rajah.com Mailbag
-By Kayfabe and Rajah

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:

Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW

I have a Question about you guys, on MailBag 27 you seemed to fight a lot do you guys really hate each other or just like giving each other shit?

No, we just give each other a lot of shit. Kind of like Foley and Snow, I guess. Though I'm a lot better than Al Snow. Rajah seems to concentrate on the angle that I'm a "pervert" because I made one little oral sex reference in the rumors. Yeah, it's just me; not like the WWF has been tuning up the sexual references and overtones in the HHH/Steph relationship (Note: This is being written prior to Summerslam). I think Rajah is offended by these remarks because he is uncomfortable with his own sexuality and does not approve of this type of discussion on his website or on TV. It seems to me like he belongs in the PTC. Anyway, he seems to center on one unfounded thing whereas I can attack him on a number of subjects which makes for the much better overall rib.

It's hard to do, because in the Mailbag, Rajah can always get the last word, since he posts it and can do the final edit. I just have to hope that he's too lazy to read what goes up on his own site, but fortunately for me Rajah is a very lazy man and that happens way more often than you visitors would like to think.

Another thing while I'm at it: I've gotten a few emails about the jokes we throw at each other. Sometimes people will ask me, "Why do you take all that crap from Weakner? He's a jerk, you rule; I'm on your side." or "Man, you're so unfair to Rajah. He's so much better than you. You suck, jerk." The thing is, we look at this stuff and laugh. We don't actually hate each other; there's only one side; rajah.com. We bust on each other for fun. People side with Rajah on our little back and forth insults, and I read these emails where they say he should be mad at me, and kick me off the site and stuff. Well, guess what, obviously we're pals, or else I wouldn't be here in the first place. It's kind of like family. You can say whatever you want about your family, but the minute someone else puts them down, you pop them in the mouth. It's the same way with us, except I would never risk physical harm defending someone like Weakner. I would however, write a very serious email on his behalf.

You see, that's how it works. We're obviously all on the same page and are just goofing around. I hope that clarifies this whole thing for some people.

Actually, if I may throw in my two cents...I think Weakner and Kayfabe have some legit heat because once Kayfabe tried to put the moves on Weakner and Weakner didn't appreciate it and naturally so. According to my sources (and by golly they are NEVER wrong), there may also be some legit heat between Kayfabe and Aree. Aree might have a crush on Weakner but I think Kayfabe might too so there is some disagreement there. Everyone else gets along though.

How many Undertakers have been? Just joking!!! When a wrestler pulls a figure leg four or other submission move on his contender do you think he put pressure. A figure leg four hurts a lot I made it once to my brother and I put a lot of pressure on him and after that he was unable to walk for almost five minutes. Finally I just want to add that the APA should join the XFL and powerslam every dam quaterback there. AND finally Bring Back Jarret. Peace.

Every move has some pain involved in it, though holds are easier to "fake" than impact moves. A wrestler can make it hurt very badly if he wants, but usually he'll just apply the move as normal, leaving himself and the opponent to sell the hold as if it were really casusing excruciating pain.

Hey Raj and Gay,i mean kayfabe...your site is the best on the web, blah blah blah...my question is Why does Crash Holly seem to be in the WWF "dog house" ? You said maybe beacuase of what happened at WWF New York...well what happened there???

Like I'd answer a question for someone who calls me gay. Well, fortunately for you, many others sent in the same query, so I won't ruin it for them. Many have said that Crash got drunk, vomited, and made an ass out of himself at WWF New York, but I somehow doubt the rumors are true. There's a possibility they are, but I'd say the abundance in talent on the roster, and the evolution of the Hardcore Title, has a lot more to do with the fact that Crash has done less in recent weeks.

Hey Rajah and Kayfabe,
I've seen wrestlers win the big belt: the World Heavyweight Championship Belt. What my question is, how many wrestlers have won the World Heavyweight from both WWF and WCW? I can think of a ton whereas WWF, then WCW, but not one the other way around, help?

