| rajah.com Mailbag -By Kayfabe and Rajah |
Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.
Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:
1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW
IMPORTANT: For this next edition of the mailbag, we are asking all readers to send us in with their Wrestlemania-related questions, memories, comments and general discussions. We hope to get a lot and will post only dialogue related to Wrestlemania. Please take this into consideration when sending us your emails this week! Thanks.

Hello...i have a question. I looked at the matches you have for the canadian
tour in march and i noticed that the shows in montreal and toronto are
pretty much identical. i was wondering if this was just a mistake or does
this usually happen in house shows where the have the same matches? Thanx
Yep, usually weekend house show tours feature the same (or very similar) matches and results. So if you're going to a Saturday House Show, I wouldn't read the Friday results. They just might spoil your day.

hey kayfabe, great site, heres my question: Do you think that Shawn Michaels will ever wrestle again? I know he said hes not going to but that just might be a lie to cover up his
return. What do you think?
I think that we have seen the last match from the Heartbreak Kid. I'd love to see him come back one final time to take on Triple H. But even if he did return, I bet it wouldn't be for another year or two. So I think everyone should stop speculating, because as it stands now, Shawn Michaels is the only person that knows if he'll ever step in the ring again.

Remember Blackman's very first appearance?, well was it shoot or angle?
The run in from the crowd in a tag match involving Vader and Bulldog and two others... Thanks
It was a work, of course. If someone could get a contract with the WWF just by buying a ticket to their show and jumping one of their wrestlers, Mideon would have a lot of crazed fans to fight off.

I know you have many things to do, so I will be as brief as
possible. First of all, why does everyone think that Bradshaw
could get over as a singles wrestler? He has almost no mic skills
or real wrestling ability. Faarooq is the only Acolyte that could get
over on his own.
I don't know who you're referring to when you say "everyone", but I don't think I've ever said that. You're right about Faarooq as he's proved himself before, but I don't think Bradshaw would be bad on his own. Yes, his first singles stint didn't go well, but let's be honest, his gimmick wasn't one that allowed him to have much success. Bradshaw's a pretty good power wrestler, and if he kept kicking ass the way he and Faarooq do now, he'd make a decent midcarder. But, there's no use talking about it; as long as Faarooq is in the WWF, Bradshaw will remain an Acolyte.

Hey great site best I've seen, enough ass kissin on to the question
What is Edge's finisher? I know he uses the spear alot but i think thats a
pretty crappy move for a finisher. I know for awhile he was usin Canyon's
Flatliner(reverse russian leg sweep)but i dont know if thats hes finisher.
Please put in mailbag and answer as best u can, keep up the good work
His "official" finisher is listed as The Downward Spiral, which is Kanyon's Flatliner. I think it's a pretty crappy finisher too (I mean, he just... falls down, right Veg?). He uses the spear as one of his pattened moves, and sometimes, does it quick enough to actually grab the win, which I actually like. But it's not his Finisher.

Do you think that there will ever be a new Hart Foundation with Chris Benoit,
British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart and Ted Hart ? and maybe possibly Bret if will
ever return.
Unfortunately, I don't think so. As much as I'd love to see it, the only time I see Bret in the WWF again is in my dreams. Plus, Davey Boy won't be wrestling again for awhile and Niedhart has stopped actively wrestling for the most part. So I'm guess I'm saying it would be a real stretch. And anyway, Owen and Bret are the Foundations of the Hart Foundation, so what the hell kind of Hart stable would it be without them?

First off i am so glad that people agree with me that Gangrel is so underrated. First of how well does he get other guys over. I have never
seen a guy jump so high for a Rock Bottom! He should go Hardcore or a least get a Euro reign. When the Undertaker returns get Gangrel with him! Get him over as a heel and BRING BACK BLOODBATHS!
Can you believe Luna was fired from WWF without ever holding the women belt it's a disgrace!
Yes, bloodbaths! Actually, I'm not a huge fan of Gangrel, but I think he could definitely be better used than he is now. But with the depth of the WWF's roster it seems he's been lost in the shuffle.

I was wondering who you think is the best overall wrestlers , I think that Tazz , Ken Shamrock , Al Snow and Dean Malenko are the best
what do you think?
Depends if you're talking about currently or all time. All time, I'll go with guys like Flair, Backlund, Steamboat, Bret & Owen Hart, etc. As for the WWF right now, I'd have to think about Malenko, Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Shamrock, etc. And don't forget Scott Taylor; he's underrated. As far as those that also combine good technical wrestling with high flying action, The Hardy Boyz, Christian, and Essa Rios top the list.

I was wondering. You know the the guy that Tiger Ali Sing got to make fun of
Jim Ross for 5 hundred dollars on Heat? Is that the same guy who plays
oklahoma the paiody of Jim ross, in wcw? Thancks alot. your site rocks.
Yes, his name is Ed Ferrara who was then a WWF booker, but jumped to WCW along with Vince Russo last fall.

