its a bigger pop than most wrestlers get when they come out to wrestle. The worst finishing move is the X FACTOR that is pants, you can see it never really connects. So when you want to insult the most popular wrestler today think about all the millions and millions of fans he has and how he entertains everyone with his mic skills and that he is a child prodigy to be a 3 time WWF champion at ther age of 27. He is the future of the WWF and all of wrestling, he is going to turn out to be the best wrestler ever in the history in the world.

Ah, once again I seem to have created a bit of controversy. What a shocker. For the record, Dean, I never once said it wasn't popular... I just said it sucked. For your information, I happen to be one of the millions, but I can't let that get in the way of being objective. I mean, let's be honest, it's an elbow drop. Not even a good one at that. He loses all momentum just prior to dropping the elbow. Any Rock fan that makes fun of Hogan's leg drop is a hypocrite. The Rock- greatest of all time? Hell no. Best in the biz today? Damn straight. And as for the X-Factor, you've gotta be kidding me. That's a great move. It's an impact move that he can hit out of nowhere, and that always makes for a successful finisher. The impact on that move, if done properly, is reminiscent of that of a Jake the Snake DDT. That's saying somehting. The X-Factor just might be the most underrated move in the WWF today.

hey, i love the site.
1. First, will Dx be getting any new members soon?
2. And, is DX back for good , for a while?
3. Is there any way of knowing what will happen on Raw before it does? Like how Smackdown is always announced?
4. And last, what ever happened to GTV?
Thanks!

1) Not likely. Quite frankly, they don't need any.
2) Definitely. The WWF wouldn't have them split up for six months only to reunite them for a mere couple of weeks. Why break up again now? They just went through that whole angle.
3) Not unless your last name is McMahon. RAW is live each and every week whereas Smackdown is taped two days in advance.
4) Still around... and gonig nowhere fast. What a big dissapointment that angle has been.

From: Trumptmn
Tell me what you think about this...
A while ago, the Undertaker was trying to turn Big Show into a "killing machine", but he was unable to do it. Now, as soon as the Undertaker takes his 'injury break', The Big Show starts to feud with Bossman. The Bossman has begun to tear apart The Big Show by telling him his dad died. We see now that the Big Show "doesn't know what he's capable of." It sounds to me that the Bossman has made TBS into a killing machine, thus doing what the Undertaker couldnt do. Do you think it's possible that the Undertaker is together with Bossman to turn Big Show into a dominant killing machine? If so, then this would set up a future Big Show/Undertaker feud. If you dont think this is possible, then who will the Undertaker be feuding with when he returns?

Interesting theory, though it's hard to picture the Undertaker aligning himself with the Bossman. A number of doors are open for the Undertaker upon his return, but I'd say a feud the Big Show would be at the top of the list.

From: Lex
hey, I am just wondering, do you think that possibly vince McMahon told Vince Russo to go to wcw? I say this because WCW was losing a lot of their fans damn near all of them. but without competition (WCW) WWF probably wouldnt have been watched by many people, so i was thinking that Vince McMahon told Russo to leave to build up some competition?
Thanks a lot.

I'm not one for the conspiracy theories. Sure, they're fun to throw out there, but in the end, many of them just don't seem feasible.

Who holds the record for headlining WWF PPV events continuously? My bet is Austin, but I just want to be sure.
Have a nice day,

Austin has headlined more in a row, but that's only because there are now three times as many pay per views as there used to be. Hogan was on top of the WWF for longer than Austin.

From: Flopaflush
1. The survivor series was traditionally for many 8-man elimination tag team matches. But in I believe 1994, the matches were increased to 10-man elimination matches. Was this because of too many wrestlers to put on the card or what?
2. The royal rumble has been for each man to enter every 2 minutes, every minute and 30 seconds and also every minute when Shawn Michaels won his first rumble in 1995. Is the time decided well before the event or does the WWF decide right before the actual rumble because of time restraints?

1) It's because it fit. The angles worked out in such a way that there was enough talent on the rosters to go with storylines that would allow ten man tags. Also, the original Survivor Series (and I believe the year after as well) showcased ten-man tags. It was later that the format was reduced to eight.
2) The WWF plans it in advance. Although they always could improvise if need be, they generally know how long they want any event to go.

