rajah.com Mailbag
-By Kayfabe and Rajah

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:

Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW
MTR - PURPLE

I've been trying to get this question answered for the last 4 weeks so I beg of you answer!!! (I'll even give you money if you answer the question!!) Is this Alliance/WWF feud long-term and in your opinion how will it end??

I think it is safe to say this is going to be a long term thing. So where is my money?

Hi guys just a quick question, What does Rob Van Dam's VANdaminator and the VANterminator actually look like?,eg what kind of moves are they? cos ive never seen them before as i never saw ECW before. thanks Burton.

I know that this is a old question but I felt like answering. You should have seen the Vandaminator like a dozen times by now. The Vantermanitor is what Shane did to Vince at the last WrestleMania where Vince was in the corner and Shane did that dropkick from the other corner with the trashcan on Vince. Just replace trashcan with chair.

Great Site I visit it everyday, hey I was watching Cartoon Network the other day and this cartoon came up called Fight Night, it's pretty old, and It was a bout Dafferyy Duck flying south home, and he got shot by Elma Fudge, the hunter, and then Daffey duck said , since it doesn't have any protection , is it fair for Elma to shoot him in hunting season, so Daffey Duck challenge Elma to a Queen of Queensberry match,(Remember the match between Chris Jerico and William Regal), Daffey End up winning because the judges end up being ducks, ain't that wierd, maybe that's where the WWF got that storyline from.and I just want to ask one question y is Taka Michiko name always spelled, TAKA Mickinoko, with cap, Is there anything special to that?, thanks for answering my mail.Love your site.

Well I doubt that is where they got the name but you never know. The concept of that match has been used before though were basically a special guest ref or something makes up the rules as they go. Flair did it to Nash against Steiner in WCW. That is one of many examples. And I will explain the TAKA thing for the last time. This has been answered before. In Japan when someone goes heel their name is usually spelled with all caps and he was a heel when he came over so the name was spelled that way and it was left that way even though he was not heel at first here.

Hey guys, Love the site, visit it on a regular basis and all that, kudos to y'all! But this whole Kane/Michael Myers/Jason Vorhees thing is starting to drive me 'round the bend, since what I've read in the mailbag seems to suggest that no one commenting has really *watched* the films as much as they claim. To hopefully set it straight once and for all --what Kane is doing with the 'sudden sit-up after apparent destruction' is a Michael Myers thang more than a Jason (though he's also done it on occasion, Myers was the first and original). While 'Friday the 13th' was perhaps the first of the modern slasher films, in it Jason had died at 13, and the actual villain of the film was Jason's *mother*. Michael Myers of 'Halloween' was The Boogeyman -- the first engine of complete, perfect Evil, who could take whatever you threw at him, and after a few minutes' recovery time, sit right back up and go after you again. And contrary to 'RhynoFan's' assertion, Myers (and Jason, for that matter) was *never* "burned as a child" or any time. Also, Myers was the first, in the original 'Halloween' movie, to tilt his head to better admire his handiwork. While the parallells are there, and predominantly to the original Halloween film, I see no reason to think that Kane is supposed to be some spiritual brother to Michael Myers, much less Jason Voorhees. He just used a few good bits that were already out there in filmdom to add to his gimmick, much as Steve Austin has borrowed from such films as Stallone's "Lock Up" and later from "Fight Club". Don't try and read too much into the characters you see, boys and girls. Just enjoy them. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. -WP

Sounds reasonable to me.

Hi Often wrestlers engage in a sleeper hold where the referee lifts the recipiants arm and lets it drop. If the arm drops 3 times the match is over. Usually this results in the arm being dropped twice and then lifted triumphantly the third time (an art perfected by Hulk Hogan!). However, have any matches ever been won this way? I can not remember seeing one myself. Thanks and congrats on a great website! Ben

Oh yes. It has been done. In fact Rowdy Roddy Piper holds a victory like that over Hogan. Beefcake used to use the sleeper as a finisher. So did the Million Dollar Man and Steve Austin. It rarely happens now but it was not uncommon at one point and time.

