rajah.com Mailbag
-By Kayfabe and Rajah

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:

Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW
Vegas - AQUA

Hi agian, the site is getting better everyday, u guys rule! Anyway as an avid fan of the Undertaker for 10 years now one of his better feuds came agaisnt Giant Gonzales during the 93 season,i know all the history behind it and im just wondering why the WWF put the Giant in a R.I.P during Summerslam where he lost and therefore retired from WWF, didnt the WWF want to keep him longer or was there a problem with his health or did him and the WWF fall out. Do you know? Personally i would have loved to see a match agianst him and Paul Wright!

The plan all along was for him to be brought in for the sole purpose of feuding with the Undertaker. After that feud was ended, I'm not sure they ever intended to keep him around. The guy was pretty bad in the ring, and his height really limited his opponents' offense. Nobody besides the Undertaker would really benefit from wrestling him. I think that after the Undertaker feud, he wanted to leave wrestling anyway. He is said to have walked away from the industry, tired of beating treated like a sideshow attraction (which is how he was treated). He never really was a wrestler in the true sense of the word. He was used by WCW and the WWF only because of his height. I think his parting with the WWF was mutual. He wanted to get out, and they didn't need him to stick around.

Hey guys, great site...

I don't usually pick up on things like this....but in the last Mailbag, Kayfabe said that Alex Wright had never been with the WWF... I myself am pretty sure that he has been, as I remember him dancing stupidly to the ring in bright orange trunks. In this match, he wrestled against Grandmaster Sexay...or as he was known at that time "Brian Christopher"

To help your memories, this was during the WWF's promotion of the then "new" Lightwieght division... Sorry to be pedantic, but I thought I'd let you know :P

P.S. Taka Michinoku ROCKED back then!

I don't know who you're talking about, but I don't think it's Alex Wright. I could be wrong, but I"m pretty sure he never appeared in the WWF. The guy you're remembering could have been any of the light heavyweights that the WWF recruited for their division. Could have been anyone from Devon Storm to Scott Taylor.

Hey guys, whats up? Ok i just have one question/comment to make. Just a few minutes ago i was reading the mailbag & i cam across this:

From: Matt
hey guys whats going on! first off you guys have the best site around blah blah blah.....stop blushin dudes....u know your cool. just outta curiousity...u know what u guys should do! this whole web site thing could be a toatal chik magnet! girls love a man who can manage his own shit....so whynot show a hot young chik your guys website sometime. hey.....you got nothing to lose and it'lldefinetly be a turn on. if she doesn't find it interesting then forget it and just give her roses or something as a back-up-plan. either way you score. good luck!!! you'll thank me later! heh heh just messin. keep up the good work guys!

All i wanna say about that is that you would be suprised at how many girls are fans of the wwf. i myself am a girl and a long time fan. i've been watchin since i was 4 years old. So before you start thinking that girls don't know that much about the biz, just remember that there are some of us out there who are just as big of fans as all of you guys out there! Also my question is when do you (raj, kayfabe, vegas whoever is reading this) think that stephanie & triple h are gonna end their "marriage" or do you think they ever will? sooner or later there gonna have to.... thanks 4 reading

Oh, believe me, I know it. I'm always surprised by the number of letters I get from females. Even if most of them are about how cute Test is or if Chyna and Triple H are *really* going out... just kidding guys, er... girls.

As for Trips and Steph, I suspect that it will end eventually. It's inevitable. It's hard to say when, but I'd give it maybe until the end of the year. When something is a success, you ride it for all it's worth, and then you turn it around and get rid of it and make something out of that. It's all part of the process.

From: My Friend and I
Yo Rajah and Kayfabe, that other guy too... I guess. My friend, and I have been fighting over this question for weeks now. He thinks that Triple H is gonna go face, and he'll fight Austin at SummerSlam for the Title. Meanwhile I think that Trips will stay IC champ for a while, then he'll help SCSA to keep the belt at the next couple of PPV's and then they'll build an all superior group kinda of like the corporation. Thanx for your help, and great site, visit twice a day sometimes three.

