rajah.com Mailbag
-By Kayfabe, MTR and Rajah

Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.

Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:

1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II as well as the mailbag archives at the bottom of the page. .
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to mailbag@rajah.com. Please limit yourself to only one question per person per email. This allows us to update the mailbag more frequently.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe, MTR or Rajah, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:

Rajah - GREEN
Kayfabe - YELLOW
MTR - PURPLE

Well the WWF is once again taken to an age old way of establishing heat for a feud with Goldust cutting promos.....believed to be pointed towards the brightest star the Rock. Many are sure this feud will happen soon, possibly at Wrestlemania 18. Well good...it makes perfect sense and Dustin could pull the matches off if allowed to be different from his previous Goldust characters. Now, I know how the WWF loves to act like they don't remember anything...but hopefully most of the audience remembers that Dustin has twice denounced the Goldust character...once on WWF TV and then again when he came back to WCW. I think if the WWF writing team is creative at all, and judging by some of the stuff they've done...I have my doubts, they would capitalize on Dustin's alter ego. Goldust could be a spirit, a character, that Dustin has not been able to get away from....he could be a character that he designed to be inspite of all of the wrestling purists and inspite of his legendary fat! her....but during it all, he got familiar with the character because the character was really within him all along. No one can say that Dustin did not play Goldust perfectly...I think his time as this character was one of the best developed superstars that has ever been when you pay attention to how he stayed within it and pulled off heat like no one else. So, with a return to Goldust, i think WWF should try to further explain what's going on with Dustin...because all it would do is further make the public believe that he is the strange, sick freak that he is portraying..which only makes heat more believable and makes a fued with the WWF's top draw even more meaningful. Now the one thing that the WWF has apparently forgotten is what causes a fued. A fued in wrestling terms as well as most isn't just someone calling someone out or doing a run in...no in the old days and as well in almost every independent in the business a fued will usually consist of more than one match, and most of the time, unless it was Hulk Hogan, would involve the heel getting at least one victory, be it controversial or clean, the heel always would get at least one win. Now, I'm sure most do not expect in a Rock/Goldust series to see Rock put over Goldust in any match...not because of the Rock (we've seen Rock put over less deserving talents on Raw and Smackdown)...but because they probably feel they can't put Goldust over. Yes I know Dustin's Intercontental titles and spots here and there...but look at what happened anytime they had him opposite a main eventer....Austin literally put him in the can (or port-a-john) without any opposition from his! old WCW rival.....Taker made Dustin look like an amatuer, and remember what Piper did to Dustin. I don't believe the WWF has ever seen Dustin as more than a heat attracting mid-carder. I personally would love to see some kind of Jericho/Goldust alliance or maybe even Angle/Goldust...just think of the possibilities as far as the Living Legend and the supreme star...or the olympic hero who never gets the point and the freaky..homoeroctic mind game beast....the WWF loves to do odd interviews or off the wall segments...just think of what they could do with Goldust opposite some of the newer characters at the top. All in all, as you can tell, I'm excited that Goldust and Mr.Perfect are back, as the way they should be...my only question is will the allow these older talents...who look like they are in great shape both physically and as far as ring ability...a chance to shine amongst the other top stars in the company...now. Dustin and Curt, should not be thrown into just house shows and dark matches or opening matches on Raw...they should get a chance on Raw and Smackdown....they are established veterans with established star qualities...and in a time that the WWF has had trouble getting peoples attention...these two can certainly create heat and attention to themselves. Bring back Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and even Hogan, and the WWF has many great stories to work with, while still elevating Edge, Rob Van Dam, and possibly even Test to the top tier within 2002.

Great email. I am excited they are back as well and I hope that they get pushed well at least Mr. Perfect anyway. Great wrestlers with great gimmicks and so far they are not being pushed liked I hope but we shall see how it goes.

Hi, I love WWF wrestling but there's a lot of strange terminology that I don't understand. What is a babyface? And an angle (is it related to Kurt Angle?) And a heel and turn and stuff... they sound like wrestling moves but the way they're used doesn't make sense. Maybe you should have a dictionary on your site so regular fans can figure this all out!

Rajah does have a glossary of wrestling terms. If I knew the link I would post it. Maybe Rajah can do that if he sees this before posting it. Otherwise look under info or somewhere on the site.

I was just watching the Tough Enough marathon and I was wondering what happened to Taylor. I think that her and nadia were pretty close in skills..is she wrestling any where, and if so how do I get a hold of her to ask her out.