From: LaySmackDown
great site man!!!
1) what lies in the future for mankind? i know he is trying to help out the mid-carders, such as val and al snow.
2) do you beleive he will be in the main event picture again before he retires
3) and do you beleive he will change his gimmick again or turn heel?
thanx a lot!!!!

1) He'll always be a main attraction, but I don't think he'll ever have another serious run at the championship.
2) Depends on what you mean by main event. If you mean feuding with guys like the Rock or Helmsley, or Kane, then OK, yes. But like I said, I don't think he'll ever get the Championship back.
3) Gimmick change? No. Heel turn? That's a definite possibility. I still think he might turn his back on the Rock. I guess time will tell.

Hey,
I have just one quick question.
If The Nacho Man vs. The Huckster free for all match was at Wrestlemania 12 then why isn't it on the Wrestlemania 12 home video? I really want to get a copy of this classic match.
Thanks for the help.

It isn't on the home video because it wasn't on the Pay Per View event itself, but rather on the Prevue Channel's "Free For All" prior to it. By comparison, if you were to rent the 1999 Royal Rumble, you would not get to see Heat, but instead just the Pay Per View. I don't know where you can get a copy of the match if it's not on the video.

Hey!
Good job with the site. I just had a few questions about the Rock that I have been pondering:
1. Where does the Rock buy his $500.00 shirts?

IT DOESN'T MATTER where the Rock gets his shirts!
2. How many different theme songs has the Rock had?
3. What is the Rock's aol screen name?
4. What is the Rock's e-mail address?
5. What is the Rock's home address?
6. How long is the Rock under contract for?
7. What is the Rock's birthday?
8. Hey, I have heard about a proposed match in the WWF called a "Gates of Hell" match. What exactly are the stiplulations, and is there anything special done to the ring during the match?

2) Let's go with four.
3) Who knows? It doesn't matter anyway. He'd probably only have his block on the whole time, and then the one chance you'd ever get to talk to him, some old man would screw it up by e-mailing you that the chat would take place tomorrow, except you'd read the e-mail the next day and think the chat was to be tomorrow, when, in actuallity by tomorrow he meant today; bottom line being you'd get screwed over only to never be able to talk with the wrestling celebrity you admire so much unless Rajah gets off his lazy slacker ass to contact that person again which he just doesn't seem to want to do! *breathe* Not that that's from personal experience or anything...
4) Ask the WWF about that one.
5) coughstalkercough
6) Don't worry; he's not going anywhere.
7) February 2nd. Or something like that. For such a Rock fan, I'm surprised you missed it when he told Mankind after the "This Is Your Life" segment on RAW awhile back.
8) Ah, I believe it was Rajah that broke the idea of that match first. He said it was supposed to happen at Summerslam... good call, Raj. Basically, the rumor is that the match would take place in a special ring, that would have a hole in the center. The hole (the "Gates of Hell") would supposedly open up for thirty seconds every two minutes. The winner would have to throw his opponent into "hell" to win.

HEY RAJ,KAYFABE,AND GRANDPA I LOVE YOU SITE!!!!
ANYWAY I WANTED TO KNOW WHATEVER HAPPENED TO KEN SHAMROCK I HAVENT SEEN HIM AROUND IN A LONG TIME. DID THE WWF KICK HIM OUT OR SOMETHING OR DID HIS CONTRACT RUN OUT? PLS LET ME KNOW!!!! PLS PUT THIS IN THE MAILBAG I REALLY WANT TO KNOW!!!!

Shamrock, re-injured an old neck injury. His status at this time in uncertain. Shamrock, was scheduled to return to the UFC, this too, is uncertain. Depending on his recovery, a return to either promotion is very likely.

