rajah.com Mailbag
-By Kayfabe and Rajah

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:

Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW

Hey, I read somewhere that HBK Shawn Michaels is the WWF's Grand Slam Champion. I'm probably wrong, but I thought I heard somewhere that the Grand Slam Champ is a person that's won the World, InterContinental, European and Tag Team Championships. Since I'm probably wrong, could you please tell me what the Grand slam champion is? Thanks. ALL HAIL KAYFABE!

You're right- that is the WWF's version of the "Grand Slam". Michaels has held all the aforementioned Titles at one time or another.

Regarding what you said about wrestlers NEVER blading when it is a facial cut outside of the mouth, never is a pretty strong word. It seems to me that Austin almost never really blades. I didn't think he did in the First Blood match with Kane when Kane won the title, and I know he didn't in a match that I don't remember exactly when it was or against whom. In that match, he fell down on the outside of the ring and blatantly reached into a bucket under the ring and dipped his hand in and then wiped his face with the fake blood. It was blatant because he spilled the bucket and it looked really bad when it spilled. Whattya say?

Since I don't know the particular event, it's impossible to argue specifics, but let me reinforce that every time you see a wrestler bleed from the face, he has bladed. These myths about crushing capsules against your head and reaching into a "blood bucket" (?!) just don't have any merit to them.

Hey Kayfabe, Someone asks you what your favorite finisher is; you name a couple, including Christian's impaler. Then a couple questions later you say that Edge stopped using the Downward Spiral because (among other reasons) it makes no sense for a tag team member to use a single's finisher. Then why does Christian have/use a finisher? Also, what the hell is the Impaler? I can't remember him ever using it, or at least the announcers acknowledging it. And if tag members shouldn't have individual finishers (ignoring the fact that both the Hardyz do, because they are the greatest tag team in the WWF), why does Christian have one? I'm starting to wonder if Rajah or Kayfabe really isn't just Christian, using a website to build his own career (even though there's about ten months between Christian's debut and the website starting).

As good as Christian is, Edge has ring presence that Christian will never have as long as they're a tag team. Christian needs to be in a singles match to stand out. End of story.

But it doesn't matter because the Hardyz are better than them anyway.

First off, I don't recall stating that it's dumb for a tag team to use a singles' finisher in reference to Edge & Christian, because E & C don't use the Downward Spiral as their finisher. Christian, at one time, like Edge, was a singles wrestler, which is why he has a finisher. He doesn't really use it much anymore, but once inawhile he'll pull it out because it's much easier to incorporate into a reversal sequence than Edge and his weak downward spiral. Kind of like Matt Hardy's Twist of Fate: It's easy to set up, and it's an impact move. If you've never seen Christian use his finisher, then I don't know where you've been. It's common name is the "tomikazee", but it was dubbed the Impaler to go with his former Brood character. I don't know what Edge has that Christian doesn't. To me, they both have a great ring presence, and both have all the tools to succeed. The Hardyz just might be better than Edge & Christian... but we wouldn't know how they feel because they aren't allowed to talk, are they?

Is it me or is WCW trying to mold Booker T into the second-coming of the Rock? He has a catch-phrase that goes as follows: "Don't hate the player, hate the game." I was wondering if you thought that the reference to "hating the game" might be a subtle jab at Triple H since it has been well-documented on this site that Triple H has had problems with WCW wrestler, Goldberg?

I doubt it's a jab at HHH. Just a catchphrase they're trying to market. I think you're just reading a little too much into it.

In your most recent mailbag, a fan stated that Triple H and The McMahons both grew up Greenwich, CT. Well, I can prove that wrong. Triple H grew up in Massachussetts, in the Boston area. I live in a small town in Mass, and I have many magazines that stat he is from the Boston area. He graduated from Killer Kawalski's school in Reading, Mass. Obviosly, his gimmick was a snob back in the mid 90's, and where do most of the snobs in a America come from? Point made, from Greenwich, CT! He was know as the man with a silver spoon in his mouth. Anyway, I hope that fan doesn't feel like such an idiot now.

