rajah.com Mailbag, Edition #4

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section myself for the time being. Right now, with me being out of school, I believe I can consistently update this section at least once a week. If I do need help with it, I'll be sure to select one or two individuals to assist me.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II.
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to Rajah_WWF@Hotmail.Com. Please try to keep it short, since if it is too long, it will be prone to editting.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.

IMPORTANT!!!
If you have anything to add to any of these questions/comments or even my remarks, please email me. I'm not claiming that all my info is correct, as I'm sure that some of it is inaccurate as well. PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS ABOVE AND NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE EMAIL ADDRESS!!!

From RudeBoy:
1) if Sid was to come to the WWF, would you think the WWF would be pushing him into World title reign, or would they do the un-expected and have him as a mystery opponent for the intercontinental title?? and if this was to happen, would you believe he would give the IC title the meaning it once had??
2) before Brian Pillmans sudden passing, was he to have a major push?? heavyweight championship push?? I read in a past mailbag question
3) the Hardy Boyz are definately a couple of under-used talented wrestlers. everybody rates them as "the Rockers of the new millenium". I on the other hand believe they are far more talented than what the Rockers were in their prime. what's you take on this??
4) what's the current deal between Test and Tori?? is the WWF trying desperately to get Test over as a face?? though Test is getting over quite well with the fans, I'm one of them, but I have been into the whole Test thing since day 1 (I knew one day he'd get the snowball effect and get things going). are WWF officials trying to get Tori to be Tests' valet?? if so, it would be no problem then, because I believe that Tori is a very attractive young woman with a bright future in the WWF (both wrestling and maybe as a valet??)
5) last question; do you think the WWF will ever use a War Games type of match?? please do not answer with the most obvious answer: Hell in the Cell. though many would claim that they would be copying WCW, but a Survivor Series match is no way to settle a stable/group feud.

1. If Sid were to come to the WWF (and that is a very big "if"), he would surely be put into the World Title picture, rather than the Intercontinental. Sid will demand some big bucks from whoever he is with, be it WWF, WCW or ECW, and it would be rather foolish to invest in someone as risky as Sid and have him go after a secondary belt. Sid, because of his drawing power and his popularity, will always be a main eventer wherever he is.

2. Brian Pillman was not getting pushed to the world title spot prior to his death, but he was nestled amongst the high mid-card, I-C slot wrestlers. He was involved in a fairly interesting angle with Goldust and Marlena just before his death.

3. The Hardy Boyz definitely have superstars written all over them. Their actual wrestling ability is unparalleled. With the fact that they are now involved in a good angle with the Brood, only one shortcoming remains in their way. That being, their size. However, since they are tag team specialists, the problem is not as glaring, which is why if they are to succeed in the WWF, they need to always remain together.

4. Yeah, it appears that Tori and Test are aligning, at least for the forseeable future, as the WWF attempts at heating up a Tori/Test VS. Meat/Jacky angle. However, I'm not sure if this pairing is anything permanent.

5. I doubt it. The Union will start to disintegrate real soon. I can just see it...

Hey Rajah, great site. I heard a while back that the Rock was getting his enterance music done by DMX. I was just wondering if the WWF decided not to do that or if it was getting done later.

I have not heard anything about that lately, so I suspect either it has been dropped or has been postponed indefinitely.

From Keith Jarrell:
This might be really stupid, but my brother said this after he read a question on the mailbag. It was like "Could Chyna go into the mens division and wrestle" and you said that it was possible. Anyway, my brother said that Triple H was supposed to win the title (it was in his contract, right?) and he said that Chyna could get jealous of Triple Hs popularity and Chyna could turn on HHH, and kind of start a fued, and maybe HHH could could go back and reform D-X. I thought it was a weird idea, I guess it makes sense, but what do you think.

Well, with the WWF, the jealousy-causing-a-split thing is always a definite possibility, however, in all honesty, I do not see Chyna actually winning the WWF belt all on her own. Perhaps, she will play a big part in Triple H's win, and maybe even defend it for him on occasion, but the actual thought of her pinning a bonafide male opponent escapes me. For one, it would hurt the loser's character and it would also cause for an unpleasant situation in which Chyna would eventually lose the belt.

I was in Derby (England), and there was a British Wrestling event going on. And in the main event was YOKOZUNA! I couldn't believe it. He was massive, he must weigh about 50 stone.

Yokozuna gets around. Usually, he's all over the place promoting wrestling and his recently started wrestling school. The latest weight I have on him is 728lbs, which you might notice is significantly higher than he was when he competed in the WWF.

From Russ:
I just wanted everybody to know that if you ever have the chance to go to a live WWF event...take it. I sat in the last row of the FirstUnion Center for Wrestlemania 15 and it was still one of the best experiences of my life.

I agree Russ. The last WWF house show I went to in April was simply fantastic. It was a hundred times better than the one held a year ago. Almost all the stars were there and it almost felt like a RAW without backstage footage and vignettes. Some of the wrestlers even cut mini-interviews, which was great. There was just no Titan Tron. I guess the moral of this message is if the WWF comes to town, go!

From Inferno:
Do Al Snow and Mick Foley have legit heat between them. What was all that ripping on eachother a couple weeks (months) back?

At first there was no heat, just some inside jokes between the two as they took subtle, yet innocent shots at each other. However, after Mankind suggested that Al Snow does not "sell" chairshots, there was some legit heat backstage as Snow did not take kindly to the words. It has been settled as of this writing and the two remain good friends.

