Jeff Hardy's April 7th performance on RAW was by far one of the worst I've
ever seen. When he wrestles he just seems tired in the ring. Slow to get
up, slow punches, and he's hunched over even when he has the upper hand. HE
acts like this even when he's not selling being beat up. The Rock threw him
out of the ring at the end and it looked like he barely made it over the
ropes. I know that he is having "issues" with his career, but do you
attribute this to his style or him not giving a rats ass. To me, you would
think that any wrestler would step up in a match with the Rock, because he
is so damn on fire right now.
Well, Jeff Hardy's lackluster performance is no longer an issue as the WWE
have "severed all ties" with Jeff, effective on 22nd April. For those
paying attention, this shouldn't come as any great surprise. There have
been a lot of rumors about Jeff losing his passion for the business and
wanting time off to concentrate on his "music". The WWE seemed to be giving
him that time but he must have stepped over the line at some recent point
because the WWE grew tired of his "issues" and kicked him to the curb.
Before anyone asks, I don't think Jeff Hardy will be gone for very long. I'
d say his firing/quitting is designed to be more of a wake up call rather
than a goodbye forever sort of thing. Jeff Hardy needs to grow up, and when
he does the WWE will hopefully welcome him back with open arms.

Hey wicked site keep it up! What do you think if we had the invasion angle
now with the number of top draw WCW stars now in the WWE. I think it would
be a success because you would have stars like Goldberg, Stiner, an
established Booker T and the NWO. Just wondered what you guys thought of it
I think that any plan the WWE formulates that has the word "invasion" in it
in ANY capacity should be immediately torn up, burnt and buried six feet
under on holy ground. Yes, the angle would have worked a great deal better
in April 2003 than it did when it actually happened because the WWE have
finally managed to bring all of the major WCW talent on board. But it's too
little too late and the chances of the invasion angle being successfully
resurrected at this point are so remote as to be located in Siberia. The
invasion angle sucked, it was handled badly and it is a subject best left in
the past.

hey you guys nice site. I have a few questions. 1) where in the blue hell is
Lex Luger?did he retire? or is he in exile? 2) I have heard alot about ken
shamrock in UFC lately and was curious as to whether or not he will come
back to the wwe. Cause i am a big shamrock fan. 3) do you think there would
be a possibility of a Diesel vs. Goldberg rematch? i mean i would love to
see those 2 go at it again. 4) How bad is Austin's neck really? or is it
just a storyline.
1. Lex Luger retire? Are you kidding? Since the demise of WCW there
have been intermittent rumors that Luger is going to show up in the WWE.
Those rumors have been given a shot in the arm recently, as some people have
been speculating that Luger will climb aboard the WWE train if Sting gets
on, and the two will face Goldberg. I don't know about that. Luger has
reached his expiry date as a wrestler and I'd put a WWE return in the
irrelevant basket.
2. There are always Shamrock comeback rumors floating around the
place. A return is possible, but unlikely. The WWE have to realize sooner
or later that adding to their already over stacked roster isn't the path to
ratings success.
3. Nash vs Goldberg is practically a certainty, but Diesel vs Goldberg
is another story.
4. Austin's neck is extremely bad. Really, he shouldn't even be
wrestling. No "bad neck" storyline needed because the truth is scary
enough.

With sites like this one, wrestling will always have a strong following
even when the ratings are down. Heres my question, what wrestler has had the
most nicknames? Stone cold has everything from " the bionic redneck" to "the
rattlesnake" and the Rock is " the peoples champ " and the "great one", but
who has had the most at one time, not the total over years of previous
gimmicks. Also I'd like you to settle an argument, Where did Jeff Jerrett
get the nickname " The
chosen one". I said it was In WCW when Vince russo became the new writer
everyone (on the Internet) said that Buff Bagwell was the next one to be
pushed, or the chosen one, but it turned out to be Jeff Jerrett. Is this
correct?
Interesting question. The answer depends on how you approach the question.
If you mean which gimmick has had the most individual nicknames, then you're
probably right with The Rock and Stone Cold. If you're asking which
wrestler in recent memory has had the most gimmicks, I think it would have
to be Al Snow. But I'm open to debate on that one. To settle your "chosen
one" debate - you're right. Russo was always high on Jarrett and many
people speculate that Jarrett knew Russo was jumping ship to WCW before
anyone else did and agreed to jump with him. Russo had been trying to get
Austin to feud with Jarrett in the WWF, but Austin refused. So when Jarrett
and Russo made the jump to WCW Russo pushed Jarrett as a main eventer - his
"chosen one" which was actually a little inside joke. As for Buff Bagwell,
I don't think he was ever going to be pushed in Golberg fashion. He's
talented, yes, but what a pain in the ass!

Hi, I know that the WWE's Grand Slam Champion is someone who won the World,
I-C, Euro., and Tag Title's. I was just wondering who those individuals are
at this point in time. Thanks.
Shawn Michaels and Triple H. That's it. However, there is a certain
section of the wrestling population who feel that Chris Jericho's name
should be included in the list of Grand Slam winners. Jericho has indeed
held all four of the WWE Grand Slam titles, but as he held his WWE World
Title in conjunction with the Heavyweight title, I choose not to include him
on the list. Isn't being the first Undisputed Champion enough for him?

