rajah.com Mailbag
-By Kayfabe and Rajah

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:

Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW

I've been a WWF fan for over 3 years now, and honestly, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. The past couple of weeks, I've been watching it less and less, and soon I know I'm not going to do watch it ever again. I tune in every Monday Night for Raw Is War, and I always watch up to about 20 minutes, because of the bordem. Rock Vs. Triple H. WOW. Rock Vs. Benoit HOW MUCH TIMES DID WE SEE THAT? Undertaker Vs. Kane GIVE ME A BREAK. The WWF just has been repeating match, just was a different angle. So what can the WWF do to get my attention back?

To each his own. If you've been a fan for years, then I don't know why you're getting bored all of a sudden. HHH, Austin, Rocky, Angle, Foley, Taker, Jericho, Benoit, The McMahons, Edge & Christian, The Hardyz- these are reasons to watch the show. Great stroies, great wrestling, great characters. I don't see the problem.

In mailbag 28, you said that Droz was paralysed after an accident in a match with D-Lo Brown, but you didn't go into detail about what happened... Also, which event was it at?

October 5th, 1999, Smackdown Taping at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. Droz vs. D'Lo Brown. D'Lo goes for his trademark running powerbomb, but botches it and Droz lands on his neck. He is paralyzed, and has remained so ever since. It was one of the more tragic wrestling stories to occur in recnt years, and we still send out our best wishes to Droz in his attempt at recovery.

High Rajah. Great site! My question:Was it just me, or did the WWF try to incinuate that Lilian Garcia is a lesbian? It is just that I remember 2 instances- She was interviewing the Rock on the Smackdown! before Unforgiven. He asked her if she liked pie, and he said yes. Then, he said "I thought so". Of course, we all know what pie Rocky is referring to (Not apple, not peach, but poontang!). The second instance occured at Unforgiven or Sunday Night Heat right before it. She interviewd Mick Foley about his job as guest referee in the Angle/HHH match. He was talking about he had to control 2 stong, sweating men or something like that. Then, he asked if she could control herself in between to hot sweaty men. She said no, then Foley said "I thought so". That suggest's she does not like men! Well, tell me what you think!

I seriously doubt it. The Rock disses everyone. He outright abuses poor Kevin Kelley, but I don't think the WWF is actually trying to convince us that he's a hermaphrodite. And if she wouldn't be able to control herself between two men, wouldn't that make her heterosexual?

This is in response to the guy in mailbag #29 who was worried about Senator Lieberman entering the White House and destroying the WWF. I believe when it comes to the censorship issue, you must fear the REPUBLICANS more than anyone else. They are the creators of modern censorship and BUSH is the leader of the pack. The only reason Lieberman and the Democrats are taking the censorship stance is so they can get votes. Simply put, the Democratic party SOLD OUT to kiss the ass of the Republicans. Like you said Pete, they won't dare TOUCH the WWF. There would surely be a revolution of the sorts. This is why I'm a Green party member, because we (and the Libertarians) are the only people who see censorship as a direct violation of OUR rights. Unfortunately the MONOPOLIES which we call Democrats and Republicans don't see things that way. If Vince were smart he would have invited Ralph Nader and Harry Browne on the WWF programs. They would have given the truth about censorship and it would have been CLASSIC if RTC came out and heckled them. I guarantee you that if they wouldve been on the show, and SCOLDED RTC, Nader and Browne would go up in the polls at least 9%. Bush and Gore would have probably been booed out of the building, if the fans were to be smart, that is. Sorry for the MSNBClike political commentary. I just wanted to clear that up.

P.S.- I bet this is the first political commentary you've ever received on the WWF huh? Vote Nader!!!!

Hey, politics and intelligence in the Mailbag- you should know that has absolutely no place in here. Actually, that was kind of refreshing. The way it looks as I'm writing this, we won't know WHO is in office for awhile longer. As of now, there's no one in the White House but good old Bubba.

Hey, I was just wondering which wrestlers are really good friends with each other and which wrestlers just flat out hate each other?I heard Stone Cold doesn't like Jeff Jarrett, is that true?

Almost all of the wrestlers get along, and lots are friends. You have to remember that these guys are on the road with each other 200+ days a year, and they often see each other more than their families. They bond. Good real life friends in the WWF right now? All the Radicals. Trips and X-Pac. X-Pac and Road Dogg. Trips and Chyna (they're dating). Edge, Christian & Val Venis. Snow and Foley. Foley and Austin. Foley and Taker. Mideon and everybody. Like I said, almost everyone gets along. It's true that Austin and Jarrett have a dislike for each other which stems from the fact that Austin refused to work with Jarrett last year and elevate him to the next level.

I'm a little confused. Last time I checked, Yokozuna only won the WWF title two times, but the WWF referred to him as a three-time champ before this Monday's RAW and on the WWF's tribute site: http://www.wwfsites.com/yokozuna/

Could the WWF be referring to Yoko's Tag Title win with the late great Owen Hart? Or did he have a third title reign that I never heard about? Rest in Peace Yoko and Owen -- the two of you will never be forgotten.

They're refering to the Tag Title reign.

What are the first few words in Triple H's entrance music? KIDDING!

OK, hasn't anybody noticed that X-pac's music has the f-word in it? I don't work for PTC but I think that is uncalled for.

I've noticed that too, and I don't think it's necessary, but he's used it for over two years now, and if nobody has brought anything up by now, I say let it be. Tame to some of the real "music" that's out there today.