From Derrin K.:
i have a couple of questions...... here goes. Shane. is he married to tori. how old is he. my girlfriend is like his biggest fan and she wants to know all about him. also, bloodbaths. how do they work? and what is used for the blood? and one more question. will shawn ever show up with whisper? also, a wcw related ques, what are the terms of that surge deal.

As mentioned on a previous Mailbag, Shane McMahon is NOT married to Tori. Shane's wife, from what I gather, is Steve Austin's agent or manager or something. Tori has nothing to do with it. The "blood" used in bloodbaths is actually "Kool-Aid", which is sprayed from under the ring using a hose. On a recent episode of RAW, you could see the hose sticking out from under the ring after a bloodbath. As for Shawn and Whisper, who knows? It seems that no one even knows when Michaels will show up, let alone Whisper. I've heard that Whisper is not legally able to show up on WWF TV, since she was granted a release from WCW and one of the stipulations was that she could not appear on RAW. And finally, I do not have details of the Surge/WCW deal.

Hey Raj,I was just looking at another great mail bag and I hope you keep it but when RCW invaded the WWF what exactly were they trying to ge at.Did ECW have money problems?I also heard many of times that Vinny Mac owns a little part of ECW and I also heard he wants it all.If thats true why would he?Do they realy trade talent? And one comment.Marty Jannetty is going to be wrestlin overseas in some independednt cards. He and his agent are doing fine.Raj happy way belated bday.lol peace

Basically, it was just a mutual angle run by both parties to further promote their respective divisions. ECW got exposure on RAW infront of the worlds, and the invasion allowed the WWF to play out an interesting angle for their fans. There were no money problems that caused this. As of now, McMahon nor Titan own any part of ECW. Paul Heyman is the sole owner and lately, he has been having huge monetary troubles. Vince offered a $1 million loan, Heyman kindly turned the offer down since he does not want Vince controlling his promotion. Despite all this, the two companies remain very friendly and casually exchange talent that benefit both parties.

From kingmilow:
I was reading the mailbag and someone brought up ko ko b. ware. Remember awhile back when the blue blazer was some black person, people thought it might have been ko ko. Do you know who that was? I heard maybe Mo???

It was confirmed to be Koko. At first, everyone thought it was Mo since Mabel/Viscera had just signed with the WWF, but The Rock appeared on "Off the Record" and revealed that it was indeed Koko.

From Freak:
Hey Raj. On your latest edition of the mailbag some asked the ages of the WWF women. Well, I know that Sable is 39. Just thought it would clear up some stuff.

I dunno about that. Despite how she looks at time, I'm pretty sure her birth year is 1967, which would make her 32 years old. Now, I've heard that Debra is 39, but I have not been able to confirm that.

From Tony:
Just a quick question, do you know when Marc Mero will start wrestling again for the WWF. If so could you please include this in your mailbag and answer it.

Sable and Marc Mero are both giving the WWF a lot of trouble lately. Mero is still said to be suffering from effects of elbow surgery and is expected to be fully recovered by early to mid summer. I suppose that is when we can see him back in the WWF, unless he finds a way out of his contract before then.

Hi Rajah have some questions and comments on good old wrestling. First off your site rules and I don't give 2 pounds of monkey crap what anyone else thinks. First off the Lord of darkness is a jabronil. But he will beat SCSA at IHY Over The Edge. Do you know if Tatanka will ever go back to the WWF. He was my favorite wrestler. HBK will come back without a shout of a doubt, and that's all I've got to say about that. The great one The Rock is thee toughest World champ there ever was. This is for all those new wrestling fans wrestling aint what it use to be. Stonecold will lose and win back the belt on raw. Vinnie Mac can't be trusted so I say this he will betray SCSA at Over The Edge. By time this is posted, if it is Over The Edge will be long gone. As for Shane Mc Mahan who gives a rats as I was saying Vince can not be trusted at all. Love the site and keep up the excellent work.

P.S please post this

Let's see...correct, Undertaker did win. Tatanka probably will not be back with the WWF anytime soon. HBK...okay, I'm not even going there. Stone Cold lost, but did not win the belt back just yet, and Vince McMahon is still trustworthy so far.

Dear Rajah, I was wondering if you can help me answer some questions about Rob Van Dam. I won't ask you an easy question, like will he ever go to the WWF or if he is Jean Claude Van Damme's real brother, because people ask that all the time. I wanted to know who trained him and what is his real name. If you could tell me these two items, it would help me out. Love the site. I think the addition of a daily posting board for new rumors as well as a biweekly rumor update will add to the website.

I do not know who trained him, but as far as I am aware, his real name is Rob Szatkowski. Anyone know who trained Rob Van Dam? Drop me a line. Oh yeah, I update rumors not bi-weekly, but twice weekly. Bi-weekly implies that I update it once every two weeks. Sorry, I know this is irrelevant, but I needed to comment more than a sentence on this email.