In the mid-90's, many prominent WWF stars and former WWF World Champions, including Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Sid, and Kevin Nash left the WWF for WCW and won the WCW World Title. But few others have been successful at making the jump the other way, and winning the WCW Title and then the WWF Title. The only ones I can think of are Ric Flair (who also went back to WCW again and became their World Champion), and "The Big Show" Paul Wight. Others like Lex Luger, Vader, Ron Simmons (Faarooq), and recently Chris Benoit, have come close. Benoit still obviously has a very good shot at this accomplishment, and perhaps one day Jeff Jarrett will too.

I WANNA KNOW FROM ALL OF YOU GUYS WHO IS YOUR PICK FOR WRESTLER OF THE 90'S AND TAG TEAM OF THE 90'S ??

It's tough to call and it's certainly a question that will receive a very opinionated answer, but for wrestler of the 90's, I'd personally go with Bret Hart. It's either him or Shawn Michaels, and I think Bret deserves it more. Other top names of the decade include Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage,Kevin Nash, Steve Austin, and more, but when you're looking at the whole decade it's going to come down to Bret and Shawn, and as I said, I'd pick Bret. He was a better wrestler for longer than Shawn was, he accomplished more, he wasn't as injury prone, he was a leader in the locker room, he was on top much longer than Shawn (and could have been even longer had the Clique not interfered). Shawn often refused to job for the good of the company, he barely lost any of his Titles in the ring thus making no one look good, he drew flies during his run at the top as compared to Bret (though granted not entirely his fault). I'd say Bret Hart is the true wrestler of the 90's.

Tag Team of the 90's is really had to judge. Many would jump to the New Age Outlaws first, but when they were on top they had virtually no legitimate tag team competition. The LOD aged in the 90's and their best days were clearlyin the 80's. The Steiners and Money Inc. were two very good tag teams, but the Steiners' WWF run was brief, and Money Inc. were only together for about a year and a half. Demolition enjoyed most of their success in the 80's, and teams like the Rockers and Hart Foundation broke up very early in the 90's. I hardly consider average teams like the Nasty Boys, Natural Disasters, Headshrinkers, Smoking Gunns, and Quebecers tag team of the decade candidates, but after they disappeared, the WWF tag team division really went to hell. Fortunately, there has been a resurgance in that division in the last year or so, and it's now stronger than it has arguably ever been. There was no real dominant team in the 90's, so it might have to go to the Outlaws by default.

One quick question... Is there a particular reason that the WWF hasn't come to West Virginia in like three years? We were good enough to hold a really lame WCW PPV Souled Out, last year or the year before, but the WWF doesn't seem to give us the time of day,,,, Can you shed any light on this subject?

Lots of people complain that the WWF doesn't come to their neck of the woods often enough. They can't be everywehere, folks. West Virginia just isn't a major market, and while the WWF tries to visit as many places as they can, I'm sure West Vriginia isn't high on the priority list. You've also got to look at the location. Geographically speaking, it isn't very close to other major cities that would be capable of holding back to back TV's along with West Virginia. I'm sure they'll make it down there eventually, but right now there are other places to go and West Viriginia will have to wait patiently in line.

First of all, I really like your site. It helps me get my WWF fix on the off-days.

I seem to recall that 7-Up pulled their advertising from WWF tv programming. However, I was watching "South Park" on Comedy Central the other night and I saw a 7-Up commercial, as well as them being a major sponsor for a "South Park" voting thing where viewers pick the re-run episodes. By the way, for those who do not know, "South Park" is perhaps the most foul-mouthed and religiously offensive show on television, not to mention that it is a cartoon and the most foul-mouthed character is a 7-year old.(Not that I'm slamming South Park, remember I said I was watching it) Makes you wonder what the hell 7-Up isthinking....

P.S. Any chance of getting the WWF to start airing shows 7 days a week? Just a thought...

Hypocricy? In this day and age? You're kidding. The PTC is basically attacking the WWF because the WWF is so popular right now. Why fight the minor battles when you can make a name for yourself and create some controversy and grab a major headline? I'm sure if this were 1998 and the South Park craze was in full swing, while the WWF was drawing somewhat lower national numbers, the PTC would be on South Park's asses instead. I still say this: "If you don't like what's on your TV, then change the damn channel!" It's not hard.

