| rajah.com Mailbag, Edition #3b |
Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section myself for the time being. Right now, with me being out of school, I believe I can consistently update this section at least once a week. If I do need help with it, I'll be sure to select one or two individuals to assist me.
Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:
1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II.
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to Rajah_WWF@Hotmail.Com. Please try to keep it short, since if it is too long, it will be prone to editting.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
IMPORTANT!!!
If you have anything to add to any of these questions/comments or even my remarks, please email me. I'm not claiming that all my info is correct, as I'm sure
that some of it is inaccurate as well. PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS ABOVE AND NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE EMAIL ADDRESS!!!
From Lenny aka The Big Lenbowski
Hey Rajah, just want to start off by saying you have a great web page!! I dont
think anyone else can even compare to the great work u put into ur page. keep
up the good work. now onto the questions
1- since the big bossman is such a big time heel right now do u think he will
go back to his old gimmick of the late 80's early 90's when he wore the blue
shirt, black pants, bigass sunglasses and was a face??? I think he was so
great back then and the fans were really behind him
2- i remember a couple of years back Vince had some sort of Steriod court
case going on and is it true that some of his own wrestlers said he offered
them steriods. I think one wrestler was the warlord.
3- how come the wwf cant do nudity on american P-P-V but can do it on England
P-P-V. I mean they show movies on ppv that contain nudity here in the states
so why cant they show it when the wwf does it?
1. I doubt it, but when I first heard that Bossman signed with the WWF, I was praying that he would return with his old gimmick. It didn't happen and is a longshot to transpire now.
2. Yeah, it's true. I don't recall the wrestlers' name, but Vince was indicted. However, the courts found him and Titan Sports not guilty on all charges.
3. The British cable laws are a lot more lenient towards PPV nudity. It's because of national laws in the US, that the WWF is not able to show any significant nudity on their broadcasts. However, I'm not a specialist on American
broadcasting rules (I'm Canadian), so I probably am as in the dark as you are.
1) is it just me or do the hardy boyz remind you alot of the rockers
2)do you think bret hart caan swallow his pride and return to the wwf and if
so would the fed want him
3)what does jimcornette actually do. is he a booker?
1. Yeah, they do. A lot.
2. Yep, I think so. I think both Vince and Bret would be willing to let their past differences go if there even was one...actually, I won't get into that.
3. He is a booker, but his last angle (the NWA thing with Severn, Windham and the Midnight Express) bombed miserably. Now he is handling the WWF's training camps with Danny Davis. He still has some limited say in the angles though.
From Ed McGrogan (a.k.a. Eddie McG):
Hey Rajah, you have the best damn WWF site on the internet. Was the WWF
actually trying to make Sable a heel (and still is maybe). Jim Ross
continually said this "new attitude" of Sable during the beginning of Nicole
Bass' (a.k.a. UGLY ASS) stint as her bodyguard. During the times last year
with Fully Loaded and with "Not So Marvelous" Marc Mero, I looked forward to
Sable every night on TV. Now, it's seen it all, this new angle sucks.
Also, wouldn't it be great to see the Mega-Powers reform, leave WCW and come
back to the severly depleted tag team division in the WWF? It probably
won't ever happen, but imagine the ratings (that's to you Vince)!
Yes, they were and still are, probably in large part to her change in attitude in real life. It's not so much as making her "bad", just making her similar to her off-screen persona. Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan probably would NEVER accept a role in the tag team division. Unfortunately, they want to me main eventers and that's why WCW is probably where they will finish off their careers. I hope I'm wrong though.
Hey Do you ever think that Chyna will get a push in the Men's Division? Perhaps maybe even to the World Title ranks? By the way, You have the best site on the internet.
That is an interesting question. I have noticed that Chyna has been hinting an awful lot at that and at one time after I actually saw her say she would be champ, she back-peddled and said that she would win a title with Triple H. So based on that, I say surely could be WWF champ one day.