From Zeke:
Hey Raj. Just a couple of quick questions for the Mailbag. First i was watching a couple of old WWF ppv's and I saw a couple of old tag teams in there and i was wondering where they might be now. Demoltion and Powers Of Pain. Those two teams were two of my favs. I know Barry Darsow was Smash of Demoltion and he WAS in WCW but where is he now. And where did Ax go??. Barbarian i know is still in WCW but where is the Warlord??. Any chances of them reforming and returning to WWF. I dont know if the left under bad terms or not. Also I was wondering how Dynamite Kid was paralyed from the waist down. Thanx

Darsow is still under WCW contract, despite not appearing on TV. Ax works some of the independent cards, however, he has some heart trouble (irregular heartbeat I believe) which limits his action. He was involved in a lawsuit with the WWF over rights to the Demolition name and lost. As a result, I don't expect he will ever be back. Barbarian is with WCW as you said, but I am unaware at the whereabouts of Warlord. Again, I do not anticipate ever seeing them again in the WWF, at least not as a tag team. And finally, I've also wondered about Dynamite Kid. As I have said before, I am relatively poorly versed on this subject, and would appreciate any information from anyone reading this. Anyone know?

You said that the WWF possibly released one of the greatest tag teams ever, The Legion of Doom. If they're willing to give LOD up, then why the hell won't they give up DOA?

It's not necessarily about how good the team is or how legendary they were. As far as wrestling promotions are concerned, you keep who you use or can use in the future. LOD have NOT yet been released. However, they are not in the WWF's plans as one of their superior tag teams and naturally Hawk and Animal would NEVER accept being relegated to jobber status as a duo so they are off of TV. The DOA, on the other hand, are most likely content or satisifed in playing a role in getting OTHER tag teams over. LOD goes, DOA stays as a results.

From: Ed McGrogan (aka Eddie McG)
Thanks for answering my question last week, but here's another one for you: do you ever think that the WWF would make "Stone Cold" Steve Austin a heel? You might think, no way or no chance in hell (best theme song ever) that this would happen, but the WWF has made many of their top faces turn heel in the past. What do you think? Also, is it me, or does Sunday Night Heat need a little more into it? It's the same thing every week, you don't need to watch it to have an idea of what's going on at RAW, and if SCSA or the Rock is on, it's about a 2 minute stint. I say they should take that off the air when Smackdown comes on. Thanks Raj, you've got the best damn site on the net!

Well, the only time that I could really see Austin turn heel is at the very end of his WWF career. To me at least, turning him into a "bad guy" means killing his current character and killing all the popularity he has gained so far from wrestling and non-wrestling fans alike. If the WWF does decide to pull a heel turn on us anytime soon, I suspect it will only last a week at maximum. Anything more is seriously risking things as we know it in the WWF. As for HEAT, I've never even watched an episode of it. Us Canadians are highly deprived, until this Sunday...

From Beth:
HI, I'M BETH AND I WANNA KNOW A FEW THINGS: FIRST DOES HBK AND WHISPER REALLY HAVE MARRIAGE PROBLEMS? I DON'T THINK SO! SECOND, WHAT'S THE LATEST ON THE NICOLE BASS/HB SITUATION? AND FINALLY, HAS SHAWN BEEN IN CONTACT AT ALL WITH MARTY JANNETTY ? I WAS HOPING MAYBE SHAWN CAN GET MARTY IN THE WWF.

No, no problems that I am unaware. In fact, I hear things have gone incredibly smoothly for the newlywed couple.
Nicole Bass is legitmately angry and upset at Michaels' comments. You can read more about it in some past editions of the rumors.
Shawn and Marty are not in contact at this moment. There may be some real life heat between the two athletes...

i am a constant viewer of your website, and i would just like to say great job. I have a few questions about some of the wrestlers. A lot of people have been asking about Koko B. Ware. Well i was wondering if you knew the description of his finisher "the ghost-buster suplex". was it a type of brain buster??? Also, if Godfather loses the belt, do you really see him returning to Papa Shango?? i know a lot of people ask you this, but Papa Shango was my all-time favorite wrestler, and i really want him to return. and my final question, will Christian be receiving a push soon? he has a lot of talent, but he doesn't wrestle all that much. I hope you post me in your mail-bag column. happy late b-day!!

Koko's move went somewhat like this...he picked his opponent up like he was about to do a front suplex, but instead of dropping them on their back, he would instead sort of sit down himself and drive them into the ground like a piledriver. I do not see Papa Shango ever returning. It just would be too whacked out because the majority of fans probably don't even know who he was and it would be just too bizarre for The Godfather to just magically disappear...and even worse he's take the Ho's with him. Christian will probably get a push sooner or later. However, if you want a guess from me, I'd day the chances are better of it being LATER than sooner...

From: Big Tommy Cool
Great internet page. I am from Warrington, England (wear Dynamite Kid lives) and I know him well. The reason he hates Davey Boy is because Davey Boy told his Auntie (Dynamite's Mother) that he took Steroids and other drugs. This caused problems within their family. And by the way-Dynamite did carry the British Bulldogs, he was the greaest in ring wrestler ever. Anyone who hasn't seen any of his matches has missed out. It is true that he is paralysed from the waist down. I've got a question for you- Are the Road-Doggs Dreadlocks fake?

Thanks for the info. I believe they are indeed real. I can't confirm it or anything though.

From Matt:
My question about the Undertaker: I have heard hints here and there that he has had some health/medical problems. Could you elaborate for me? Thanks.

The only thing that I know of is that Undertaker at one time gained a lot of weight and was put on a strict diet so he would get down to a desirable level and would allow him to wrestle. He also suffers from a variety of knee injuries, one of which has lately resurfaced. [Matt also sent along a plethora of info about the disease Andre and Paul Wight were inflicted with. If anyone wants this info, get contact me. Thanks Matt.]