She is doing the indy scene last I heard. I can not help you out on contact info though.

Hey, i just wanted to say that this is an awesome site. I stumbled onto it while I was looking for a good wrestling source site. This is a GREAT site! Well anyway, I wanted to ask if you knew anything about Sting and Goldberg. If they're going to keep on wrestling and if so then where? Would love it if they joined the WWF.Thanks!

Sting is retired. He has never been a fan of the WWF and does not like the direction it goes in. Goldberg is busy sitting at home collecting his money and also has not interest in working for the WWF and no one else really.

Has any one ever held wwf, wcw, nwa, and the awa heavyweight title? My friend says ric flair did

I don't think he was ever AWA champ. As far as I know no one has held all of those titles.

From: Aaron hmm ive seen trish stratus naked m8 ..got the pic to prove it ...want it ?

No because I am sure it is the same fake picture of her in the shower with the other girl. And why is everyone determined to find naked pics of the Diva's. Just wait for them to do playboy or something and then you have plenty of pics.

hi, in mailbag 46, a question was asked about Gangrel's departure from the WWF. I actually met him at during the WWA tour of Australia, and he said that it was a combination of many things, but that he actually asked to be paid out after Luna (his wife) agreed to go to the WWA. He also said that his neck is injured very badly and the WWF didn't want to take a risk with him, and their doctor's basically told the WWF officials not to let him wrestle. Gangrel also said that the WWF treated Luna like shit, and that he hasn't seen one of their shows for almost a year.

Thanks for sharing this info with us.

What do I have to do to get my questions answered? I have sent in so much stuff yet nothing has been printed

I know that I have answered at least one or two of your questions. We just pick and choose. There is nothing really that can be done to make sure that it gets in. We can not answer everything as much as we would like to.

From: MyBigGonzo
ok, here's the question! Once someone is a champion, do they have to agree to drop the title to another wrestler? It would seem that some wrestlers would want to hang on to the title forever and never lose it to anyone. I'm sure this has caused many incidents over the years...

Well they are not supposed to have a say really in when they drop their titles but really they do get a say. Some get more say than others depending on the company and what not. But that is all backstage politics. I am sure there has been incidents that we may not know about but then there are plenty we do like the Hart screwjob at Survivor Series.

do you know where the hell sean ohaire is these days? i don't understand why he's not in the ring and his former partner is when by far ohaire has what it seems alot more charisma and is easily a more talented wrestler than mr. polumbo.

Well he is down in the developmental territories and from what I understand he was happy to go. He needed some work in the ring and what not. He is a great talent and I think he will be a big star one day.

From: Hey, u have a great site, read it every day etc, I was just wondering who the original nWo members were in WCW because it seems like everyone was in it. I just read on your rumours that Mr Perfect was once in it? Eric bishcoff, hogan, hall, nash, savage, syxx, bagwell, this japenese dude in a mask, ok ok maybe its a better question to ask who wasnt in the nWo. oh and in my school, there are loads of posters that have the "n" changed into a "a" and ti says aWo - Asian World order.

Well the three guys you see on tv now are the original members. Bischoff was revealed to be part of the nWo at some point when everyone kept wondering how they got matches and what not. Basically they threatened people to join the nWo or be destroyed with the rest of WCW and the numbers just grew. Yes Mr. Perfect was a member but he went by his name Curt Henning. He then became a member of the red and black nWo when they split and then turned back to the old group later and then eventually left the nWo.

What happened to "Primetime" Elix Skipper? He his a huge talent who can accomodate X-Pac in a Cruiserwieght fued. When the WWF bought WCW, I recall seeing Elix's name on the list of wrestlers whose contracts have been purchased. Did he get bought out and sign with XPW?

He was realeased some time ago along with several others. I am guessing he is doing the indy scen or possibly XPW.

isn't it stupid that you can pin in a cage match? also, you can just walk right out of the cage thru the door. this is retarded. the whole point of the cage is u escaping it.

I hate pinfalls in a cage as well. Defeats the purpose of escaping the cage. I don't mind escaping through the door though. Hell if you can beat your opponent down enough to just walk out the door then you deserve it.

Just a simple question: Does anyone know what happened to Paul Heyman? will he be coming back or is he finished in the wrestling buisness? The only thing i've heard about him latley is that he's in the movie Rollerball. Thanks

He is still with the WWF. They just took him off tv and brought back the King and used the end of the Alliance angle to do the switch. He just works in the back behind the scenes.
