| rajah.com Mailbag, Edition #7 -By Grandpa, Kayfabe and Rajah |
Alright, I have re-opened the Mailbag section with the help of two individuals, Kayfabe and Grandpa. Hopefully, it will work out better this time, as the above individuals will handle the great BULK of the emails.
Here are the steps to take if you like your question answered in the Mailbag section:
1. Please check to see that your question(s) have not been answered on any other sections of the page. Take great note of the FAQ Part I and FAQ Part II.
2. Send a legibly written question or comment to Rajah_WWF@Hotmail.Com. Please try to keep it short, since if it is too long, it will be prone to editting.
3. ALL email sent there may potentially be included in the Mailbag. If you do not want your response posted, do NOT send it there!
4. If a name is included, I will post it along with the email. If you do not want your name published, do NOT write it!
5. Remember, it is impossible that every email I receive get posted on this page. Only the best and most popular questions/comments will likely make it on.
6. Also remember, that questions will be answered by either Kayfabe or Grandpa, so any personal remarks should be addressed accordingly. The following color scheme will be used:Rajah - GREEN
Grandpa - RED
Kayfabe - YELLOW
IMPORTANT!!!
If you have anything to add to any of these questions/comments or even my remarks, please email me. I'm not claiming that all my info is correct, as I'm sure
that some of it is inaccurate as well. PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS ABOVE AND NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE EMAIL ADDRESS!!!
Before we get started, a big thank you to: Shambler and DDDandN, for sending in the Ryan Shamrock links. Here is the Scooby Doo link: click here For those of you who can't get enough of the very hot Ms. Shamrock, try this one: click here

What's up with ECW always talking about WWF and WCW.Taz and other guys are always saying stuff like Austin your next or Rick Flair I'm gonna get you.How come the WWF can't say stuff to WCW like that.Does ECW have permission to say stuff like that or do they just say it and hopefully get away with it.
P.S Please post this in your mailbag.
Thanks,
ECW is the new kid on the block. Any controversy they can create would be a feather in their cap. By responding to their accusations the WWF and WCW, would be giving ECW free publicity and exposure, the last thing the big two would want.

I love the mailbag section, i was so glad when i found out that you brought it back. anyways, one question: Is Hulk Hogan accually running for president of the USA or is he just thinking of it cus i havn't heard much of him campaignin' or anything along that line?
thanx
NO, thank God! Once again, this was a poorly worked angle. But, then again, he would do a better job than Clinton!
From:Darkwolf
hey i love your site.i have a few kane questions for you:
1: do you think that kane will ever join DX? (the remaining DX)
2: do you think he will ever remove his mask?
3: do you think he will ever get the heavyweight strap again?
thanks
1)This is a possibility. There are quite a few different ways this angle could develope.
2)Very unlikely, this would ruin his gimmick.
3)Very possible, he seems to be getting a slight push of late.
From:Taznomar
Hey what are the chances of Sabu or Tommy Dreamer moving on to the WWF? They
don' t seem to be getting a great push anymore in ECW. I would love to see
Sabu in matches again with Mankind and Chris Jericho.
It is very doubtful, that we will ever see either of them in the WWF. It has been reported that Tommy Dreamer is very loyal to Paul Heyman and ECW. Dreamer is also rumored to be facing a career ending back injury. Losing Sabu, would be a critical blow to ECW, I don't think Heyman would let him get away.
From:Headkorn60
When H-H-H used teh sledgehammer on Mankinds knee, was it real? They way
Mankind was screaming it looked s if he was really hurt.
No, it was a well planned work. Mankind needed knee surgery before this incident, and this angle allowed him the opportunity to do so.
From:Tazz4345
WHEN DO U THINK KEN SHAMROCK WILL LEAVE THE WWF TO PURSUE HIS UFC CAREER AND
WHEN DO U THINK HE WILL BE BACK AND DO U THINK EITHER THE BIG SHOW
MANKIND OR SHAMROCK WILL EVER GO FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND ONE MORE WHEN
EXACTLY IS MICK COMING BACK?
The next UFC card will be held on September 24th, so expect Shamrock's departure before this date. As for his return, nothing is guaranteed. A lot of things can happen in the interim period of his abscence.
In my humble opinion, The Big Show, will one day wear the belt. I can see Mankind, challenging for the Hardcore title as soon as he is cleared to return to the ring. I would expect Mankind to resurface shortly before SummerSlam.
From:Vindicate
I also have 2 questions:1)What is a tornado match?
2)Not that anybody cares but how do you spell
Mideon/Midian? On the little intro box, its spelled
MIDEON, but on a shirt he wore its spelled MIDIAN.Whats up with that?
I got more questions but I'll ask em later.
A tornado match is a tag-team match when all four individuals are in ring at the same time.
It would seem either spelling is correct.
I dunno. Maybe, a marketing gimmick to get you to buy more shirts. SCSA, has a new shirt every week. Why can't Mideon? LOL
From:Ryan
What happened to the Union?
With the injury to Mankind and the soon departure of Ken Shamrock, this angle looks to be finished. Maybe, when Mankind returns a revised union can be formed.