Hey rajah & kayfabe, I have a great idea for the main event at WrestleMania 2001. It might be a tough one to pull off, but I know every rajah.com fan would love to see it. A main event match between...The pole-vaulting Rajah vs the glue-sniffing Kayfabe. As much as you two bicker back and forth on your website, I think this needs to be settled once and for all, in the ring, an WM17. Think you could pull this one off???

There's no doubt I could pull it off, but I don't know if Rajah would be up to it. Main event is pushing it a little, but I'm sure we could put forth a stellar free for all match, the workrate of which that would rival that of the epic "Huckster vs. Nacho Man" match from prior to Wrestlemania XII. Seriously though, I've got at least *** in me. I'm sure I could carry Raj to a decent match, where I would of course beat him 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring.

when if ever can we expect a tour for the thousands of irish wwf fans

Never. Or at least it seems that way. In the mid-90's the WWF would tour Europe whenever they could, but now in the year 2000 with two TV shows to tape every week, it seems impossible to find time to do any sort of European tour again. At this point, they can barely make it to England for one show a year. I suggest making your voice heard by encouraging all your friends to write to the WWF and let them know you want them to come to Ireland.

how big is the big shows penis?

You'd have to ask Rajah about that one.

I'd only know because Kayfabe keeps showing me the videotape over and over again. I'm telling you, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with this kid.

i recently read your latest mailbag and a question asked about whether or not Shawn Michaels was involved in the screwjob with Bret Hart, you said in your opinion Michaels was in on it. If you have read Mick Foelys book, he talks about the incident and says that Shawn was herd ssaying "i dont want the fucking belt this way" which clearly points to him not being involved. I know that you dont like shawn and i think you allowed this to cloud your judgement. oh yeah by the way great site u got here.

Rajah said that last issue, just to clarify. In response to Foley's book: Obviously Michaels is going to say that right after the event happens and there's dozens of people around! It's just like if he said it in the ring. Just because the fans don't see what goes on backstage doesn't mean people don't exist back there. If he left the ring upset, but started laughing it up the second he got behind the curtain, then obviously all his peers would know he was in on it, and word would leak out that he was fine with winning the Title that way. Why should his words be any different backstage than in the ring? And for the record, I happen to like Shawn, and I'm pretty sure Rajah does too.

Hi Rajah & Kayfabe, I just wanted to know why when someone is badly injured as part of an angle, JR or Michael Cole always says they have been taken to a "local medical facility". This really gets on my nerves - Don't you have hospitals in America or what?

No, haven't you heard? Hospitals are out, medical facilities are in.

Why the hell do all these assholes take advantage of your mailbag? You ask them and ask them to only send one question per e-mail and it's even in the rules! I love the mailbag but get sick and tired of people with 4, 5, even 10 questions per e-mail! MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE!

Note to readers: Read the above and obey.

From Jason, Hey some guy in the mailbag said that at Wrestlemania 13 Austin hit himself with a blood packet. I watched it and just wanted to say this is untrue. I have read at several different sites, reliable ones like Rantsylvania that the blood packet is the most ludicrous thing ever. I agree wrestlers bleed 1 of 2 ways. Blading, you know what that is, and hardway, by drawing the blood the old fashioned way. I did however see Austin take something out of Shamrocks hand during the part where he supposedly took the packet. It was small cause he slid it out with 2 fingers and Shamrock held his hand open and didn't clutch it. It was the blade. When he hits himself in the head he is smearing the blood. Look that blood is smeared. And he couldn't have held it all throughout the match cause he did things that required two hands free. Plus you can clearly see a small cut dripping blood when he is in the sharpshooter. Lawler had nothing to do with anything he was just picking up something off the ground. Once again, Wrestlemania 13 Austin bladed, Shamrock gave him the blade, he was smearing the blood not hitting himself with a packet. Man blood packets, I wonder who started that nasty rumor. Sorry for the length but I wanted to put this to rest and show that guy the error of his ways.

Yes, obviously blood packets are never used in wrestling matches. Rajah probably didn't pick that one up last issue, but what else is new. Wrestlers blade and sometimes inadvertantly bleed 'hardway', as you said. Blood packets do not exist in wrestling, and anyone that tells you otherwise is either lying or has been grossly misinformed.