Hey MTR, I never really send in e-mails to the site, though I visit it numerous times every day. I just had to send in the answer to one that stumped you. I believe a few years ago, JR had a stroke or something, so he was taken off of tv for a while. In his absence, Michael Cole became the main play-by-play announcer. When JR was ready to return, he came to the middle of the ring on RAW and called Michael Cole to the middle of the ring. He proceeded to berate Michael Cole, and accuse him of trying to steal his job. He told Cole he was nothing but a lame pretty-boy, and slapped him around a bit. He sent Cole running to the back, and then he took his seat at the announce table. Ah.....had to get that out. Oh, and as long as I'm sending you an e-mail could you answer this question. I've been watching wrestling since 1990, so don't think I'm stupid and just started watching. I can't for the life of me remember when Undertaker came back with his new gimmick. I know he got injured, and was off of TV for a while, but I can't remember, how/why he came back. Could you please help me out? Thanks a lot. Sincerely Your Olympic Hero: Farhan P.S. WUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH.....It is so nice to see all the people jumpingon Kurt's bandwagon. I told my friend more than a year ago, when Kurt was fighting Jericho and Benoit, that Kurt would eventually be champion. I love seeing all these people proclaim their undying love for Angle. I remember when Kurt had no bandwagon. It was just him giving me a piggy-back ride. WUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!! Ok, I'm done. Thanks.

Okay the part about the JR heel turn was answered in the last mailbag. But some of the old stuff got posted with my new stuff and that was one of the old questions. Anyway Taker came back at the Judgement Day where Rock took on Triple H in a Iron Man match. That is where his current gimmick came about.

From: Ed
Hello, great site you guys have here. I just wanted to know why druing "I quit" match between the Rock and mankind, when the rock made mankind said i quit, that it was pre-recorded? thank you..keep on doing ur good site

Because it made the Rock more of a heel. He could not actually make Mankind say the words I quit. It really helped him get over as a better heel in the long run.

me and my friends were arguing about the whole butterbean and "brawl for all" tournament. first off, didn't "marvelous" marc mero fight butterbean at a ppv before? because i remember it was mero becuase he was in his whole jealous gimmick. and didn't brakus make an appearance in the "brawl for all" and get knocked out? btw, your site rules.

Yes Mero took on Butterbean but it was a boxing match and not a Brawl for All match. Brawl for All was totally different and I do believe Brakus was in it but I don't think he was knocked out.

From Amber! Well, I am a VERY big Road Dogg fan and he hasn't been on wrestling in a very long time... And, I've heard that he got fired from the WWF because of his drug problem and is now with Southeastern Pro Wrestling. Is any of this true, if not, where is he and is he coming back?

He was released after working a Smackdown in a very bad condition. He could have hurt others. He has been in the indy scene since then after doing some time in rehab. I doubt he will be back in the WWF anytime soon mostly because there is no room at this point and time.

From: Thomas

What is the latest on Steve Blackman? I haven't heard anything on him in a long time, but I haven't heard any injury reports and it would surprise me to hear that he had been released seeing as how he's tight with Shane-O-Mac and all. Any word on whether he's going to team back up with Chester McCheesleton from WM2000?

He is currently down in the developemental territories. He is with the HWA right now helping out the younger talent and staying in shape. He was injured for a while though but he is back to 100%.

Hey guys, great site, keep up the good work! Being a big Mick Foley fan, I read both of his autobiographies. I was wondering, of the other wrestler biographies, how many were "ghost-written", as opposed to Mick's books?

I think pretty much all of them have been done that way for the most part. Most sports figures and entertainers that have autobiographys had them ghost written. Does not make the books bad but I think they are better in the author's own words. Just have someone do some editing to get spelling and grammar right.

Great site, Ive been watching the wwf for as long as I can remember, I feel that I know quite a bit about the sport, but there is one question that keeps bugging me. Who was the fake undertaker? Kane maybe? Please respond thanks.

The part was played by Brian Lee. He later was Chainz in DOA. Kane was the fake Diesel and Isaac Yankem.

what is the situation with china? is the wff going to do anything with the womens title soon since her contract is up next month?

Well the situation is that they could not agree on a new contract. Basically they are not sure what to do with the belt once she is officially gone. There was talks of a tournament but also talks of ridding themselves of the belt. I hope they bring it back though. I think there are more than enough women wrestlers to have it.

From: TBBucsrun

I was wondering when Hunter was supposed to return??

I believe that they are looking at December or really late November but probably December.