Wassup Raj,
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you're site is tight. It's even better than WWF.com! Anyways, I want to know how the arena's are selected to host RAW's and pay-per views. It pisses me off, I'm from California, and the nearest arena is the San Jose Arena. And back in March when Raw came to SJ, it was loud as hell and the fans were very into the whole show. Since then the only thing that has came are house shows, they're nice, but RAW is much better. I was also wondering if it could be because the SJ arena is pretty small compared to other arena's, so the WWF couldn't make as much money. I hope that's not why, but I was just wondering.
Thanks!

Now days, with the revenue the PPV's generate, the size of the venue isn't as important as it used to be. I grew up in Hayward, back then, the matches were held at the Cow Palace, in San Francisco.

OK GUYS I REALLY CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE---- IS THE ROCK MARRIED???

Yes, he is.

From:Corey
Hello!
I was wondering if you could tell me why Debra has not been seen on RAW lately? I was also wondering if you have heard that Stone Cold might be leaving wrestling due to a custody battle over his children with his ex-wife? Someone told me that article was in GQ Magazine. Is he still dating Debra anyway?
Thanks

With the departure of Jeff Jarrett, Debra is currently without an angle. SCSA, won't be leaving anytime soon. Yes, they are dating.

What sites can I go to for summaries of every wwf ppv match?
Thanks

OK, but don't tell Rajah: Click here for the Best Damn Wrestling Site there is!

Hey grandpa, kayfabe, and rajah i got some questions that hopefully you can answer.
1)Do you remember when the president called the WWF last year? Who really did the voice for Clinton?
2)Who was the Iron Sheik and Iran Sheik? I think i might be confused but can you clarify that for me. I heard one of them used to come out with the Iranian flag.
3)I saw on a website that once Eric Bischoff used to come out and give all the results of wwf monday night raw. Did he? and isnt that illegal??
P.S. please put this in the mailbag

1)Probably Clinton, it's not like he has anything better to do! Damn Commie!
2)The Iron Sheik defeated Bob Backlund for the WWF title. Shortly there after, Hulk Hogan defeated him and the rest is history. Kozrow Vaziri is the Iron Sheik, from Tehran, Iran, he is the person you're thinking of. Do not be confused with the "other" Sheik. To check the "other" Sheik's website click here
3)He did a few times, not a big deal. To the best of my knowledge, there is now law against such antics.

From:Neil
I was wondering if you could answer these questions:
1) I know that for a while, WCW was doing a lot better than WWF. When was that time and what were the angeles happening in the two companies?
2) Why the hell is Tony Shivoniani on tv?
3) I remember that DX was originally supposed to be heel, but became face. How did this happen, and could they be cheered again soon?
4) If Austin was supposed to turn heel, how would he? Wrestlers attack him to be bad, so what would he do? I mean, wouldn't everyone still cheer even if he made fun of them?

1)WCW controlled the ratings in the height of the NWO days.
2)I believe, him and Flair are good friends.
3)The fans determine who is going to be faces and heels. There is a good chance that in time, DX will hear the cheers of the crowd.
4)You're probably correct, it will take a tremendous angle to turn the fans against SCSA.

From:Ron/Dani
Hey was sup guys Me and my friend have a bet on something.......he paid $130 on a WCW replica belt and we have that on the line. He thinks that there is no "real" belts that you see on T.V. that you can get a real replica of and I saw a site posted on one of the last mailbag's that had real ones and I was wondering if you can post it again or tell me which mailbag had it.
Thanks because I really want that WCW replica

This was sent in by a Erich:

Rajah, Kayfabe, Grandpa- Love the site. It has to be the best wrestling site out there. Anywho, just read the past few mailbags and saw a bunch of questions relating to the championship belts. I just thought that this site would be useful: click here This is the home page of THE man who makes all the championship belts for WWF, WCW, ECW and more. On top of that, there is an order form where you can actually purchase a real championship belt. However, you cannot get the current WWF Championship belts (World and Intercontinental) because according to him, these are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced. That is why some of the ECW belts are like the old WWF belts because the old WWF belts were not copyrighted and anyone could have used their design. So, if you want an actually championship belt go to the source. It may take a while for it to arrive (several months) but you can't buy it at a store.

