hey bro ! My name is Paul Moroney from the Republic of IRELAND and i just wanted to share my anger with the commentry of the WWE. Whenever there is a PAY-PER-VIEW on I always get it in because i love wrestling and have followed yhe WWE. for about 12 years now and with me only being 21 that is a long time. It cost me euros 21.99 every time there is an event on and the commentators of WWE. always tank the fans in the U.K. for staying up tlii 1'o clock to watch it well guse what we here in IRELAND have to do the same thing and no we are not a part of the U.K. It really annoys me. We fought for 800 years to break away from British rule but seemingly the WWE. commentry team dont seem to know about history.

"Bro"? I think you're taking it all a little too seriously there, Paul. The WWE commentators are just that - commentators. They aren't politicians and they aren't particularly concerned with trying to address the distinctions between the UK and Ireland. You know that Ireland isn't part of the UK, I know it and anyone who knows anything about world geography, history and politics knows it. Don't reply on WWE commentators for validation of your country's independent status. That's like relying on the tooth fairy to do your taxes - completely inappropriate.

Hey guys,Great site u got there!!! i luv the mailbag i was just wondering why wrestlers have to shave their legs and underarm but not their chest and thier backs, cuz a really hairy chest or back is sort of gross(like alberts 4 example)see ya..

Wrestlers don't have to shave or wax their legs, chests, underarms, arms etc unless they want to. Bodybuilders do it because it gives their muscles more definition and I suspect wrestlers do it for the same reason. I agree that "A Train's" back hair is pretty disgusting, but I guess he isn' t in the business of making himself look pretty. Besides, have YOU ever had anything waxed? It hurts like hell.

when brian pillman died, i know it was before a match scheduled with goldust but just before jr announced he had been found in a dumpster dead, is there anymore to the story and why was it said without much follow up or detail, was it due to drugs?

You have to love the way rumors get started. First of all, Brian Pillman was not "found dead in a dumpster". He was found dead in his hotel room. The story is that he had a heart defect which brought about his untimely death. However, it was well known that Pillman was suffering from an ankle injury he sustained in a car accident and like most wrestlers, he was probably using a steroid based drug to rehab the injury. The drawback of using such drugs is that they put stress on your heart and if you already have heart problems, then there is a good chance that using such drugs long term is going to kill you. Steroids are bad news, people and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

hey why are regal's weapons known as "knucks" i swear they have never called them brass knuckles, could that be a stupid censor thing like not drinking on tv, also.....WTF? that 10th anniversary was such a dissapointment. all that hype, and trish stratus gets diva of the decade....dude sunny turned gay guys straight (true story.....i know a guy)

Sunny turned gay guys straight? That's a classic comment. Also classic is the idea that the WWE are not allowed to broadcast the term "brass nuckles". They've been called brass nucks in wrestling for as long as I can remember, so I assume it's an automatic thing for JR and the King to refer to them as "nucks" and not "nuckles". Don't read too much into it. But thanks for the email Marc, because you made me laugh.

I personally think that the signing of Nathan Jones is just silly. While its great to see Brian Kendrick get a heathy underdog push and The Hurricane get an almost clean pinfall over The Rock, the signing of Nathan Jones, who sucks really as a wrestler and has been hired soley for his looks and character, has taken place. It seems that also with cruiserweight squashers like A-Train, Rikishi and Bill Demott that cruiserweights will never get their day in the sun despite the rays of hope that are breaking through. Can I have your comments on the Cruiserweight situation and what do you think of Nathan Jones?

Unfortunately, I don't think the Cruiserweight division will ever amount to much. WWE has apparently tried many times to push the division and make it an important part of their company, but the "push" only seems to last a few weeks and before long, the division is just pushed to the backburner. This is just my own opinion, but I think it's because Vince McMahon has this notion that bigger is better and whether it be advertent or inadvertent, he just gives more of his time and focus to the larger guys and that's the way it will always be as long as he is running the promotion. As for Nathan Jones, I'm not going to say that he should never have been signed, but he certainly doesn't appear to be ready to wrestle full-time on TV in front of thousands of people. I'm sure WWE management also realizes this which is why he has rarely wrestled and why he's been written out of storylines for the time being, probably so he can further brush up his wrestling skills (if any even exist).

Hey guys...

This is a stupid question, but I've been thinking about it recently. I've been visiting rajah.com for almost five years now, and the site keeps getting bigger and bigger, and better and better.

So my question is, for anybody working on the site, is this still fun? After 6 or 7 years, are you having as much fun now as you where back on Angelfire or whatever it was?