Why did Sid Justice kick out of the Hogan leg drop at WrestleManiaVIII?

Some say it's because Papa Shango didn't make it down to the ring in time to interfere and interrupt the count, but I don't think that's the case. I think the DQ finish was booked as it was all along, and Shango was out right on cue. He didn't even appear in the aisle way until after the bell, and took his time getting to the ring, so I think he was right on time. Sid kicked out because that's how the match was booked. Hogan hit the Leg Drop, but it wasn't enough. Then Harvey Wippleman interfered and caused the DQ. It all set up the greatest ending in Wrestlemania history, as a returning Ultimate Warrior made the save to for his old friend Hogan.

Hey, I've sent in before. Now I know Ohio Valley Wrestling is a minor organization, but I want to know, will OVW ever come to England?

Nope. They're strictly a regional territory which means they wrestle only in the Ohio valley area in the middle of the U.S. They'll never make it to New York, let alone England.

Hi "Kayfabe Pete" & Rajah,

Love the site!

Whatever happened to the Likely Lads? Oops wrong question! I meant to say whatever happened to Curtis "Jericho's Bodyguard" Hughes? Is he down in Memphis/ Ohio ?

How come when I'm in the middle of a crowd and I shout "3D!" at the top of my voice all I get is silence and strange looks yet when the Dudleyzzzz Boyzzzzz do it everyone shouts "3D3D3D3D3D" back at them?

Everybody knows that "Kayfabe Pete" was a regular poster at the Old Message Board, in fact if posts were women (or men) he would be a regular Don Juan, but he never posts at the new boards? Why is this? Some people (not me) say its because he lost his "Fisher Price: My first book of wrestling". Other people (but not me of course) say its because he's lost his nerve and he is now what is known in the posting circles as a "has been". And a third CRAZY INSANE group (but DEFINITELY not me) say its because his computer doesn't display Coolboards properly. So which is it?

Thanks, laterz.

hipp

I believe Hughes was cut by the WWF last year. He might be bouncing around in the midwest territories, but I'm not sure. I'm not nearly as active in the message board community as I once was, basically beacuse of a lack of time. It is true that Coolboards gives me a lot more problems than Sportsonly did, but basically it's a time issue, and by now I'm out of the loop anyway. I have made a few appearances at the new new boards, but I'm even starting to slack there too.

Hey Kayfabe... Major props to you, Raj, and the rest of the crew. I love the site; I visit at least twice a day. Anywayz, this doesn't really pertain to wrestling. In the last mailbag, you responded to someone with simply, "OK, terrific!" You then said in another response in that same mailbag that you lived in Jersey. I was just curious, do you listen to Opie and Anthony on 102.7?

Now, for my real question, this is the more crucial one that I hope can be answered... Does the site by any chance have somewhere in the files the Raw Report the day after Owen Hart passed away? If not, do you know of a site where I would be able to get it? Thanks!

Yeah, I listen to O & A on occasion. Too bad they'll never get syndicated for the rest of the country to hear. As for the RAW is Owen report, we don't have it archived, but I can direct you to one here.

Ok, i gotta get this off my chest.........I don't understand why you think that the x-factor is so underrated. IT SUCKS. You dogged Edge's move "the downward spiral" cause you said all he does is "fall down". Thats the same thing x-pac's move does. These should not be finishers. Let's review all the move's that just make a person "fall down" ---russian leg sweep, clothesline, boot to the face, leg sweep...etc. If the x-factor can be considered a credible finishing move, then so should all of these...CAUSE THEY DO THE SAME THING

I've explained this before. The X-Factor, when executed properly, is one of the better looking finishers in the WWF. The impact is strong. I liken it to Jake "The Snake" Roberts' DDT. It came out of nowhere and resulted in his opponents' head striking the mat with a devestating velocity. Now that the DDT has become commonplace, the X-Factor is almost like the 2000 version of Jake's finisher. He can hit it out of nowhere, and it's a major impact move that should knock almost anyone out. Edge's downward spiral (I don't even know why we keep arguing about that one since he doesn't even use it anymore, thus nullifying any point this conversation might have) is totally different. He executes it from a vertical base and the impact isn't on the head, it's on the whole front of the body. It also doesn't have nearly the amount of impact, and is basically a glorified Russian Leg Sweep. X-Pac doesn't just "fall down", he leaps up three feet into the air and drives his opponents' face straight into the mat. I'm sorry, but that's a good finisher and you won't convince me otherwise.

If an event is on a Saturday when does it air and also what is a Come Get Some event?

It's a house show. It doesn't air on TV. Come Get Some is just a catchy name since there's no real name to call it. For example, in 1994 I went to a house show that was part of the "Hart Attack Tour".

Hmmm...I don't know if I agree with your answer that Chyna is a born woman. Her voice is EXACTLY like a man taking female hormones. And, C'mon, look at those hands and that face. All I have to say is MAN. Where do you get your info anyways? I'd believe she was born a woman if I saw proof of that fact? Can you get some of that for us? Like childhood photos or something?

Talk about a total 180, now I, the original Chyna basher, am actually about to defend her. I know you're just trying to be funny, but you're not, and enough is enough. Call her a man, ha ha ha, never heard that one before. Maybe in 1997 you'd have a valid point, but she's become a sex symbol now. We all know she's a woman, and I don't see the point of trying to say mean things about her. She's a friendly person, and it's childish to insult her based on her looks.