Seems like that manufacturer is no longer dealing with the public (marks), try this one click here

What in the world is happening with the Undertaker, please don't tell me he's leaving the WWF

The Undertaker is taking a well deserved break, in hope of recovering from his chronic injuries. Hopefully, the time off will give him the necessary time to heal; if surgery is required, there's no guarantee he will ever wrestle again. Only time will tell.

From:Bay585
1. Was the match between owen and ken in the lion's den shoot or work?
2. Has the red rooster ever won any titles?
3. Do you have any information on the ultimate Warrior?
Please put this in the mail bag, and keep up the good work

1)Work
2)Yes, NWA National Heavyweight Champion and NWA National Television Champion
3)Check the link below.

From:Evilhbk
1)When someone last time asked you if there were any wrestlers that had the same gimmick there whole time in the big 2 wasn't the Undertaker always the Undertaker? and if he wasn't then what was he before that.
2)And one more thing do you think that any of these wrestlers can win the title? Test, Hardcore holly, Al Snow, Edge or any other young star?
thanx
Rajah your site kicks @$$!

1)In WCW, he was "Mean" Mark Calloway and one half of the Skyscrapers.
2)Any wrestler can strike gold, especially now days. The key is holding the title, never in all my years of wrestling (which are many) have I seen so many title changes.

From:Anthony
Hey Rajah
Great site. I wanted to know all Canadian born wrestlers in all 3 promotions (WWF,WCW,ECW) and can you tell me where were they born?
Thanks

Slam!, has an excellent Canadian Wrestlers section. Check it out: click here , I hope this helps out.

1. Will the WWF ever have another Hell in The Cell Match with Undertaker and Mankind? The last one was unforgettable and another one would be even better.
2. I heard somewhere that sometime in the year 2,000 that the Corporation will be back and will be bigger than ever, this time being Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin as the leaders. Is that true?
3. With Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara going to WCW, do we have to worry about WWF talent going to WCW? I know some wrestlers have no compete clauses but I don't know if all of them do.
4. I think for Chris Jericho do get a push, they should stick him with Triple HHH, and Chyna. Could that happen?
5. Is there any chance for the Nation of Domination to get back together. I think Farooq needs to get a better gimmick and that would be it. I t could consist of the following.
1. Farooq
2. Curtis Hughes
3. D-Lo Brown
4. GodFather
5. Mark Henry
6. Dudly Boyz
That would be cool
Answer these if you think there good enough for the mailbag.
Thanks

1)I hope so, that was a very entertaining match. However, gimmick matches must not be over used or they will lose their appeal.
2)Possibly, but it is way to early to tell.
3)Only time will tell. The WWF already lost Jarrett, they can ill afford to lose anyone else.
4)Chyna, maybe. As of right now, it doesn't look like Chnya will be rejoining DX anytime soon. Then again, anything can happen and probably will.
5)I doubt it, but I think you have a great idea.

From:Parker
first off i just want to say that site is ver well done and commend you on the news and rumors.
Here is my question(s)
1. What do you think of the WWF's Russo less shows?
2. Do you think that the WWF will slowly decline in the ratings, I sure hope not.
Please print this in your mailbag.

1)So far, so good.
2)Too early to tell. The next couple months should give us an idea as to what is likely to occur.

Dear Raj,
Hey I was wondering if you have a recent picture of Kane? I've never seen what he looks like in real life.
Thanks A Lot.

From:Josephine
Hey Raj and staff! You guys rock!!!
Here are my questions:
1. Many times before a match starts or before a WWF superstar talks on the mic, I hear a horn-type sound in the backround. What is that? Is that for their que or something? (Gosh, I hope u guys know wat I'm talking about!)
2. Who do you think the next IC holder will be?
3. Do JR and Lawler get good pops or heat when they come out?
4. Why does WCW suck so much? :-)
5. Why does WCW always try to steal WWF wrestlers & gimmicks? Noticed that??!!
6. How do you guys know practically EVERYTHING about the WWF? Do you have a video library at home or something?
COMMENTS: (please comment on them)
1. Austin is the stupidest SOB around. I've got reasons why he sucks:
-Because of him, Jeff Jarrett, one of the best WWF wrestlers ever, is heading to the We Can't Wrestle federation (WCW hehe)
-He gets pops from just brawling.
-He hasn't done a "wrestling move" in a long time
-He didn't go to Owen Hart's funeral... He's too proud & stupid to pay respect to the dead. (RIP Owen we love you!)
-He drinks too much beer, and half of the beer doesn't even go into his mouth
-Every word outta his mouth is a dirty one
-I HATE that stupid 3:16 angle, I agree with Jarrett that it SUCKS and it's disrespecting John 3:16 There's waaaaaaay more than that and u all know it!
2. I hear Paul Wight's father died years ago so I don't think they should have that angle... I mean, when Owen died ppl were asking each other "was that real?" because sometimes it's hard to tell whether something in the WWF is real or a work.

