I think the WWE is over rated and recieves way too much publicity on the
internet. I'm fed up of seeing all these Oratory articles on WWE
wrestlers. I'd love to see some articles on ROH guys who could possibly
make it to the WWE. Or CZW, XPW, NWA: TNA, WWA and 3PW, all this I'd
much rather hear about that WWE. RajahWWF has covered other
organisations in the past (WCW & ECW) so why can't we see more coverage
on the other promotions now? I hope you take this under consideration,
We try to cover as many different wrestling promotions as possible, but frankly put, I myself am not very familiar with not named
WWE so usually what you do is very limited. Perhaps if one of those aforementioned promotions increases in popularity or size real quick and
steps up to seriously challenge WWE, that will all change.

Hey longtime fan of your website just wanted to know
if you will resume ppv flashbacks at anytime soon in
the future really enjoyed them look foreward to a look
back in the late 90's!!!
We're trying to get it back up, but there is no definitive word on if or when they will return. To be perfectly honest, Pete has all the tapes
and he has told me that he doesn't have enough time to write any more up anytime soon. In recent weeks and months, I have tried to gather help from readers
who have extensive PPV libraries but like I said, we'll just have to wait and see if it works out.

Just to say that your site kicks major ass!
Anyways I have a question tied in with a statement so here goes:
During the ECW days, guys like Mike Awesome, Rhino, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, the Impact Palyers and RVD all held title belts. Now I know that they are not 'up to WWE standard' )its hard to write sarcastically), but seeing as how the ratings for the WWE are falling by the wayside, so what about priming one of these wrestlers for the big time. As far as I am aware, only RVD has held a WWE belt. What about having Mike Awesome primed? I mean for a big man, he could certinally move like the best of them and his powerbomb from the top rope thru a table was simply awesome (no pun intended).
The Impact Players (Lance Storm and Juntin Credible) were one of the best tag teams in ECW. Why dont the WWE put them together? I mean it would be a breath of fresh air for the tag team section instead of having a gay team like billy and chuck being tag team champs.
Tommy Dreamer - once a ECW tag team champ and now being made to look stupid on Raw. I mean what gives? The guy derserves better.
RVD - a WWE intercontentional champ but I believe he can be elevated higher.
Now I might be sound a little biased toward ECW, but it seems to me as though the WWE needs to have something new in their ranks.
I don't think you're alone but let's address these guys individually. First off, Mike Awesome was released not too long ago. No official reason was given, but suffice to say he did not have many friends backstage and not many people liked his style either.
I'm guessing his rocky relationship with Paul Heyman also had something to do with it. Rhyno - he will definitely be pushed once he returns which should be at the end of this year or early next year perhaps even to main event status. Raven, Justin Credible and Tommy Dreamer will probably
never amount to much in WWE as the company simply does not view them as anything other than midcard fodder. RVD and Lance Storm have the best chance to get pushed to a meaningful status. I truly believe Van Dam will get there sooner or later, especially if ratings continue to tank but Storm I'm not too sure
about. This is just a personal opinion but since you mentioned ECW, I'll throw it out - I think Vince McMahon has this repulsion towards anything he did not "create". In other words, if guys got their success in places other than WWE/WWF, he is hesitant to push them. It may not be a conscious thing on his
part but it certainly holds some merit.

Hi awesome site, My question is what happened to Nick Dinsmore, Rob Conway, Batista, Shelton Benjamin, Sean O' Haire. I know they are all OVW talent, but every one of them where put on heat or velocity and never returned. Was that just to test them?
I am positive they are all still with the company, but yes, they were just put on Heat as an excuse to get them on TV. If you remember, a few months ago WWE had a pretty major roster cut where several developmental guys were let go. This is because the developmental system
was reportedly losing a lot of money and what not. Anyway, I suspect that Vince and friends decided to put those guys you mentioned on TV immediately without a storyline to justify keeping them and to show other developmental wrestlers that their faith in the territories was still intact. This is just my opinion
so don't take it as fact.

Hey, good to see the Mailbag make its triumphal return! My question is what's up with Shane? Is he out of favor or just more interested in New Media and stuff? Is there a power struggle between him and Steph/Triple H?
No power struggle according to the rumor mills so can't say anything there without it being complete speculation. But Shane is greatly immersed in the business aspects of running WWE and as you mentioned, running New Media is a big part of it. He also helps
a bit with booking, but his input is relatively limited as compared to Stephanie and Triple H. I guess you could say he does a little bit of everything right now but that's not to say he won't make a return in the near future...