My WWF viewing history has been strange and varied,
including missed years of '96 - '2000 (thereabouts),
except for a couple of Saturday veiwings (about 3).
Anyway, when wrestlers change identities, why does the WWF expect us to not know who they were. Examples:
1) The last time I saw the 1-2-3 kid was whne he was in an angle with Razor Ramon. The next time I saw him was when he was X-Pac, yet the commentators never said "1-2-3 Kid is back as X-Pac" (probably because he had a beard)
2) Billy Gunn left the Smoking Gunns and I he was known as Billy Gunn. However, when he changed to Mr. Ass it was "Mr. Ass" not "Mr. Ass Billy Gunn". I think they had to change it to "Bad Ass Billy Gunn" because it was too obvious the he once was Billy Gunn.
Hope you can give me some insight into this problem.
As you probably know, Sean Waltman got the name the 1-2-3 Kid when he upset Razor Ramon on Monday Night Raw in 1993. After then, he began pulling off a number of upsets over various WWF superstars. He had brief Tag Team Title runs with Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly before turning heel and joining Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation. Then, in 1996, Waltman left the WWF and went to WCW to join his buddies Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) and Kevin Nash (Diesel) in the NWO. He became known as Syxx (a 'clever' pun, as 1 + 2 + 3 = 6. Get it?) and remained a midcarder down south. In 1998, Waltman returned to the WWF and showed up on Raw to join forces with another of his best friends, Triple H. HHH was the new leader of DX, with Shawn Michaels' recent departure, and brought in his buddy, Waltman, to join the stable. They called him X-Pac, but they didn't try to hide the fact that he was once called the 1-2-3 Kid.
Same goes for Billy Gunn. After he split up with his "brother" Bart Gunn, Billy went on to pursue a singles career. Unfortunately, he couldn't find a decent gimmick, as "Rockabilly", a protege of the Honky Tonk Man, was a miserable failure. At the same time, the ex-Roadie, Jesse James, was having a tough time of his own. Eventually, the two had enough of their lame gimmicks and began teaming up, taking a new attitude into their matches. They were becoming bad asses. The New Age Outlaws were born, and so were the Road Dogg and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn.
Alright, I think you're a little confused. But that's okay; it's been awhile. The WWF isn't trying to pass off guys like X-Pac and Billy Gunn as different people. It's just that over the years, their characters have evolved.

Hey, like the site. Anyways, I don't really have a question just a comment
about one of the past answers that you gave to maybe clear up some stuff.
Anyways in the last mailbag in section 2, you said this:
I'm no WCW expert so I did some research and discovered that Benoit hasn't won the Cruiserweight Title.
To be honest with you, I'm not WCW expert either, but as you did the same i did a little bit of research when all the radicals came. If you check at wcw.com you will find that one of the first winners of the belt was a guy by the name of Wild Pegasus. Well, that's Benoit's really old name, so there you go.
Well, not according to the place I did my research from, but if you went straight to the source (WCW.com... wish I thought of that), then I believe you.

Hey guys, great site.
Am I the only person who think Benoit sucks? He looks like a leprechaun. In
my opinion he's too stumpy to be a main eventer, I wouldn't pay $30 to see a
leprechaun wrestle. I can see midget wrestling on Classic Sports every
sunday morning. He should have a new gimmick were he wears all green, a
green little hat and carries around a box of lucky charms. I'd rather see
Eddie Guerrero and his mulett wrestle X-pac in a mainevent than see Benoit.
He blows. And that head butt? Why? That all I want to know, why?
Do I detect a little bitterness there, Dan? That's OK, you're entitled to like and dislike whoever you want, but most people do like Chris Benoit. There's no such thing as being too stumpy to be a top player; Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels proved that size doesn't matter. The Headbutt is a pretty good move. Lots of people have used a headbutt off the top in the past. Bam Bam Bigelow comes to mind. I must say, though, that Leprechaun idea is most interesting. Maybe they can try that out on someone else...

Het Rajah, great site. I was wondering with the 2000 summer olympics coming up,
does Kurt Angle, Mark Henry, or any other superstar plan on participating in the
olympics? I know for sure i would watch when Kurt Angle was in a match. Also, I
found something strange about theme music. If you listen good, Stone Cold's
music seems to be just a faster version of Razor Ramon's. I thought it was
pretty cool.
Wow! I've never realized that before, but now that I think about it, the beats are very similar indeed. They just replaced the screeching with the glass breaking, sped up the beat, threw in some background noises for extra effect, and took out the climax. Weird.
Nope, they're devoted pro wrestlers now, though you've gotta wonder if Henry made a wise career choice.

i have one question. who won the lawsuit between the wwf and sable? if it
was sable, how much money did she get? oh yeah, and where is the kat?
The WWF won the lawsuit with Sable and won the rights to her name. Sneaking in with that quick second question... the Kat just hasn't been used on TV recently because there's no angle for her right now. So she's taking a little bit of a break from the camera.

