hi there guys, nice site you got there, you're the only wrestling site I use anyway. here's my question...what's the deal on gangrel, is he working elsewhere in the wrestling industry or what? plus, is there any chance that he'll return to the wwf and reform the brood, or continue a feud with edge. wwf was great with the brood, thier entrance was the best of all time. what was the cause of gangrel's departure anyway? please respond, i've been trying to get the answers for this gangrel mystery. thanks alot, guys!
Gangrel is probably doing the indy scene right now but I am not sure on that. I doubt there is a chance for him to return. It was hard to really get him over and the roster is overcrowded as it is right now. I think he was just released due to multiple injuries and being out a lot plus just no real spot for him on the roster anymore.
Just some extra info, Gangrel recently wrestled against his wife Luna on the WWA tour.

Hello good people of RajahWWF! Wrestlers like Benoit, Bret Hart and Lance Storm are always touted as one of the best technical wrestlers. My question : What constitutes being a "technical wrestler"? Does it have anything to do with having a background in amateur wrestling? I doubt so, because otherwise Kurt Angle would easily lay claim to being the best (Now THAT'S true). Besides, I remember once Benoit saying, just before one of the earlier matches with Angle where it involved a lot of grappling and holds (can't remember which match), that unlike Angle, he had no previous experience in amateur wrestling and was working hard to train for it. Another theory would be that the wrestler knows a lot of holds, grappling and reversals. But on TV nowadays, all you see Benoit doing are German suplexes, the flying headbutt and the crossface. So what is a technical wrestler? Thanks, and keep up the great work!
It really has nothing to do with back grounds in amateur wrestling. Beniot has none in that department. Basically what people call technical wrestlers are wrestlers that use a lot of wrestling moves and not that many punches and kicks. Basically Austin and Bradshaw are brawlers even though Austin can be a technical wrestler where as Bret Hart, Christ Beniot and some others tend to do more wrestling moves and series of moves like in amateur wrestling without all the kicks and punches.

Hi Guys,
Kudos for the best wrestling site on the net. You have mentioned him on your last few mailbags. WHO IS BRAKUS? I think that I have watched the WWF religiously for the last 12 years . I don't remember him at all. Also whatever happened to Ken Patera and Billy Jack Haynes . I know they must be like 60 now but Ken had that cool white guy fro and Billy had that swinging full nelson neckbreaker that kicked butt. Last time I heard about him he was in Piper's old western oregon territory I think . Thanks
Brakus is a German wrestler that the WWF was high on for some strange reason. I guess they saw potential in him like they do Test or something. Anyway he was on Raw in a couple matches that were terrible and the fans did not like him. He got beat in the Brawl for All and that was that. They let him go.
Now for the other guys I am not sure. I have not heard their names in quite a while. I am not sure what they did after the WWF.

Hey Guys.
I love the mail bag. I have read every one from the first mail bag, to the most recent, and it has actually helped me solve a couple disputes
with some friends. I hope it stays going strong.
I have an opinion and a question to ask, so here goes.
I think with Test winning the immunity battle royal at Survivor Series, the WWF has a goldmine in Test. Think about it. He can do anything he wants to anyone, and he can't get fired for a whole year. He can come up to Vince and give him the pumphandle slam, to knock Vince on his ass with a big boot, and there is nothing that Vince can do about it because Test has immunity.
If WWF plays the cards right, Test can very easily become the next big face in the WWF by having him do what Stone Cold did with Vince. We all know how much the WWF fans don't like Vince.
Anyway, I was just wondering if this has been a topic of discussion among the website crew, and what your takes on this are.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

I like the theory. Too bad Test will never be a Stone Cold Steve Austin. They are not going to push him as a face. They are going to push Test as a heel which I think is best but I just can not see Test being a main eventer. I see him high midcard at best.

i have a diva spotting. i was working out at the bally's health club in deerfield, il. last weekend. victoria was there working out. you could totally tell it was someone because she totally stood out. she looks exactlly like her photos from raw magazine. very hot. i asked her when she was going to be on tv. she said maybe next week, maybe next year. she was very cool, like a regular person. very friendly. she talked to me for like five minutes. she's my new favorite.
Nice to share the information with us. I saw her in Memphis briefly before I moved. I think she could be an asset to the WWf when she comes up.

WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THE ROADOGG BEING OUT OF SHAPE BEHIND THE SCENES OF A SMACKDOWN! TAPING IS ENTIRELY FALSE. ROADOGG WAS NOTED AS IN "UNFIT" SHAPE AFTER A JAKKED/METAL MATCH, IN WHICH HE TEAMED WITH K-KWICK TO DEFEAT TO INDEPENDENT WRESTLERS. TO ADD MORE EVIDENCE TO THIS, I HAVE THE MATCH ON TAPE, IN WHICH ROADOGG FLOPS IN THE RING AND DOES NOT MOVE. A WEEK LATER, THE WWF ANNOUNCED THAT ROADOGG WAS RELEASED/
-JEREMY
You guys are driving me insane with this. I may have to do some research before the next mailbag. As far as I am concerned he was released after a Smackdown taping where he worked unfit.