I have a thought about the newly formed NWA:TNA brand. I think that it's good that the WWE has some competition. The problem is that it is not legitimate, mainstream competition. But back to the question. NWA:TNA took many people that were released from the WWE (X-Pac, Jerry Lynn, K-Kwik) and showing them for all their worth. Do you think this is a slap in the face to WWE showing how they've misused talent and do you think the WWE is paying attention to what the NWA:TNA even does? Also, do you think the WWE would possibly steal talent from the NWA:TNA itself as well?
I don't know if it's so much a slap in WWE's face as it is that the former WWE guys that they do sign are just identifiable with many wrestling fans. Let's put it this way - would you rather a complete indy wrestler named John Doe or a guy like Grand Master Sexay, K-Kwik, Road Dogg, etc. who have gotten world-wide exposure and are
known to many fans by name. From a creative aspect, they are much easier to push as their characters already have foundations and all NWA:TNA really needs to do is expand on the characters each guy has without infringing upon WWE's trademarks or copyrights. As for WWE stealing NWA:TNA's talent, they will never publically admit it, but I'm sure WWE wouldn't hold any
reservation picking someone from there if they wanted him or her bad enough.

Hi. I just wanted to add something to the response given to James about why Kane only held the WWE (WWF at the time) Title for 24 hours. Kane had stated that if he lost, he would cover himself in gasoline and light himself on fire, and that obviously wasn't going to happen, especially when the Undertaker didn't want his baby (half) brother to light himself up.
Just a FYI type thing...

Hi, i just have a question about Thrusday Oct. 25th show of Smackdown, does it mean that the Undetaker is retiring? or is he just taking a really long break? if he is, is there a return date?. Thanks guys
Even though a lot of fans would like him to, Undertaker isn't retiring yet. I have no idea how idea this leave of absence is for, but he will surely be back in time for the Royal Rumble, maybe earlier. If you didn't already know, Taker is taking the time off to recover
from some nagging injuries as well as to be with his wife Sara, since she's pregnant with their first child (he has children from a previous marriage though).

HEY YOOOOOO!!!!! whats haaaaaaaaapenninnn?????? alright im a little confused with the undertaker thing....last year when DDP was stalking the undertakers wife...she was a blonde girl named sara....right? or am i wrong....now the undertakers wife is a brunette named Victoria and she has his baby? whats goin on? thanx for clearing this up
It's called bleaching or dying one's hair. Brown is apparently her natural hair color.

Can any of you tell me what has happened to Steve Blackmen and will we get to see him on wwe tv any time soon?
WWE never came out and officially stated this, but from the information I have, Blackman is no longer with the company. I'm not sure if he was released or simply not re-signed to an extension but his wrestling career was in jeopardy due
to various health issues that came up over the past year, the most serious of which were migraine headaches.

Are there any rumors about a possible STING return to pro wrestling?
Sting isn't interested in returning to wrestling. If he does return, it will almost surely not be with WWE as he would only consider working a very light schedule.

Great Site! My question is about Chris Kanyon. Do you have anymore updates on Chris Kanyon's return to the WWE? The last time I ever saw an article on Kanyon was 2 months ago and I really want to know when he will come back again and another question is will he possibly make his WWE return as the masked wrestler Mortis? I hope you can offer some of your opinions on this.
Barring another setback, he is ready to return to WWE immediately. But as with all returns, you can't just bring a wrestler back when he's ready. There are numerous creative issues to deal with, such as what roster he will be on, whether he will be a face or a heel and what storyline he would draw into. WWE probably hasn't even figured out all that yet.

I have heard of Felina this new girl in the WWE , When will she be making
her WWE debut and will she wrestle or valet of on Smackdown ?
She has been signed to a developmental contract, but she is reportedly still several months away from debuting. I don't know much of her but she is said to be a very good wrestler. The women's section might have more info on her and they have a diva-related mailbag themselves. If you'd like to learn more, email them.

In the latest edition of Mailbag you guys talked about the "Mass Transit" incident in ECW and I thought I'd correct a few mistakes.
Mass Transit (Eric Kulahs) replaced D-Von Dudley who was scheduled to be New Jack's opponent for the night. (I can't remember why D-Von wasn't there). Anyway, Kulahs was 17 years old and did some work backstage for ECW but had never wrestled a match. He told Paul Heyman he was 19 years old and had a good deal of past wrestling experience, so he volunteered to replace D-Von. Heyman reluctantly agreed and the match went on.
The point in the match arose where Kulahs was supposed to "blade" but didn't know how so he asked New Jack to do it for him. New Jack attempted to do it, but the cut was small and produced almost no blood, so New Jack decided to legitimately hit him with objects like toasters, chairs and barbed wire. Eventually the kid became a mess and lost a ton of blood before New Jack finally ended the match. The kid was helped to the back and suffered a lot of permenant facial damage from the shots from the toaster.
Sadly, Eric Kulahs died recently (I can't remember the date off the top of my head but I think it was around March, 2002) he died from unknown causes. As for him suing ECW, I believe an out of court settlement was reached between Heyman, New Jack and Kulahs.
Just thought I'd add a little info!
Thanks.