From cutehus:
In your last mailbag report, you mentioned Shawn Micheals and Razor Ramon
were involved in the "Syracuse Incident". What exactly is the Syracuse
Incident?? Please put this in the mailbag.
Alright, I wasn't going to put this in the Mailbag, but I've already had this question pop up four times already. Everyone who wants to know about The Syracuse Incident, please refer to the FAQ Part I for details. I didn't write all that up for myself. Just read it! If it's not there, try the FAQ Part II. I know I mentioned it somewhere.
From ACD:
raj whats up just wanted to drop a line on the nightmare danny davis his
school is in jeffersonville
IN. he has a 1yr $300 course and the career option
which is 2-3 yrs runs $1000. danny himself is one
of the instructors in the biz .
ps never ask if wrestling is fake, and never quite a
match an try to walk out of the ring
Okay, I won't ask.
First off, I just want to say I love your site. It's a great way to
feed my wrestling addiction inbetween Mondays.
Next, I was reading the Mailbag and noticed a question about Hawk
falling off the Titantron. My cousin was at the event in the nosebleed
section behind the Titantron. He said that Hawk fell into some sort of box
and threw a dummy over.
I would also like to comment on the current DX. I loved Billy Gunn
except for when he talked, but I can't stand the Road Dogg or X-Pac. The RD
has no wrestling talent except that he can work the mic. I hate the shimmy.
X-Pac has talent but should not be in the heavyweight division. I can never
understand how the WWF thinks it's plausible for him to win. I hate the
Bronco Buster. I also think that once X-Pac and Kane lose their titles the
WWF will kind of "forget" that they were partners. This situation happened
when Mankind acted like he was with DX but once he won the title nothing ever
happened.
I don't mind Road Dogg, but X-Pac is not my favorite wrestler by any strech of the imagination. He is talented, I'll admit, but something about him drives me nuts. He seems like one of those guys you just love to beat up. I also fail to understand how "almost" rubbing your genitalia in another male's face makes for such an electrifying move. I guess that's my beef with X-Pac.
From Buddy:
Just a couple of comments. First of all Kane(Glen Jacobs) Is
31 yrs old, married with 2 step-daughters. Second, the WWF did indeed have
another belt, however it was called the JR. Heavyweight belt, and if I am
correct, Tatsumi Fujinami was one of the last holders of it. It is now
incorporated in the "J" Crown of 9 title belts that Ultimo Dragon held at one
point.Just wanted to pass that along. By the way, Bastion Booger(Mike Shaw)
has his own wrestling school, If you can believe that shit!
Thank you for the information.
From Mary:
1) I read somewhere that Shane and Shawn Michaels don't like each other in real life. Is this true and it if it is what is the reason?
2) How much do wrestlers get paid? I know it depends on the fed their in and how important they are, but on average, how much do they make?
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
1. I heard that too, but there's no way anyone can be sure unless the WWF comes out and says so, which they never will do.
2. The base salary starts at $50,000/year for the infrequently used jobbers to upwards of $2million/year for the superstars. The main eventers, also
get a chunk of merchandise sales. The highest paid wrestlers currently are Steve Austin, Bret Hart and Hollywood Hogan. All three make around $5million/year on average
when everything is factored in.
From Neil:
To clear up the 1-2-3 kid situation :
Waltman first wrestled as a jobber, named The Kimakaze Kid. He then
changed name to The Cannonball Kid and after jobbing a few matches, he
snatched a lucky win over Razor Ramon. He then changed name again to The
1-2-3 Kid and went on to wrestle Kerry Lawyer and DiBiase. Razor offered
him some insane amount of money for a rematch and they began a long
running feud.
I'm wondering if anyone else thinks that the WWF's Hardcore matches are getting repetitive and rather silly... Wrestler A grabs random object from underneath the wring and proceeds to batter Wrestler B with it. Wrestler A sets up a table. Wrestler B slams Wrestler A into said table. It was novel at first, but after seeing the same procedure week after week, it gets old rather quickly. Why are there hockey sticks and baseball bats underneath the ring in the first place?