From Lucky Luciano:

Hey Almighty Raj! First of all, your site id the best I used to look at another site but this is 100x better. I'm Just wondering if you think any of these stories could happen.

1) I have heard rumors Flying around that BA Billy Gunn is gonna win the King of the Ring this year. This would very much help his push because if you look at the other people who won KOTR, You'll see that it pushed them to a lot of fame ( Example: SC Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock)

2) Here's my little story line I concocted, Taker beats Austin by the help of Triple H at Over the Edge, by the next PPV Triple H and Taker fued because he thinks he helped Taker win the Title but taker thinks he didnt need help. Meanwhile Steve Austin keeps getting Screwed by Shane and won't get World Title shots. Triple H beats Taker for Title. By the Next PPV hints are thrown around that HHH and DX are working together. Austin wants a title shot at SummerSlam, During match DX comes down and beats up Austin, bringing DX back together and turning them to Heels since Triple H and Billy Gunn seem to enjoy being a bad Guys.

1. I have heard these rumors too and as of now, I am going with either Bad Ass or Paul Wight to walk out as the "King of the Ring". That is merely an opinion though.
2. Nice scenario and one that holds merit to it. Everyone's talking about an Austin-HHH world title shot, but as you pointed out, who's to say that Austin will be the defending champ going into it...? It is somewhat of a longshot to materialize, but would work well nonetheless.

What happened to Bart Gunn? I watched the Brawl for All with him and Butterbean, and he made a fool of himself at the hands of butterbean. Did the WWF release him, or is he just waiting around for something to do?

To probably no one's surprise, Bart Gunn has been released following his defeat.

hello i hope this one makes it to the mail bag. anyways, there was something on your webpage about ahmed johnson, i heard back in december that he was arrested for "selling women" i dont know if it was true, but i think it has good possibilities of being true. another question, do trile h and the rest of everyone that used to be in dx still get along backstage? do the rivalries of people like austin and vince end in the ring, or do they continue outside of wrestling? oh yeah, happy belated b-day.

The "rumors" about Amhed pimpin' some hoes in real life turned out to be just that--a bizarre twisted rumor. It was not true and was started by some idiot on the net who made up numerous false stories and got some good reporters believing in them. Luckily, that was the only one that I fell for...:)
Anyways, almost all the WWF wrestlers get along backstage. There will be a minor scuffle here and there, but nothing that indicates major hostility of the sort. Vince and Austin get along well. I mean they would pretty much have to considering that Austin is the WWF's biggest draw and Vince is the one that pays Austin's paycheck...

Hey there, I'm probably the biggest Dusty Rhodes fan there ever was, but I just have one question about him. At Summerslam '89, he is wearing a police hat and has a nightstick. For some reason I don't remember. What's this all about??

Around that time, Dusty was involved in a big feud with The Big Bossman. This is where the late Sapphire also appeared.

From Johnny A.:
1) How did Degerneration X become Face? They started out as heels right?
2) I think your site is great and has everything, but....how about like a report on some of the older PPV's. Do you know any webistes where I can find old PPV results?
3) I noticed some of the Referees were earpieces you can see a wire going down their shirt from their ear-Have you noticed that? Do you know what their for?

1. Yeah, they were heels but soon after Bret Hart left for WCW, the DXers were pitted against Owen Hart. In a weird twist, Owen lost his babyface role and D-X instead started garnering the pops. The WWF was forced to switch the roles and make Owen turn bad (and consequently join the Nation), while D-X went face.
2. Umm....I have results of almost all the prior PPVs...which can be found here. They are not detailed, but the results are there.
3. Yes, the "higher-ups" use it communicate information down when necessary...ie. when to stop a match, when time is running out and even when certain spots are scheduled to transpire.

First off your site is really great and I love the rumors. Ok the question I have is this, the WCW is actually owned by Ted Turner, now Ted Turner has a key position in the Time Warner Company. The Time Warner Co. ownes the WB a growing network that could me the next Fox, with the addition of a few more big rating shows, now this growing company already has the teenage female demographic with shows like Dawson and Felicity, so why has the WB not gone after the teenage male demographic by putting Thunder or a similar show on the WB. The connection between the WB network and WCW is already there so I really don't understand why they never thought of this, and now that the WWF is starting smackdown do you expect WCW to copy the WWF with a network show or are the ratings not there? Anyway sorry about the WCW question here are the WWF questions, what ever happened to crush from demolision, why does the WWF have such a smaller stable of wrestlers than WCW(we always see the same people on RAW) and finally what ever happened to the Ultimate Warior after the stupid hogan angle in WCW there was talk that he would return to the WWF, where and when do you think that the Warrior will turn up?