Your hard work is greatly appreciated!!

Well honestly, I'm not having as much fun as I did back in the early parts of the site's existence. I think a big part of that is just that wrestling in general isn't as good as it used to be, and often it gets tedious and even frustrating covering an industry that seems like its stuck in neutral and at times in reverse. But at the same time, I still enjoy keeping various parts of the site updated on a day-by-day or week-by-week basis so I don't forsee myself quitting or anything.

Hey guys, awesome and very informative site. I love it. Anyway, I have a couple of questions. I know that there have been speculations of Ken Shamrock coming back to the WWE since it was called the WWF and earlier. I know he had injuries and was creating "Pride Fighting" and all that and was waiting for that to get up and running, and get good ratings. I was just wondering if he was still interested in coming back, because he used to be my favorite wrestler and he put on some GREAT matches (i.e. w/Owen Hart and Dan "The Beast" Severn as the guest referee) and he was known as the World's Most Dangerous Man, and The Man that would snap at the drop of a hat. They have kind of transfered that image to Brock Lesnar now with the intensity he wrestles with. I was wondering what was going on with Shamrock and if you speculate him coming back soon. Because I think he may help the poor recent ratings. Also what happened to Steve Blackman? Where is he now? On! e more thing. Who are these guys on the commercials now that are foreign, saying that the Americans will pay, etc...?

Shamrock - I don't think he will be back in WWE, but negotiations have taken place between the two sides on-and-off for the past few years. The reason I don't think Shamrock will be back is because a) he is getting up there in age and b) his "gimmick" of being "The World's Most Dangerous Man" is no longer valid and even tarnished in a way. He's been out of the limelight for so long that if they brought him back, WWE would need to give him a new identity and push him all over again, just like they would with a young wrestler. Financially, it would make sense too as Shamrock would demand much more than your average rookie coming up the ranks. As for Steve Blackman, it's been answered here in the mailbag many times. He had some major medical/health problems and his contract was reportedly not renewed. So he is no longer on WWE's payroll as far as I know. And finally, the tag team you speak of has since been revealed as "Les Resistance", comprised of Renee Dupre and Sylvain Grenier.

My question is about my favorite wrestler, The Hurricane. I've noticed he's suddenly soared high on the RAW chain of wrestlers in a short amount of time. Not that he has a lot of wins (1 semi-clean win over The Rock) to show off against the bigger superstars, but how far do you think the WWE is going to push him with the storylines going on? Maybe a title shot... in a year? Hey, if they're pushing John Cena at SmackDown! (I like him, actually), why not Hurricane?

A title shot, maybe. But it's not like he's going to win the title. Unfortunately though, there are just too many guys ahead of him and a lot of politics in place for Hurricane to really become anything more than a glorified mid-carder. In fact, he's already begun to fade into the background and I guess you can kinda compare his situation to Jeff Hardy circa 2001, where he was battling with Steve Austin and Triple H for a few weeks, but then was basically destroyed and fell back down and never recovered. That is the way it is in WWE nowadays.

On an edition of RAW about a year ago a fan jumped in the ring and pushed eddie off a ladder then eddie punched the fan in the face do u know who the fan was?

No, I don't. At first I thought "what the hell, how am I supposed to identify a fan" but then I remembered that this Raw took place in Edmonton (where I live) and so I guess maybe that's why you asked?

hi guys great site happy i found it what i wanted to ask is where in the hell is jackie gator please dont tell me vince has let her go cos she had so much potential she so should have won tough enough because in my opinion nidia is crap

Jackie Gator? I hope you mean Jackie Gayda, in which case she is still with but basically in the developmentals training. And I didn't really follow Tough Enough too closely because it was always tape delayed up here in Canada, but didn't Jackie win the second one while Nidia won the first one?

Hi. I was wondering if Scotty Too Hotty of the WWE was ever going to come back and wrestle. I didn't think he was, but he recently did an autograph signing through the WWE. But, he hasnt been on tv at all, and is not on the roster. So will he ever be back?

Barring a setback, he should be back within the next couple of months or so.

From: Average Joe
Hey yo Raj, this is Average Joe from the forums... (I don't think I have to tell you how great the site is, but it is a great site) Anyways, I noticed that now your Smackdown spoilers results are now "exclusive" to the site. If I remember correctly, Dan The Man used to provide the spoilers, but stoppped at some point (I think it was last year.) So, the question is, how are you getting the "exclusive" spoilers now?

No comment. Wink, wink.