1)I'm sure it is a type of cue. When I was a mark, they actually used cue cards; and we liked it!
2)Flip a coin, the possibilities are endless. I would say the frontrunners are: Jericho, Test and TBS.
3)They receive great pops, both of them.
4)Some people enjoy WCW, it's all about preference. In all honesty, WCW has a lot more talent than the WWF.
5)Wrestling copies wrestling; always has, always will.
6)We know everything! Just kidding.
comments-1)I agree, SCSA is way over rated. Besides, anyone who spills that much beer, should be left in the desert without water or any beverage!
2)You're correct, TBS's father passed away years ago. You are not the only fan to have a problem with this angle. In my opinion, it is questionable, at best.

From:Badguy1128 (Kyle)
What up guys?
I have a few questions for the mail bag if it's cool with you guys.
1. At Wrestlemania 6 during the Hogan Warrior match at the end Hogan kicks out of the pin attempt before the ref counts to 3 but they still counted it as a win for the Warrior, was it supposed to happen that way or did Hogan screw up?
2. Who hold the record for the shortest world title reign in the wwf?
3. During the 10-18 Raw when the ropes broke during the Outlaws vs. Acolytes match was that supposed to happen or was it an accident?
4. Why does the wwf refuse to sign a great talent like Rob Van Dam to a contract he alone could carry the IC title to unbelieveable heights of credibility.
5. Who is worst at blading Vince McMahon or Big Show?

1)The timing was off, however, it did not influence the outcome of the match.
2)Many wrestlers of late, have the distinction of being oneday champions (win title at PPV on Sunday, lose title the next Monday). Mankind comes to mind on this one.
3)I dunno.
4)Rumors have been reported that RVD has an attitude and is very difficult to work with. This is a shame. Considering some of the stunts, and the egos that some of the other major headliners show, I find it hard to believe that RVD isn't worth the risk. In my not so humble opinion, RVD, is the best athlete in wrestling today, not to mention the most entertaining too.
5)TBS

Im gonna cut to the chase. love the site. some questions...
1) What ever happened to Brutus "the Barber" beefcake??
2) what is yokozuna doing now a days?
3) any updates on the debra/playboy situation?
4) whats the ultimate warriors situation with the wwf?
5) whats up with shawn micheals?

1)He has been wrestling in WCW.
2)Working the Indy's, and working at a wrestling school in Vegas (Buffalo Wrestling Federation).
3)At this time, no deals have been worked out for Debra to appear in Playboy. For now, no puppies :-(.
4)Not good. It's doubtful that Warrior will ever wrestle in one of the big three again. For more ramblings, checkout the Ultimate Warrior.com
5)I wouldn't expect to see HBK anytime soon. In fact, there are no assurances he will ever appear again.

From:LimpBizkit3030

Hey raj., kayfabe, & gramps. This is without a shadow of a doubt, the best damn site around, if ya smelelelel...what i'm cookn'.
On to the Qs:
1) Who do you think will be fighting for the belt at Wrestlemania this year? I gotta go with a rematch of the Rock vs. Austin.
2) Who would win in a triple threat match between Kayfabe, Grandpa, and Rajah?

1)You're probably correct. However, anything is likely to take place in the mean time. Originally, it was reported that TBS would be a headliner, however, he has failed to garner the necessary fan support to ensure this opportunity. Stay tuned.
2)Grandpa, of course, if he were to compete.