-Ted Turner is a majority owner of WCW. Although he does not own it all after Time and Turner merged, he still owns almost all power of the company. As far as demographics go, I'm not sure. Timeslots and stations matter a bit when it comes to grabbing viewers, but you got to have the goods to attract the demographics in question and WCW clearly does not have it. I don't believe WCW would come out with a network show. IF they do, they would surely have to cancel Thunder.
-Crush is currently in WCW, wrestling under the name of Bryan Adams (his real name).
-WCW has the $$$ to accomodate a bigger roster of talent. Bigger is not necessarily better as it causes tension backstage and makes angle tough to figure out and produce. They just have TOO MANY wrestlers.
-Warrior was released by WCW or according to him, his contract ran out in December. I guess it does not matter because he is unemployed either way you look at it. I don't see him turning up in the WWF, so I guess it's WCW or bust for Warrior...

okay your site rocks. yadda yadda yadda... okay now to my question. my brothers and i have been "hardcore" wwf fans, you could say, over the years. we remember pretty much everything between the 3 of us, even though there were times when we weren't so into the wwf. so, when you say and many other sites say that there has only been 1 "Ultimate Warrior" we tend to think differently. there was at least 2 isolated instances where the "Ultimate Warrior" came down to the ring at a height about 4 foot. well that's exaggerated, about 5'6 when we all know the real "ultimate warrior" (Jim Hellwig) was quite a bit taller then that (about 6'4). i mean it is obvious that there has been more than one "ultimate warrior" so why doesn't anyone say this on their sites? i mean anyone can put on a coat of paint and look like the "ultimate warrior" but when they are a foot shy of the real one, you kind of figure it isn't the same one. i am sure i have these instances taped in my wwf ppv collection but i have no idea what it was. i'll look and see what i can find. but i was wondering if you remember these instances at all? I was also wondering if you think Billy Gunn has mike skills? my brother thinks he does but me and his friend both think he's nuts when he says he has better mike skills the road doggy dogg. so your opinion would be greatly appreciated. thanks. peace.

Okay, there has always been only ONE Ultimate Warrior and here is my "proof". Jim Hellwig LEGALLY changed his name to "Warrior" and if the WWF ever used anyone in his place, they would end up getting sued for it. I don't know when you saw a 5'6" Ultimate Warrior because I for one have never seen it. I will say that his appearance changed a lot over the years and he even lost some muscle mass, but that is basically what steroid use and then abrupt stoppage will do to you. And as for Billy Gunn, I think his mic skills are on the low end of the imaginary mic skills chart, but I have seen...err...heard...worse.

rajah whats up, first of all I want to say what a great site you have probably the best site on the web. What was Bischoff before he was the WCW pres was he a wrestler?. Another point I have is about Undertaker/Kane I think the WWF should bring in someone to be kane/undertakers cousin or relative and he could talk for kane and get him over they could also form a Tag Team. And remember when the Undertaker had the urn wasn't that supposed to be his parents ashes if so how could kane have choke slammed him through their coffins.

Eric was not a former wrestler. He has martial arts training, however, he has been involved in wrestling only as a commentator/official. And about The Undertaker's urn containing his parent's ashes, you have me stumped. Cause I swear the WWF also hyped that it contained the ashes...

I read something about AWA wrestling in the mailbag, and I thought I may as well adress this. AWA is in fact still around and are trying to make a come back. They have signed many well known personalities including: golga(who unfortunately is continuing that gimmick), and I hear gillberg has been sending out feelers to AWA as well. Other superstars include: King Kong Bundy, Doink, Iron Sheik, Sheri Martel, George"the animal" steele, the bushwackers and Jim Neidhart. Apparently they will also have some appearrences by Shane Douglas too. Just thought you might be interested. The adress is awastars.com, check it out.

Thanks. Anyone interested in AWA Wrestling or information about it can click HERE.

While I was reading an edition of the mailbag I was extremely pissed off at some guys comments. This kid was known as "J.D." and I think he is an incompetent asshole. The brood, first of all, does not suck; I do agree that Billy gunn sucks ass and should be fired, but this kid gets all butt hurt about people wanting to know the whereabouts of former stars. People are interested, so let them ask their questions. I'm guessing that this kid has watched wrestling for a while, and because of all the new found popularity, he is pissed because he doesn't want something, that he has known about for a while, popular. Hey J.D. shut the hell up, and if you don't like this page, then don't come to it, its that simple. Stop acting like a whiney little bitch. Love, Chris
P.S. do you think anyone else
cares about don muraco? get the point?

Whoa. I wonder if J.D. is reading this...

From Johnny Goldstone:
-Now, what's this about WWF vs. WCW at the so called 'Millenium Meltdown' with the main event being Austin vs. Goldberg?
If it is true, how on earth can a winner be determined? Surely neither company wants to lose any fans or ratings over this event and i'm sure neither Austin nor Goldberg would want to lose.
-Rajah, can you help?

I sure can, even though I think you've answered your question quite well. It will not happen. Ever. Simply because, as you stated, neither the WWF nor WCW would have enough pride to sit down and work out a booked match. I could see a legit match going down, but what the hell would that prove anyways? In my opinion, a "supercard" will never be worked out when so many damn egos are involved.

I have very 2 quick, easy questions(I think)
1. At the Hell in the Cell match last year at King of the Ring, was all of it scrpited to happen like that(Mankind off the cell, threw the cell, the tacks) or was that Foley just calling spots? Cause just before he is thrown off the cell, you can see that he is talking to the Undertaker
2. You say that WWF can't show nudity, well at Fully Loaded last year, Jacquline popped out of her binki, did the WWF get in trouble fot that?

1. Yes, it was planned. Usually, the wrestlers plan out or call their spots a little bit in advance. Rarely is a match spontaneous.
2. No, they did not because it was what the WWF terms "accidental nudity". I suppose they could "accidentally" have Debra lose her top or something but my point was that they cannot put it in their scripts that nudity will happen. It sort of has to come about (or at least look) inadvertent.