Hey! Excellent site, i go to it everyday...My question is whatever happened
to Test's main event push? I know he's been injured and such, but he has
really just faded away. They had the perfect scenario for him, coming off the
wedding and all, but they didn't capitalize. So do you think he'll get his
shot anytime soon?
Well, like you said, he was injured; that will take a lot of your momentum away. Yes, Test was moving on up, but I don't think the WWF ever intended to have Test and HHH headlining a PPV, even coming off the wedding angle. He's still only in his early/mid 20's. Test will have his time. It just hasn't arrived quite yet.

Hey Rajh love your site.
I remember back before "too cool" was popular and they were called Too Much that they fought in a few 8-man tag matches against the Hardys (before Michael Hays turned them around) and someone else, they would team up with some guys who looked like bikers (i think one was called 8-ball??) well, who were they, and where did they go??
Skull and 8-Ball were from the stable the Discyples of Apocolypse (DOA) and, yes, they had a biker gimmick, which is why their careers weren't going anywhere fast. They're actually Ron and Don Harris, and have recently enjoyed success in WCW first as Creative Control and now as the Harris Boys. They actually won the WCW Tag Team Titles at one point.

Rajh, Kayfabe whats up . I think you guys have a kick
ass site. I am a huge Tazz Fan and Was glad to learn
that the wwf signed him back in October. I would like
to know your opinions on what title he will most
likely win first, World title, Ic Title, Euro title,
or Hardcore title. I think he would most likely win
the hardcore title 1st I eman it makes sense he came
from ECW an was obviously their best talent. Also,
real quick, I heard a rumor that Buff bagwell wants
out of his wcw contract so he can go to WWF and show
vince that he is the stuff if he is not pushed in wcw
by March 1st. I want to know if the wwf will show
interest in him. Please post this in your next Mail
bag. I go to your site every day and it kick ass!!!!
Thanx keep up the good work!!!!
I would say Tazz has would be more likely to go after the Hardcore Title first, only because there are just too many others in line ahead of him for the European and Intercontinental Titles. Buff Bagwell shows a ton of interest in the WWF, but they show just about none in him, and I can't say I don't know why. Buff is an average wrestler with a suposed poor work ethic and big ego. The WWF doesn't need any more talent right now, especially someone that fits that description.

Someone asked a question about steriods and I would like to add that I am
certain the Rock had surgery removing fat from his pecs. Well that probably
wasn't fat instead it was gyno or more commonly called bitchtits a side
effect from the juice. Which is breast tissue not fat. He still has a problem
with it if you notice now. His pecs are not solid but appear flabby again.
Seems he hasn't heard of antiestrogens.
Bitchtits, eh?

What is the difference between the wcw style and the wwf style of wrestling?
I heard that wwf wrestlers where upset with y2j, because he was still
using the wcw style. do you know anything about that? oh, and about the missed dropkick phenomenon..how about the suplex off
the top rope? why would anyone who would be getting suplexed off the top
rope carefully stay up their all balanced to take that move? That never
made sense to me. its almost as bad as the people's elbow, any other
wrestler its just a elbow drop, but the rock pins people with it, ok that
makes sense! and some word of thought the dudley's -vs- kane/undertaker= a match
between the brothers from different fathers against the brothers from
different mothers!!!!!!Entitled: the male sluts son's
-vs- the whores children.. lol i probably cant say that huh? I know you don't follow wcw, but have you seen diamond dallas' page has
a book? I have not seen it out on newstand. wcw only offers it through mail
order. Looks like wcw doesn't want to embarass themselves with bad ratings
and a bad author, (hell that trailor park trash only has a 3rd grade
education so I doubt he wrote it). This tells me that they cant compete
against foley and rock's #1 sellers!!!! I don't hear that tony jabroni announcer for doubah cee doubah,(wcw)
taking his trash about the wwf anymore. how come?
sorry so long I had to express my freedom of speech. Foley is god!! have a nice day :)
Hmm, that's not one question, James. But like you said, it's good to express yourself. Going back to the Y2J question, it means he tends to actually wrestle (Note: This is not a knock at the WWF; They are all I've ever loved. It's just that their TV matches have become in most cases pretty lackluster since the average one lasts three minutes tops and is filled with just one or two trademark moves from each participant and the all too common hot-tag.)

Hey Guys, I heard that the Fabulous Moolah is Ivory's mother, is it true?
Hell no. I don't know where that one came from, but you're actually not the only person to send in that question.