Hey Aree I have a question for you since your the only one that seems to
be answering the mailbag questions now days. Back in the WCW days, there
was a tag team know as High Voltage that consisted of Robbie Rage and Kenny
Koas. I'm just wondering what happened between Kenny and WCW, because he
was getting a push, then suddenly disappeared. Also I'm wondering what
Kenny is doing now? Forums have yet to answer this question, so I guess
your my last hope.
Rajah answers questions as well, so I can't take all the credit. I did a
little digging on Robbie Rage and Kenny Kaos and apparently they're both
regulars in New Japan. If anyone else has some extra information to add,
feel free to send it in.

Hey aree. Just a couple of quick questions i hope you'll be good enough
to answer firstly a short bio i was reading of vince said he has three kids
is that true shane steph and ? also it said hulk came out on his side during
the big trial what really happened there? Finally what exactly did scott
hall do to get himself fired don't you think with nash back from injury and
goldberg signing combined with awful ratings its the perfect time to reform
the nWo possible under another banner? One last think admit you get a kick
out of the 99.9% of wwe fans who are male having to go to a girl to answer
all there questions
I don't know that I get a "kick" out of it, but it does strike me as being
quite ironic. Vince and Linda McMahon have two children, Shane and
Stephanie. Maybe the author of the biography you read was including Mick
Foley. He called Vince 'Dad' for a while. Hulk Hogan was working for WCW
when he was called to be a witness in McMahon's "Steroid Trial". He
testified that the WWF had provided him with drugs, but stopped short of
saying that he had been ordered to take them. He simply said they were
available and he had picked them up when he "picked up his pay check".
Scott Hall has a lot of problems, and his career has been stifled because of
them. He and the WWE didn't agree on the direction of his character, he
showed up late a few times and had a falling out with a few people behind
the scenes so the WWE released him. It's a shame, but it's nothing new as
far as Scott Hall is concerned. I certainly hope that the NWO isn't
reformed when Nash and Goldberg come on board. That train has left the
station. But I would like to see a comeback tour of the "2 Dudes with
Attitude".

Why wasn't Big Poppa Pump involved with Wrestlemania at all? I thought
he would get a much bigger push than he has so far?
To put it bluntly, he wasn't given a bigger push because he sucked. The WWE
had high hopes for Steiner, but Steiner simply couldn't perform at the level
necessary to stay in the title picture. In defence of Big Poppa Pump,
physically he shouldn't even be in the ring. He's had major surgery on his
back and his foot and as Rajah is so fond of pointing out, every time he
steps into the ring he's a huge injury risk. One slightly wrong move and
the guy is out for six months. It's hard to build a Wrestlemania worthy
storyline around a guy who can't perform well in the ring, isn't too great
on the mic and is ridiculously prone to injury. To sum it up, if Steiner
was on trial, you wouldn't want to pay for bail because he's a huge flight
risk. If you could float him on the stock market, buying shares in his
talent would be extremely risky. If he was a house you were thinking about
purchasing, he would look like a dream home on the surface, but underneath
he would be termite infested and riddled with dry rot. Get the picture?

Hey Raj,
I have been without a computer for awhile, and I have been going through
major Raj withdrawl. My question is, and i'm sure you have answered it
before, but iI missed it since I didn't have a running puter. How did Curt
Henning die? I was shocked to hear of his demise. I love your site, and
enjoy being back. Thanks
Another deleted name. Damn. Raj withdrawal? Several off color remarks are
springing to mind as I type this, but I'll restrain myself. I guess Jake
"The Snake" Roberts isn't the only wrestler from the 80's who likes, or in
Hennig's case liked, his crack. Hennig's official cause of death was listed
as "cocaine poisoning". It's a sad end to a man who gave a lot to the
wrestling industry.

Dear Rajah Q&A Crew,

But my real question is do you know what was the back story to Triple H's
and Ultimate Warriors wrestlemania matchup @ 96?
Sorry. I deleted this guy's name. Again. But I'll answer the question and
hope that all is forgiven. McMahon wanted the Ultimate Warrior to face a
new up and coming wrestler by the name of Hunter Hearst Helmsley at
Wrestlemania 12. The Warrior agreed, but insisted that the match should be
a squash - meaning that he would flatten poor Hunter in about 30 seconds.
McMahon initially refused, realizing that Helmsley had real talent and
squashing him could damage his character. However when Hunter caught wind
of the idea he told McMahon he didn't mind going down in a squash, and the
rest as they say, is history.

Do u reckon it would be a good idea for WWE to put the WCW brand up for
sale if at all possible? I know the company took a lot of bashing during the
invasion angle, but it could result in WWE getting some established
competition and with the ratings falling it may cause the management to pull
their fingers out. what do u think?
Several problems with this idea: 1. Who would want to buy the WCW "brand"
without any of the star power? 2. Who has the money to buy WCW and to run
it? 3. Who would be crazy enough to buy what is essentially a brand name at
a time when wrestling is struggling in the ratings and struggling to
maintain a fan base? 4. Vince McMahon would never admit that his business
thrived on competition, and indeed needs it to stay alive. He probably
wouldn't even consider selling, even if someone wanted to buy. Hey, Vinnie
Mac, I'll buy it. I've got ten bucks around here somewhere.