Yep, you're right. Of course, the Greenwich background was all about his gimmick at the time. I answered that HHH certainly didn't know the McMahon's as a child, and you're right, the fact that he didn't even grow up in Connecticut supports that.

Hey guys just wanna congratulate you on a great site. The question is...me and my brother have a £50 bet (Yes I live in Liverpool, England..POP) that Austin's first defeat on TV was on Superstars against The Carribean Kid who was unmasked as Savio Vega afterwards (My pic) and my brother reckons it was the normal Savio Vega who beat him. Can you settle our bet? Also, I'm going to Sheffield for the UK PPV and I wanna know is it alright to take a rajah.com sign?

Hate to break it to you, but you lose. Savio Vega was never unmasked at any time. The character debuted as a friend of Razor Ramon and began wrestling under the name Savio Vega. He never wrestled as the Carribean Kid and was unmasked as Vega. So Austin was wrestling Vega, not the Kid.

rajah.com signs are welcome and encouraged anytime, anywhere. The more, the better. Hell, you don't even have to be at a wrestling show, you can just walk down the street holding one. It's the hip thing to do.

Hey Rajah and Kayfabe, GREAT SITE! Probably the best WWF Site I've been to. Anyway, I read a question in the last mailbag (Mailbag #29 I think) where someone said that no former WWF Champion has won a lesser title (European or Intercontinental) aftre they've won the WWF Championship. Well just wanted to say that didn't Shawn Michaels win the WWF Title and then win the European championsip AFTER he won the title? Please answer this in the mailbag. THANX

I think Rajah said that, and I'm not even sure of the context it was in. It was probably an offhand minor oversight. Yes, Michaels won the European Title. Pedro Morales also won the Intercontinental Title after winning the WWF Title.

Ok, I have tried several 204398520981 times, and had no luck in getting in the mailbag...so I'm going to come out...and say it...I AM CARRYING RAJAH'S BABY...THATS RIGHT!!! RAJAH, YOU SICK BASTARD, YOU'RE THE FATHER, AND LEAVING THE HOTEL ROOM THAT NIGHT WAS THE WORST THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE!!!!............Wow, now that THAT'S out of the way, I have a question on Video Games...WRESTLING Video Games...Would they ever make a wrestling game in 1st person perspective?...Well, Thats all for now...but PLEASE PLEASE!! PUT ME IN THE MAILBAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Ps-I'm a regular at the old Board of Raj's

PSS-Rajah is the father of my baby

PSSS-Weakner, My Place, 7pm, friday..

Aw gee, forget that last part...teehee

For those that don't know or couldn't tell, "Mankind" is a crazy, yet lovable, psychotic, imaginative soul with a great sense of humor. But you probably already figured that out. I'm not a video game expert, so I really don't know if that's even a possibility, but advancements are always being made, so if I had to guess I would say that I predict someday first perspective wrestling games will become a reality.

Do you have any new info on Droz? Is he in rehab now and have you herd anything about him being able to wrestle again? Any info you have would be great, thank you.

Droz is unfortunately still paralyzed and sadly, it's looking like he'll never be able to wrestle again. Right now, the biggest obstacle for him to overcome is walking, so obviously wrestling is not an option. He has started writing a column at WWF.com which you can check out here.

Rajah, Kayfabe kudos on the amazing site. You guys totally wreek of awesomeness!! Totally!! Anyways onto my Question I was wondering in mailbag 29 there was a question about blood capsuls and blading. I was wondering what is blading I have an idea but i would like it to be cleared up for me. It would be great to see this in the mail bag. Thanx alot!

Taken straight from here, blading is "when a wrestler cuts himself during a match to shed blood with a razor blade, which is usually hidden in the tape wrapped around their wrists."

From: Chris
What do both of you think the best finishing move in the WWF is? We all know Kayfabe loves the Stinkface and (say it together now) W-O-R-M! but how about good ol Raj?

That was a cheapshot, Chris. Lucky for you I'll answer anyway. I think the best finisher in the WWF is... The Pedigree. That, the Crossface, and Christian's Impaler.