Good question. Or here's one...what the hell are watermelons and other food items doing in and around ringside?
From The Predator:
Alright, this is my question. I, like you, live in Canada and suffer
from "no-ECW-itis" Well, I finally managed to get hooked up with the
two PPV's before Living Dangerously, and I got to tell you they kicked
my ass. I've never seen better wrestling, and I'm not making this up.
One guy that stood out in my memory is Rob Van Dam. He's so cool, I
mean he did a flying summersault splash and smashed into the guard rail,
then started braggin as he got up from what had to hurt like a bitch.
What I want to know is have WWF or WCW ever made any offers to Mr. Monday Night himself? I seriously think RVD is the most talented wrestler on the planet and he's definately over with fans. Does he just prefer it in ECW, or has he had poor relations with the big two in the past? In any case, I'm just wondering why "the whole fuckin show" isn't where he should be: on Raw every week where we can cheer as he leaps into the third row of the crowd!!!
RVD has been in both the WWF and WCW before, however, I'd assume he is under ECW contract and as a result, neither of the other organizations have a legal basis to even offer him a contract. That would probably bring on a tampering lawsuit from ECW. However, once his contract reaches the latter stages, I'm sure we'll hear some rumblings of either of the Big 2 wanting to acquire his services.
More clarifications on stuff from the last Mailbag:
1.) the bulldogs are not on speaking terms due to the fact that Dynamite kid left the U.S. to return to europe and japan to wrestle while bulldog stayed here for the money. basically they disaggreed with the others decision and took it very personally.
2.) the title elijojokokok was thinking of was the wwf junior heavyweight title frrom way back. it is now a part of the j crown in japan.
From: HARDCOREKID
hi rajah your site kicks ass. i just want to know if edge going to leave the brood and go for a singles run and is he going to get a title some time like the hardcore or the i-c belt thanx for reading this email.
Although to the best of my knowledge, Edge does not have a guaranteed title reign in his contract, it is highly likely that he will eventually wear federation gold. Along with Test and Val Venis, Edge is arguably the WWF's most promising stars. Couple that with his relatively decent mic skills, and a push for Edge will likely result towards the latter part of 1999 or early 2000. My guess is he will probably not go the Hardcore route, but a future I-C reign is probable. However, if this is to happen, Edge will most surely have to go off on a singles career, rather than be a secondary member of the Brood.
1) Are you expecting that Shane Douglas will sign with the WWF? And if he does so, do yuo think Francine will go with him?
2) Now, After the past week in professional wrestling it is my belief that Bret Hart and Vince mcMahon are in "Kahoots." It was debatable at first, but now I'm sure. After Goldberg Speared Hart a few weeks back, (when hitman had the metal plate under his shirt) we learned that Goldberg did in fact injure his shoulder. Now, again, Bret Hart puts Goldberg out of wrestling but this time it may be for quite sometime. Reports say 2 months. If you look at the chairshot closely at Slamboree, you can see Bret Hart was going for a kill! Theres no question in my mind that he is in "Kahoots" with Vinie Mac. Whats your take on the matter? Also, I dont know if they were works or not but lets not forget Bret Hart is well known for injuring wrestlers during his lame ass stay in WCW, Booker T, Macho Man etc etc etc....
3)Do you think Paul Wight is getting jobbed too much and is being pulled down?
4) Do you think Mankind will ever turn HEEL again?
5) Supposedly the WWF was gonna start a crusierweight division thanks to their new booker "The Red Rooster." LOL, do you still think they are gonna do it?
6) If RAW continue's to get more talent and start a new crusierweight division, will they finally get a 3 hour show?
1. I think Douglas will eventually sign with the WWF, but Francine will not accompany him due to a current contract binding her in ECW.
2. I don't think they are in cahoots as much as I would love to believe it. Bret Hart is acting out a script which is the last resort in getting him over with WCW.