Well, my answer obviously can't be a factual one, but in my opinion, I think we'll see Triple H turn face eventually. It might not happen until two months down the road, but I think it's a given that it will happen. I don't see Austin and Triple H staying on the same team, so to speak, in the long term (ie most of the year). With the Rock out, the heels have way too much of an advantage right now.

Hey Guys,
First of all I just wanted to say you've got the best wrestling site on the 'net. Secondly could you please clear up a little argument my friends have been having. The question is: Who out of all CURRENTLY contracted wrestlers in the WWF has wrestled for the longest with the WWF (NOT including WCW, indys etc.)? One of my friends says it's The Big Bossman and the other says it's Undertaker.

The Undertaker has been there for the most consecutive time. Boss Man was in the WWF two years before Taker was, but left the WWF in 1993 and didn't return until 1998.

From: Ryan
Hey Kayfabe, I was reading your answer to the question about why HHH went over Austin at No Way Out and to me the only part that doesn't make sense is Austin being the "underdog" to the Rock because of his injury. Only a true mark would believe Austin to be the "underdog" because if you heard the crowd(yes I know it was in Texas) they clearly were looking at Austin as the favorite. But I do however agree that HHH needed the victory more than Austin did. I thought it worked out well in creating the heat between UT and HHH for their battle at WM-X7 by having the Game win. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents anyway.

By underdog I meant more like "challenger". If Austin had won two huge straight PPV matches, then he wouldn't have had much left to prove. But by jobbing to Triple H, it showed that he wasn't on top, and that he still had to scratch and claw and do everything possible to get back to the top. That wouldn't have seemed so necessary if he'd been walking all over the competition in the two months prior to Wrestlemania.

hey guys, the site is awesome! keep up the good work! my question is wha t happened to ahmed johnson? he was a monster in his day, and one of my favourite wrestlers when he was still in the wwf. I stopped watchin wres tling from about march 1996 until summer 1998. Did he work for wcw? Im s ure I remember seeing him when Vince Russo made his wcw debut and he had all the wcw guys in and around the ring as he made this long speech abo ut where the wcw was headed under his power or something. Please tell me ! Also, Id just like to say that Xpac and Val Venis are the two most und erutilized guys in the wwf, particuarly venis. Ok, please put this quest ion up, cuz its the 1st one Ive ever sent you. Cheers, all the way from England!

He was cut from the WWF because he proved to be very injury prone and was always getting hurt. He was also hurting other guys in the ring to boot, and his popularity soon started to fade, so the WWF cut their losses and let him go. He resurfaced in WCW breifly last year, but had gained a lot of weight and never really got over.

From: Philip "Reeker of Awesomeness" Pangrac
Hey, wanna hear something cool? In my Experience the Arts Textbook (a college course, BTW) it talks about Michelangelo at one point and says "His style-sometimes referred to by the Italian term terribilita (literally awesomeness)-yada yada yada." How cool is it that the word 'awesomeness' is used in a college text book?

And Pete, great job on the PPV flashbacks. Having not grown up watching the WWF, it's a great to be able to follow the storylines this way and learn more about the feuds and such of yesteryear. The Roberts/Savage feud going on "right now" sounds incredible; that promo of Jake's after the match at Tuesday in Texas left me wide-eyed thinking "Damn", and I was just reading a quote, not hearing the actual thing! Maybe you could include some audio files as well, but you probably got enough on your hands.

Awesomeness. Thanks for the props on the Flashbacks. I'd love to include more in the way of pictures or audio files, but I don't really have the time, and I don't think the WWF likes pages using sounds from their tapes. However, I do recommend that for pictures of a certain event, everyone should just head on over to that PPV's official WWF site (www.wwfroyalrumble.com, www.wwfsummerslam.com, etc.), then click on history, pick a year, and view some pictures from the event.