This is just a question i doubt you'll like it but i think you should have a indie section and if ya need some one ill do it thanks

No offense to indy fans or even WCW or ECW fans, but I like it that I run Rajah's "WWF" News and Rumors. The WWF is the only wrestling promotion that I have ever watched and followed in my entire life and I try not to focus too much on the others. I'm WWF 4 Life, baby!

From Larry Benson:
What's the deal with the clothes the wrestlers wear to the ring? Do they have any say on what outfits they'll be in, or do the men upstairs controll that?

I'm positive the wrestlers have a big say in what they wear to the ring. Some stars like The Rock totally pick their wardrobe on their own.

Hey Raj, After reading your mailbag, one idea that I found particularily interesting was the Embalmer senario for UT's 'Higher Power.' But you mentioned who would there be to fill the shoes of the 7 foot, 450 pd frame he is said to have? Well I believe there is a certain WWF superstar right now who was recently called 'The Biggest Free Agent in the History of Wrestling' who seem to fit those shoes almost to a tee. Even though it is heavily rumored that Wight wont turn heel for a while so he and Austin can battle it out at Wrestlemania 2000, I say that if this Embalmer senario plays out we will see a premature heel turn for The Big Show and in time the end of what many believe to be a less than excellent heel run for UT.

I remember before The Big Show signed with the WWF, Jana commented on how the Embalmer might turn out to be Paul Wight's role and I even posted it at the end of one my reports for fun. It hasn't happened yet, but it does seem to have some logic to it.

1.)Is the crusierweight title the light weight title of WCW?
2.)What the hell happened to mankind, when he first entered the WWF he was in shape, now he is all fat and breathes wierd when he wrestles, also he can hardly walk, is that just his knee problem?
3.)what happened to the intercontinental title? It was the second biggest title back when I started watching, now its nothing, and they changed the color, it used to be white, why?
4.)Who is this Dave Meltzer guy?
5.)Was balls mahoney of ECW, in the nasty boys?
6.)Who was the mountie?
7.)I know the bodydonnas werent brothers, but damn they sure looked alike, coincidence?

1. Yes, they're supposed to be equivalents.
2. Hmmmm....I don't know. I don't think it has anything to do with his knee problems. Hey Mick, are you out there? If so, drop me a line.
3. The I-C title has sort of been pushed to the back since most of the WWF's emphasis has been on storylines involving the world title. I say give it some time and it will return to the level it once was at.
4. Meltzer? I don't know him personally, but he's a very reliable wrestling "insider" who has connections to all three "big 3" promotions. Most of what is leaked onto the internet comes courtesy of Meltzer. He also appears on a lot of wrestling-related talks shows so you may see him on TV now and again. He also runs a newsletter, which costs some good money to subscribe to. [I don't even get it].
5. I don't know, but I would guess no. I have never watched ECW before (yes, I guess I am deprived).
6. Mountie is Canadian wrestler Jacques Rougeau. He has also wrestled as part of the Quebecers and The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers.
7. Yes, just a coincidence I guess. I didn't think they looked alike...did you know that Bodydonna Zip (not Candido, the other one) and the man who played Brother Love are real life brothers?

1. I know it's not a WWF question, but what is the WCW version of WrestleMania?
2. How come Stone Cold didn't get a title shot at WrestleMania13 even though he won the Royal Rumble?

1. What Wrestlemania is to the WWF, Starrcade is to WCW.
2. The Royal Rumble ended weirdly as Steve Austin was eliminated by Bret Hart, but somehow he made it back into the Rumble and ended up winning it. Because of the controversy, the WWF elected to hold a 4-Corner's Match featuring the final 3 participants as well as Austin himself. The other three guys were Bret, Vader and Undertaker. At the same time, Shawn Michaels forfeited the WWF title because of a knee injury. As a result, the WWF made the 4-corners match one in which the winner was given the WWF title and the runner-up was granted a shot at it at Wrestlemania. Bret won, Taker was second. However, to complicate matters even more, Bret lost the title the next night to Sid and the final Wrestlemania match ended up being Sid vs. Undertaker. If you re-read carefully, it was originally supposed to be Michaels-Austin. Weird stuff.

From Zach:
Rajah, First i would like to take a moment to honor Owen Hart. His death was tragic and he will be missed. On to my question. Some PPV's have the In Your House prefix added to their name. What is the meaning and how does it differ from say Wrestlemania or Summerslam?

The WWF's "Big 5" PPVs are Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, King of the Ring, Summerslam and Survivor Series. All the other PPVs that make up the rest of the years actions are supposedly dubbed "In Your House: Whatever". However, recently the WWF has decided to drop the "IYH" part of the title altogether so from now on in, each PPV will have its own name.

Something on DDT. And I promise it's the last:

I don't know if anyone cares but I "believe" DDT was a not dropped in Vietnam, but rather a very strong pesticide which was reasoned to be the cause of Agent Orange (that might be the name of the pesticide actually), but DDT is a crop pesticide the farmers used in the 60's until it killed a bunch of bald eagles and was discovered as the cause of a bunch of birth defects in humans.

Hey raj, love the site. Just was wondering why Lex Luger left the WWF. He was way over with the fans as the number one face, and it seemed that he was headed for stardom along the lines of Hogan and The Undertaker. Also, will "Made in the USA" Lex Luger ever come back to the WWF?