3. No. Although he is losing quite a bit, the WWF has shaped him up to be quite a formidable wrestler. As far as I am concerned, his push hasn't even begun yet.
4. I have no idea. It all depends on how the storylines progress over this next year or so and who makes a face turn and who makes a heel turn. The WWF will do whatever it needs to set up marketable matches...well anything except turn Austin heel.
5. No, I don't think they will start it up anytime soon. Apparently, Terry Taylor denied rumors of the division of re-surfacing. If they do, I say Brian Christopher as the lightweight champ, hands down.
6. Hell no. The WWF is doomed if RAW goes three hours. They do not have the talent to produce a three hour show as well as their other weekly programming. If you need more proof of failure that a 3-hour show would bring, take a look at WCW.
Just a couple questions for ya! I was wondering if you knew where Ko Ko B Ware has gone to? On off the record, the Rock said that the black Blue Blazer was indeed him. Where has he gone to. I am a regular reader, please put this up on the board.
I do not know the whereabouts of Koko B. Ware. He might be participating in some of the independent promotions but I have heard that he is not in overly good health, so it may be that he is pretty much out of the wrestling spotlight.
From: Paul
Kick ass site, keep it up. I've actually only become a wrestling fanatic the last 5 months or so, but I consider my self a little knowledgeable. But I have to ask this question, although I think most "real" fans will want to tear me a new on (including you), here goes. Who is (was) Pillman? I hear his name all the time, and the only info I get is that he is passed or something. Please clarify.
Brian Pillman is a world-renowed wrestler who enjoyed great success in all three of WWF, WCW and ECW. He is well known as being Steve Austin's real life best friend and possibly the only person Austin actually got along with in the wrestling world. Pillman also is a good friend of the Hart Family and was a member of the Hart Foundation during their last tenure with the WWF. Many say Pillman was in the midst of his greatest career run in the WWF when a heart attack cut short his life just before a WWF PPV.
From: Chad Horne
I want to start by saying that I have only been a WWF fan for about a year and a half (which I know doesn't make me a "true" fan, but that's life), but I love your site. It's the only WWF site on the net that I regularly visit.
OK, on to my questions.
First, where do you get your info from? Some people have suggested that you just go around to other rumor sites and collect there stuff and compile it into a report, but I know you'd never do a thing like that. Obviously you don't have to go into detail, but how do you find out stuff like who's backstage at an event or what wrestler's contracts say?
Second, it really upsets me that the Rock is always playing second to Stone Cold. I know SCSA is a bigger face and for that reason the WWF has to use him to his fullest, but the Rock has proven (at least to me) that he is a main-eventer. What are your thoughts? What does the Rock have to do to earn a spot as #1 face? Sell more T-shirts?
This is just an aside, but have you noticed that Ken Shamrock has said "fuck" at a couple of PPV's and even at a RAW and it's made it on the air? It's usually in the middle of a match and evidently the censors are sleeping. (you have to listen closely) Do you think the powers that be at Titan don't care about that?
Finally, in one of your other Q&A's you said the FCC wouldn't allow nudity at a RAW or PPV. I was under the impression that they could show just about anything they wanted at a PPV. Isn't that the case?
Thanks again for one of the best sites on the net.
Basically, I love guessing the WWF's storylines. I use information from a variety of sources, some of which I named earlier. News is news and when it gets out (no matter who leaks it out), it is up to the individual webmaster to present it an interesting and professional manner. I guess you can say that is my forte.
If you compare The Rock to Steve Austin and other stars, the revelation is that he has NOT yet paid all his dues. Maivia is a very young wrestler and good things have happened to him quite early. The 90s belong to Steve Austin, but you as a Rock fan, have no need to worry, because "The People's Champ" will live well
into the 21st century, whereas at that time, Austin's career will probably be winding down relatively fast. Give it some time.
The WWF does not encourage blatant profanity online but if and when it does happen, there isn't much that can be done to remedy the situation. Perhaps, a light slap on the wrist is all that comes about from such an incident.