OK I don't think this is the best place to put this
but I just have to think that David Flair and Shane
O'mac could be used together in so many ways right now
there both outstanding wrestlers with tons of name
recognition. what are the chances we could see this
sometime in the near future?
Interesting and I think we may see that at some point as long as David is still with the WWF. I think he still has a way to come before he can in the ring with Shane though. But I hear he is doing well though.

Wouldn't it suck if someone climbed the ropes to do a
move and while kneeling down on the top turnbuckle
Kane's pyro (that comes up form the ringposts) goes
off? I'd sured be a little pissed if it happened to me.
After the pain subsided I would probably be pretty peeved too.

There was a question in Mailbag #44 concerning the different WWF titles and grand slam champions, and the response said that only two men have been grand slam champs. BUT, a few months ago, WWF.com had an article called "Amazing Kane" that said the Hardcore title could be substituted for the European title, which made Kane the third official grand slam champ, or
something like that. Interesting crap.
They called Kane an unofficial grand slam champ just like Jeff Hardy and Jericho. Well now Jericho is actually the third official grand slam champion after Vengeance.

Those guys that were cut had WWF contracts? I did not know that. Were they in OVW or one of the other developmental leagues? I'm not surprised about these cuts because Vince has always been for larger wrestlers, even if they have no talent, plus all the names I have read on the list were former WCW stars. Is it also true that the WWF will split into two different organizations? I have been reading up on that for quite some time. Is that where those cut will go. Who were all of the people that were cut and is it true that Albert was one of them.
Also, is there anyone that Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson don't get along well with backstage? Are the wrestlers interviewed in RAW magazine being their characters or are they shooting? If so, then it seems like Lita has a problem with Keibler and Wilson and Billy Gunn has a problem with the Rock.
Thanks.
From,
Gail
Yes they were in the HWA which is one of the farm feds for the WWF. It does look like the WWF will split at some point and maybe at that point the released wrestlers may be rehired but as of right now they are out of work unless they find an indy to work for. Albert was not one of them. The only non-WCW star was Esse Rios. I have no idea how liked Torrie and Stacy are. I have not heard bad things about them on the net with having any problems. I think that they do a little of both during those interviews. I am sure that there are wrestlers that have problems with others but for the most part everyone gets along.
From: kevin
do you think the wwf uses more out of ring brawling than they should?
Yes. I think they need to stay in the ring way more unless it is a hardcore match.

Dear Rajah, Pete or whoever answers these,
Please tell me that I am not the only one that thinks that it is utterly stupid that a title belt cannot change hands by way of a disqualification. I mean, I know this is the WWF and all, but this rule makes absolutely no sense from a logical standpoint. In theory, the WWF champion could be fighting a title match, hit his opponent with a foreign object within the first 10 seconds of the match, and lose the match but still be champion. Repeat the exact same thing for the next dozen title defenses, and there's some good TV. Yes, I know the WWF capitalized on this last year with Edge and Christian. It was a rather silly angle even for E&C, and it would be downright retarded
for anybody else. I think in today's "Attitude" era of wrestling, this rule should be stricken from the "books". The whole point of a DQ finish is that
the person being disqualified LOSES. Therefore, if a champion intentionally disqualifies himself, he should lose the title. WHAT?
OK, I actually have two more questions but they're both really short. Both have to do with theme music. First of all, is it me or is Rhyno's theme the
same as Lita's old theme (before she was with the Hardy Boyz)? I think Rhyno's music sounds strangely familiar, but I'm not sure of this, I might be wrong. WHAT? Ok, this next one I AM sure of. I was watching a rerun of the Canadian sketch comedy "The Kids in the Hall" from the early 90s, and I heard Booker T's theme in one of the skits. I'm not making this up, the background music was identical to Booker's music. Seeing that he was in WCW however, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out that WCW ripped off one of their themes from an old TV show, figuring that no one would notice. Am I going crazy here? WHAT? Anyway, thanks for your time. WHAT?
-Tim
Despite not knowing my name I will answer you anyway. Okay the title not changing hands on a dq or count out makes logical sense to me and many others. See the reasoning behind that rule is that the Champion has an advantage because he is the champion. The challenger must beat the champ in the ring to win the belt but the champ does not have to beat the challenger. If it goes the time limit or he gets counted out or gets DQed then he is still the champ because the challenger was not able to pin his shoulders down or make him submit. I know that some say a win is a win but when it comes to titles that is not the case and should not be. Now a classic heel thing is for a champ to keep getting himself dq'ed when he realizes he can not win and if he does this enough a match is usually signed that waives the rule so that he can not get himself dq'ed. Usually these make great angles if done right because the fans get so fed up with the heel champ doing that they they are all excited about the match being signed with the rule waved. See the rule makes perfect sense. The champ has the advantage as it should be and the challenger must over come that if he truly is worthy to be champ.
Now as far as the rest of your email goes. The WWF does redo old themes and use them so if what you say is true it would not surprise me but since I pay little attention to the themes I did not pick up on anything. As far as the Booker T theme goes once again WCW used to still stuff and slightly redo them and use them so what you heard was probably his theme.