Even though the WWF was giving Luger a massive push at the time he left, I'm quite certain he opted to take the bigger pay and lighter workload that WCW offered him. That is the main reason most of WWF's stars decided to jump ship. And because of it, I do not think the WWF would ever take Lex back. They pretty much gave him all they could and he still ditched them.

From Big T 3:16:
I was just wondering, are Debra and Steve"Mongo" McMichaels really divorced? If so do you know why???

I don't know what caused the divorce, but they are officially done with each other. Debra said it herself.

From Drew:
1. WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON THE OWEN HART TRAGEDY, AND DO YOU HAVE ANY NEWS ON BRET'S REATION?
2. WAY BACK AT SUMMER SLAM '96 (I THINK) WHY DID LUGER DO A RUN IN ON THE DIESEL-MABEL TITLE MATCH, AND THEN LEAVE FOR WCW?
3. DO YOU HAVE ANYMORE INFO ONTO WHY THE SHANE DOUGLAS-WWF DEAL FEEL THROUGH?
4. LASTLY YOU WERE ASKED ABOUT IF NASH AND HALL COULD EVER RETURN TO THE WWF AND YOU AVOIDED THE QUESTION, COULD YOU SAY WHAT YOU ACTUALT THINK AND WHY.

1. I think I don't need to relate my opinions on this anymore. Bret was bitter to the WWF and its direction of programming after Owen's death. He blames the WWF for pushing the envelope so to speak.
2. The answer to this one is available two-three paragraphs above.
3. It has not fallen through yet. It was just rejected by Douglas because he was after more money than the WWF offered.
4. Yes, I think they will IF (and this is a very big IF) the WWF's storylines don't change all that much, meaning Triple H, D-X, Shawn are still in the thick of things. Two and a half years is a long time in wrestling.

From MW:
First of all, I would like to send out my condolences to the family of Owen Hart. Last night's accident [this was sent in on 5/24] was a terrible tragedy that never should have happened. The WWF has lost one of its greatest performers of all time. But what will happen now? Everyone knows that Owen's brother Bret hates Vince McMahon. Will Bret and the rest of the Hart family go after the WWF with a lawsuit concerning negligence on the WWF's part? If they did, they would undoubtably be backed by Ted Turner and WCW (it would be so like Eric Bischoff to take advantage of such a terrible tragedy). If they do sue for negligence, and I couldn't imagine a judge or jury in the world that wouldn't rule in the Hart's favor with this situation, they might be able to sue the WWF for all its worth. This unfortunate accident could be the end of the WWF......

I have heard chants of lawsuits coming down on the WWF, but I'm not sure if the Harts will go through with it or even if they have a legitimate case to stand on. What happened was a big accident, which was not directly caused by any one party. If the WWF does go out of business, what happens to me!? RajahWCW.Com? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Here's a letter about Owen Hart's death and the direction of the WWF's programming:

I need to voice my opinion on the question at hand, has wrestling gone too far? I have been a wrestling fan for 16 years (wwf) and in the last couple of years I have seen the most dangerous stunts involved. It seems to me that the more you push the envolope the more you are asking the wrestler to basically end their career or in Owen Harts case kill themselves. With the stakes now at an all time high for the almighty ratings we have seen the possible end of the show stopper the head liner the main event in Shawn Micheals ( the match with the Undertaker I belive ended his career when his back hit the table). Then we have this idiot Mick foley who is just begging for a casket with his name on it(the ride off of the hell in the cell cage..then through the top of the cage landing onto the ring) He is very lucky he hasn't snaped his neck in half!! Now the risk of getting the ratings has backfired the spectacle of the "wow did you see that" has turned to "oh my god, is he dead?" Owen Hart, a midcarder at best, needed something to spark his dimming career to get him over with the fans. Because after all we demand more, more, more!!! We want to see the carnage or as Jim Ross puts it "it looks like a car wreck". We have demanded more as fans and they have given it to us. The "new additude" the wwf has constructed is early retirement and now death. There are more important things in life than the money and wining the ratings each week , and its human worth. I know Owens death will not make vinnie mac and company come to realize that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!!!

P.s... I guess we saw the ultimate sacrifice the Undertaker had promised a day earlier..Owen sacrificed himself, his career, family and friends to get over with the fans.

okay, check this out. you know how Undertaker was talking about the "ultimate sacrifice"?? well, i dont wanna sound cruel, but do you think Owen Hart coulda been just that? i mean, okay, undertaker wouldnt really kill anyone but maybe owen had emotional problems or he thought his life sucked cuz of his dad constantly beating him when he was a child, i dont know, and he approached the wwf and said he would commit suicide for the wwf to help push a major angle?!? the WWF, after considering that owen will never become anything, decide to let him kill himself and act like it was the undertaker's working. that would've been the ultimate sacrifice, you know, killing somebody on a live pay-per-view show for millions to see! that would truely make undertaker the biggest heel of all time!!!! or ,maybe, undertaker is really a pyscho lunatic and he tried to kill owen for the fun of it. or, maybe this was vinnie mac's way of getting back at bret and the entire hart family for making him look like an asshole because of the whole "vince screwed bret" scenario. you never know how sick people are until you really have to think about it.....

Ummm...I don't think so.

From Gregg:
i once heard a rumor that there was once a "2nd razor ramon" and a a "2nd diesel", what happened? What did I miss? Ialso heard the guy who plys Kane was one of these imposters.