Technically speaking they can do whatever they want, but it is in the best interest of the WWF not to go too overboard on the nudity. Several of their sponsors could ultimately back away from the WWF's program, which is not a good thing if you're Titan Sports.
Rajah, you're site is the bomb. I visit at least once a day to see the updates. I have a couple questions and a comment. First, I dont like when people say, "that guy is a god wrestler." There are athletic wrestlers, but they don't actually wrestle. I don't know about other people, but I like the talking and the angles better than the actual wrestling. I think most people feel the same way. That's why I think WCW doesn't do well because they have 20 minute matches with 2 jobbers in it. Here are my questions: Is there a such wrestler that is in between a hell, and a face such a Jeff Jarett (I think he is heel?)? Hypethetically speaking, who do you think would be the best wrestler if the WWF was real? Why did the WWF make Billy Gunn a heel, I think nothing good could come out of that. Please put this in the mailbag.
More and more, the WWF is focussing and pushing the guy who can work the mic as opposed to someone who is a good technical wrestler. In the future, you will probably be seeing guys that have a good combination of both extremes holding the titles and getting the biggest responses. As for your questions, when a wrestler strays in between a face and a heel, he is called a "tweener". The Rock could be classified as a tweener up until a few weeks ago (when he turned into a full-fledged face) as he was being cheered despite being part of a heelish stable. Val Venis has also been labelled as a tweener, especially during his feud with Goldust a while back. If you're asking who would be the toughest to beat if wrestling was real, the answer is most likely Ken Shamrock, who is a legit shoot-fighter. And as for Billy Gunn, the WWF has long wanted to exploit Gunn's wrestling talent and he was made a heel so that an angle with D-X could start and because the WWF is lacking somewhat in the heel department at this moment.
From Anthony "Back Bone" Banks
when Stone Cold Steve Austin pops open a Steveweiser, is it really alcohol?
Yes, but it is "Coors Light" or something. Not the especially strong stuff.
From: Chortle
Hey Rajah, I have a question for you. What the hell has happened to the Oddities? Last time I saw them was,God knows, about a year ago?
Excuse me if I'm being ignorant or anything, but I can't find the answer anywhere!
Giant Silva and Kurrgan were sent down to Mexico to refine their wrestling skills, while Luna was/is suspended indefinitely. As a result, Golga had no storyline to play into and was released shortly thereafter. The Oddities no longer exist and probably will not be brought back, even when Kurrgan and Silva make their way back to the WWF.
Hey Raj, I was just wondering if you could answer these questions for me. 1) I here all these comments about Papa Shango possibly coming back to WWF, but isnt Papa Shango the Godfather? 2) Is the beer Austin drinks on raw real beer. I heard you are not allowed to drink an alcoholic beverage on natioal tv i recently heard it was your b-day a couple days ago so happy belated birthday. Thanx Raj
1. Yes, Godfather has previously played the character Papa Shango; however, the rumors seemed to indicate that the Godfather gimmick would be dropped and Papa Shango would return. It was not intended to mean that they both occur simultaneously.
2. The answer to this question was answered earlier. And it is true that the WWF is not allowed to show actual alcohol consumption on TV, which is why it looks like Austin spits half of his beer out. Shawn Michaels recently was accidentally taped taking a sip out of his can of beer, but the cameras caught the mistake and turned
away quickly. Michaels was told of his blunder backstage.