Yeah, about a week or two after Scott Hall and Kevin Nash left for WCW, Jim Ross hyped that "Razor Ramon" and "Diesel" were gonna be on RAW. The fans got excited because they naturally equated Nash and Hall to the two WWF characters. After a few teases, it was revealed that Razor and Diesel were just look alikes going by the same name (since the WWF held ownership of the gimmicks). Basically, it was retaliation for WCW implying that "two current WWF wrestlers" were gonna appear on THEIR show. The truth was that Hall/Nash were already signed by WCW and Titan did not like the fact that fans would associate WWF with WCW if they saw the two on NITRO. It was a very confusing situation and a bigtime lawsuit resulted over it. Glen Jacobs, who plays Kane, also played the Fake Diesel.

Is it true that Tori maybe Sable's daughter? This is only speculation but according to playboy Sable is 43 years old.

Hahahaha! Sorry, that was simply too amusing. No, Tori is NOT Sable's daughter. Sable is not 43 either. Her daughter is 10 years old, which obviously rules out Tori...I think. Hahahaha.

From J.D.
Hey Raj. whats up? It is a shame Owen has Passed. I, like many others did not like him, and poked fun at him. I guess that says a lot for him ,since that was his job, as a heel ,to get the crowds emotions going. He was really good at it. And to see his associates crying and remembering him, I kind of felt bad. What are the possibilities of Bret retiring now? I was also wondering how many westlers die in a year? I know it is alot. I thought I heard something about it being more thant any other sport or entertainment field? I was aslso wondering how many wrestlers are related to the Rock. I heard he was related to the following: His Dad Rocky Johnson, Chief Mavia, The wild Samoans Seka and the other guy, Jimmy Snuka, and maybe some others. Is this true? Well I'm gonna end here. Later Dog.

I am not sure about the exact numbers, but I don't doubt the fact that it would be higher than the other "sports" (entertainment). Dave Meltzer once passed along statistics on this matter, but I do not have them on me anymore. The Rock is related to everyone you said except for Jimmy Snuka. His mother was Samoan and was related to Sika and Afa in some way shape or form.

From Sean:
- What about Steve Austin saluting Owen? Did he ever get over the whole pile driver thing? I know that he probably did it because it was the right thing to do, but I was just wondering if they ever worked that out.
-Triple H said that Owen "schoolboyed" him in the Rumble. What does that mean?

-No, they never really worked it out, and some ill feelings were still present, almost all of it from Austin's side.
-It means that Owen basically controlled HHH by not letting him out of a move that Owen had him in.

From Adam:
1. I know this isn't your best area of expertise, but has Goldberg really quit the dub-yuh C dub-yuh? Can you see him coming to the dub-yuh dub-yuh F?

2. I live in Scotland, and only get to see RAW on a Friday night at 10PM my time. It is shown on Sky Sports, along with Livewire, Shotgun, Superstars all a week late (No heat) .Do you think that the new deal with UPN will affect this? I mean, will they stop showing it over here, bring more or less programs? Will it affect the free pay-per-views, like Wrestlemania, shown live at 1AM? (Good deal, huh?) Just give a guess if you don't really know. Thanks anyway.

1. Goldberg says he quit WCW, but it's somewhat silly cause he can't just walk away and leave. There are things such as contracts that Goldberg may or may not know about. The WWF would NEVER pick up Goldberg, even if he himself paid the WWF to. By doing so, Titan would be kissing Steve Austin and his thunder goodbye.
2. I do not think this will affect RAW or PPVs in any way whatsoever.

From Matt:
1) what was owen's real age, some say it was 33 and some say its 34, what is the real age?
2) is austin's new contract (the one signed by shane after the october IYH) legit or or work
3) why does leno always wcw wrestlers when he knows that wwf is the best, does it have something to do with his hogan feud over summer? was the hogan leno feud a work or did it start out as a shoot?
4) what city in alberta do you live in because it is pretty cool that a fellow albertan is the webmaster of the best damn web page there ever was?

1. He had just turned 34.
2. It was a work. It's just for storyline purposes.
3. Since Letterman=WWF, Leno=WCW.
4. St. Albert. It's just 2 minutes north of Edmonton.

1. At WM XIV, why wasn't Tyson put into the main event of Michaels and Austin as the actual in-ring referee? Was there a reason as to why he was simply given the role of "ringside enforcer?" What was the point of having a "ringside enforcer," anyway?
2. Who was the Santa Claus that Austin stunnered on a December Raw in 1997?
3. Who in the WWF can take Shamrock in a shoot fight? Would you consider Blackman one of the toughest guys in pro wrestling?
4. Where the hell do all the rumors on the net come from? Who gets 'em first? Isn't up to the WWF if these rumors spread?

1. Two reasons: a) Tyson wanted to get re-instated into boxing and some thought if he got involved in wrestling too intimately, it would hurt his chances; b) The WWF would have to had paid him a lot more money.
2. Damnit, I swear I know (knew) this answer! And it's pissing me off that I can't get it off the top of my head. Give me a few days to think, think, think and if I still cannot remember, I will give out a public plea to rid me of my growing insanity.
3. I don't think anyone can legitimately take on Shamrock. Maybe Paul Wight because he is so big, but I dunno. Blackman knows his martial arts but who knows how well he would do in shootfighting.
4. They are leaked on by people who know others that have connections to the promotions.