Hey Rajah......my husband and I are huge WWF fans.....and love discussing where the next plots will be going......and my husband is also a huge comic book fan who does indeed get the Undertaker Comic.....and in the WWF we know that no story line is destined to go down the path "we" always think it will....and the WWF says that there will definately be a lot more new talent coming up.......heres our thought........ The Undertaker has always said that he is answering to a higher power....which sure, could be Shane....Linda....Ultimate Warrior (god help us if that is the case) or Santa for all we know.....Well, in the comic the Undertaker is a "good" guy who fights against the "Embalmer" (ok, i do NOT have the comic right here...I can't tell if I spelled that right......bear w/ me)......so....what if this type of character was behind all this and as the story twists and turns the Undertaker thinks that him and the Embalmer are "working together" for one cause....CONTROL and low and behold the Undertaker has been tricked and the Embalmer is slowly working at getting the Corporate Ministry behind him..........meanwhile as the Undertaker realizes this.......he is S L O W L Y turning to the Union side and now the Undertaker has turned again.....and the WWF has a new EVIL force to reckon with.......JUST A THOUGHT AS USUAL......we are probably way off..........but its nice to pretend we work for the WWF creative team...ha ha ha..... What are your thoughts? Have you ever heard any rumblings like this out there? Keep up the great sight........
Yes, this has been suggested to me before, and I suppose we will ultimately find out tommorrow on Over the Edge or on RAW the night after. My only question is that the comic describes this character as 7', 450lb man. Who will play this role??? Unless, they totally ignore the physical dimensions of the "Embalmer"...
From:DK
1) Did Jake Roberts really create the DDT?
2) I know this might be more of a WCW question, but it's related to the first one. Did Jake Roberts train both Raven and Dallas Page? During their feud last year they alluded to it repeatedly, but there was no real definite answers given.
Thanks, and keep up the good work. I can't believe you do all this work without getting paid.
1. I don't believe he created the DDT. He just used it as his finisher, whereas others used it as a regular maneuver. I've never been able to figure this out...but how come when Jake did the DDT on someone, the guy would get knocked out cold, but whenever anyone else did it, the man would be up in mere seconds. I guess Jake had the "special touch".
2. I think it was just a part of the angle but I'm not sure, seeing as how I do not follow WCW storylines and have no idea when this occurred. However, from the details of your email, it sounds like something a promotion would pull for angle purposes.
BTW, I get paid a little bit, so it's not THAT bad...:)
I have a few questions for the mailbag that I have been curious about. Do Vince and Ted (Turner) have a past history of dealings/grumbles with eachother prior to Turner getting into the WCW? Did Turner ever make a bid to purchase the WWF from Vince? Seeing some of the interviews with Mc Mahon on A&E it led me to believe that they did. Can you confirm this or elaborate on it it further? Is Bischoff, for all intents and purposes, ultimately just a yes-man to Turner? Does he have any stake in the ownership of WCW or is he signed to a contract like all the rest of the talent in the WCW? When wrestlers take on "wrestling names" or "personas" does the company then hold the rights to that person's name? Unlike actors who take on different roles, unless you are type-cast like Mark Hamill, it seems as if a wrestler's name continues with them once the leave the ring and are in the public. Are there agreements that the wrestler would assume rights to the name in due time? Just curious. Does Austin hold the rights to the name Stone Cold Steve Austin or is that a license of Titan? This stuff can get real confusing very fast. I hope my questions make sense!
It makes sense I think. First of all, as far as I know Turner has not made any offer to buy the WWF from Vince McMahon (Rupert Murdoch has though). The ill feeling is that McMahon believes Ted entered the wrestling industry basically to put him out of business, since Turner has access to billions of dollars and has a lot of pull within the media markets. As far as Eric goes, he is under contract and holds no ownership of WCW. Ted Turner knows jack about wrestling, and Bischoff is his hired man to run the show and pull in the money, but unfortunately for them, it's not working all that well as of late. Wrestling names and gimmicks are a tricky subject. Most gimmicks are copyrighted by their respective promotions, however, there are a few that belong exclusively to the wrestler and/or an outside party. Bret "Hitman" Hart, Ultimate Warrior, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, "Franchise" Shane Douglas and Randy "Macho Man" Savage are among some of the gimmicks owned by the wrestler themself. Almost all the other gimmicks in the WWF are owned by Titan Sports as they are the ones to create and market the character likeliness. It is interesting to note that several legal disputes have occured over the rights to names, such as between the WWF and Ultimate Warrior, the WWF and Demolition, the WWF and Hulk Hogan. The latter name was eventually declared property of Marvel Comics, so both Terry Bollea (Hogan) and the WWF lost out. "Ravishing" Rick Rude and Ultimate Warrior, legally changed their names to that of their gimmicks, so that they could retain all rights.

Rajah, I got a couple questions about Ryan Shamrock. Are there 2 Ryan Shamrock's? The one in Val Venis's video looked different than the one that's been on television lately. If so, is either really related to Ken Shamrock? Also, I was wondering about "The Bushwackers?" Do you have any idea where Butch and Luke are now? Thanks, for you site. I've been a Rajah-fan for a couple of months now.
My brother also brought up this point that the very first time we saw Ryan Shamrock, she looked drastically different from the one we see now. However, I dont' have anything to prove that claim nor do I have anything to refute it. In either case, she is not really Ken's sister. Luke and Bush are in their late 50s/early 60s and have pretty much left the major promotions. They do occasionally pop up at some of the local cards to promote various events and to promote wrestling in general.

hey raj just wanted to say that i love your page and i've got one question for you remember the patriot, whatever happened to that guy last time i saw gim he was getting a big push and was in a fued with bret hart for the wwf championship,i thought he was great and had a lot of talent do you know where he is?
The Patriot suffered from a tricep injury in the midst of his push and it sidelined him for almost a year. During this time, the WWF chose to release him. He has been attempting a comeback, but it is unlikely that either the WWF or WCW will give him any type of serious look.
From: Trisha
Hey Raj, love the site, I check it out almost every day. Keep up the good work! Now, my favorite wrestler of all time is Macho Man Randy Savage. I was wondering what happened to him and his manager, Elizabeth. I heard that they were married and divorced in real life. Is that true? When and why did they leave the WWF? Thanks!!
It is true, that the two married in the mid 80s and although alleged to be not married by the WWF, were in fact husband and wife throughout their stay in Titan. After moving to WCW, which I am guessing was for more money, the two divorced but remained good friends and shared a close working relationship, as Elizabeth still managed Savage. As of this time, Savage is going out with Gorgeous George and Liz is speculated to be involved with Lex Luger. The little wedding in the WWF at one of the early 90s Summerslam was just a publicity stunt by the WWF.
It's been a while since I've heard anything on LOD? Why haven't we seen them or hear about them?
Although not yet confirmed yet by the WWF, it is being reported that the LOD and Paul Ellering have been released from their WWF contracts. Until the WWF makes a formal announcement, we can never be sure though.
From: Luke-Dogg
I have heard that sometimes they exaggerate wrestlers height and weight. For example, they say Hogan is 6'8 but he is reallyonly like 6'5. Do you know if this is true or not?
It is true. Almost all the wrestlers are bumped up a couple inches or have their weights adjusted to fit their gimmick(s). I have heard that The Big Show is actually the same height as Kevin Nash but he is made out to be well over 7' tall by both the WWF and WCW. As well, Kane, although hyped to be 7' tall, is actually closer to the 6-9 mark and without his boots measures at a mortal 6-7.
From: Tom
First off your site rules ive been visiting it for a while now! Now lets see whatever happened to these wrestlers: 1.)HOG 2.)Doink 3.)IRS Irwin R. Schuyster 4.)The "Other" Undertaker who wrestled the real one at Summerslam '94? Who was he and where is he now? Please post this question because im sure other people are interested to!!!
Henry O. Godwinn: Recovering from a serious knee injury but still with the WWF.
Doink: Still active on the independent scene, but does not use the name "Doink".
Irwin R. Schuyster: Last seen in WCW and speculated to currently be in an office position with Turner .
The Fake Undertaker, ie. Brian Lee (aka Chainz of the DOA) was released from the WWF. As far as I know, he has appeared with WCW on a few occasions but may not be under any sort of long term deal with them.
Hey Raj - Say I'm watching RAW and they take a commercial break. I don't want to sit there watching commercials so I turn to Nitro for 2 mins. Am I giving Nitro ratings by watching it for 2 mins. while the WWF is taking a commercial break? How do the ratings work anyways?
I'm not sure exactly how the ratings work, since it is a very complicated subject, but I believe that you have to tune in for at least a quarter hour for it take any significant weight in the hourly scores. Anyone out there know how Neilsen Media works is encouraged to drop me a line. There is also a somewhat broad overview of the ratings somewhere above.
What's up Raj. First off I'd like to comment you on your awesome webpage. I visit it a couple times a week. Keep up the good work. I'm writing for some information of Stephanie McMahon. Just the basic stuff, her age, her future in the WWF and any other information you've got on her. I guess I find her fairly attractive, she's around my age and not that I mind the assets of Sable, Debra and the other women of the WWF, it's nice to see a girl that is 100 percent real. Thanks a lot man and again keep up the kick-ass webpage.
Stephanie is either 23 or 24 years old and is thorougly involved in the WWF's booking committee. Dave Meltzer says that Stephanie is actually more into the business than is her brother Shane. I don't know if she will stick around on as part of storylines, but I'd assume she will intimately be involved in some aspect of the WWF. That may or may not mean TV time.
Hey Rajah, I love the mailbag, I love the site. Can you please tell me more about wrestler's contracts, what exactly an out clause is, and why some wrestlers have it in their contracts and others don't. How exactly did Bret "escape" from his twenty-year contract with the WWF? Another Question: What are the chances of RVD ending up in the WWF (no smart talk please)? Can he be the next Shawn Michaels? thanx
Some wrestlers demand that they be presented with an "out clause" which allows them to opt out somewhere in the middle of their deals. This is a relatively rare event, although some deals are equipped with a buy-out function, where another promotion or even the wrestler himself is able to buy-out the remainder of the contract and go elsewhere for the employment. Bret was able to escape since the WWF and Hart both mutually decided to end the agreement. As for Rob Van Dam, the WWF wasn't impressed with his attitude when ECW invaded the WWF a year or so ago, which is why they aren' showing much interest in him. However, I suspect that sooner or later, some feelers will be sent out. Personally, I don't see him winding up in the WWF anytime soon. ECW would probably do their very best to keep him happy.

Hey Rajah, love your site. Keep up the good work. I have a couple of questions for your mailbag: 1) What exactly happened when Curt Hennig smashed Hogan's worl title? Was it an accident or on purpose? 2) Have there been any in ring shoot fights (besides brawl for all) between wrestlers with legitiment heat? Thanks a lot
Yeah, it was all worked. It was in the scripts for Henning to smash up the belt. There have been a few instances of in-ring shoots. Mostly it occurs if one wrestler accidentally gives another one a hard shot, which causes things to turn a bit rough. I do remember on one occasion in WCW, the Nasty Boys were fighting the Outsiders, and at one point Hall gave one of his opponents a particulary stiff shot. This caused the Nasty Boys to double-team Scott rather vigorously a few moments later in an effort to teach him a lesson. The Nasty Boys were subsequently punished from their actions. Recently speaking, shoots are VERY rare.

Hey rajah, just want to take the time to tell you I love your site...I get on everyday. I have a question to ask you. Do you remember a tag team called the Bodydonnas managed by Sunny? If so, you you think you could tell me who their names were? I now one of the names is Skip. But I am not sure of the other one though. You see, my friend Matt Wyss says the other bodydonna was none other than todays Bob Holly? Can you clarify this? Thanks for your help and support.
The other Body Donna was a guy going by the name of "Zip". Zip is current WWF official Tom Pritchard and is the brother of Bruce Pritchard, aka Brother Love. Tom has also been a part of a tag team called the "Heavenly Bodies". Bob Holly was never a part of the Body Donnas.
If your question didn't make it here, one of two things is likely up. I either did not know the answer or have not gotten to your email yet. Also, it may be
that your question has an answer which is found elsewhere on the page. The next Mailbag will go up sometime next week. Later.