In the mailbag you mention the Unknown Grappler whenever you say "stirring
the pot." I was just wondering what or who you are talking about
He is a forum regular, we like to give plugs to the regulars. We here at the mailbag, are hopelessly into self-aggrandizement.
Are you a Dook fan? This is Tarheel country!
From:Pleaser199
Do you think the wwf is interested in signing Curt Hennig in the future? The
WCW is totally ruining a great career.
I was also wondering if you had any thoughts on the death of Rick Rude... and
could you possibly post some picks of him on your sight?
I would consider this scenario to be very unlikely. Hennig, does not exactly fit into the WWF's youth movement. I do agree with you that Hennig's ability is being wasted.
From:Mark e.b.
this maybe a a stuiped question but here it goes anyway
Is wcw legally allowed to use the name sting seeing how it is used by the
singer sting??
I would think that it is safe to say that Sting is legally able to use the name. After all, he's used it for more than 10 years.
From:Sala720
Hey Rajah,
Jeff Jarrett says he is the greatest IC champion of all time.I don't
think it's true.Who do you think is the best?
Jarrett, does indeed have a lot of talent. However, to crack the following list would be impossible for him to accomplish. In no particular order:
1)Bret Hart
2)Curt Hennig
3)Don Muraco
4)Ricky Steamboat
5)Pedro Morales
6)Kerry VonErich
7)Diesel
8)Owen Hart
9)Ken Shamrock
Well, it looks like he would make the top 10.
From:VFarmakaki
Great site. I have one question Why does the WWF always make the person who
gets scewed at the Raw before the PPV lose? It's getting very predictable.
Please Post
Great question, wish I could answer it for you. I have been wondering about this myself lately. Maybe, the WWF, will throw us a curve ball.
From:Kent
Just wanted to say I love your site, and ask you a quick question.
1. I have heard before that the wwf had the rights to the demolition gimmick, if they do why don't they put two skilled guys in the suits and dress them up to look like the old demolittion, Don't you think that they would go over. They are one of the greatest tag teams of all time. If not are there any chance that they might come back
Yes, the WWF, does own the rights to the name. After all of the other "fakes" the WWF has tried to pass off on us, I don't think this would be a wise move. I seriously doubt that they will ever return, their lawsuit burned their bridges.
From:TCreps9647
hello gents. I have a couple of questions. 1. who would win in a fight,
S.D. Special Delivery Jones VS. Norman Smiley.
Later.
Ummm...... How about a double count out, or outside interference?
From:Rocky2316
Hey Rajah great site, i only have a couple of questions:
1) y was ahmed
johnson fired from the wwf,my friends said it was because he did real moves
like ddt's and such
2) was phyco sid fired from wwf because he stabbed Arn Anderson in the arm w/
scissors???
3)and my last question is is Kane ever gonna get a real title run,
because he only had the belt for like a day then he lost it to SCSA. please
put this in the mailbag.....great site!!!
1)Yes, Ahmed was terminated by the WWF. He wasn't the best in-ring worker, his numerous injuries did not help his cause either.
2)Sid was fired from WCW, not the WWF, for the above said reason.
3)Kane seems to be getting a mild push, a title run is not out of the question.
From:Teri
Hey Raj great site i was wondering are Kane and Undertaker really
brothers and will Kane ever be un masked.
No, they are not brothers. If Kane were to be unmasked it would ruin his gimmick.
From:Matt
Hey guys, I have a question for the mailbag. Its not really a WWF
question, but does tie into it. Remember back in the early 90's when
Ric Flair came to the WWF and he had the WCW or NWA (whatever it was
back then) belt? Did they let him take the belt or did he just show up
on WWF TV with it? Also during this period I used to watch WCW and
noticed they had a different championship belt (when Vader & Sting were
champs) Then, long after this I noticed that around the time Hogan was
winning WCW titles the old Flair title was back and I think they are
still using this belt today. So what did they do with the Vader/Sting
belt and how did they get back to using Flair's?
Before Ric Flair departed the NWA/WCW, he actually purchased the belt from the financially strapped Crockett Promotions. Since he owned the belt, the NWA/WCW could not use its likeness. I would guess on his return he consented for them to re-introduce the belt back into service.
From:Rob C.
I know that a lot of people have noticed that Sparky Plugg, excuse me,
Hardcore Holly has been given a push, and many of them don't like it. Do
you think there is a title in his future? Remember, not only is he a former
hardcore champ, but also a former tag champ (with X-Pac). Also, wasn't he
and IC champ for about 1 day? (I recall him and gold dust having something
over the belt when Golddust was champ)
I honestly can't see "Hardcore" Holly ever achieving anything greater than the Hardcore title. His ability does not warrant a major title. Holly has never been recognized as an I/C Champion.
From:Bennio
Dear Rajah's,
Great site! My question is about X-pac. Did he get fired from wcw
and if so, why? Also, do you think Hall, Nash and X-pac will ever
reunite in WWF or wcw.Thanks.
Yes, X-Pac was released by WCW. Eric Bishoff, even went as far as to bad mouth X-Pac on live television. I really doubt that the three will ever reunite in the ring. Hall and Nash, both have close to two years left on their current contracts. Neither of the two, will then fit into the WWF's youthful storylines/ angles.
From:Bradley
Great job answering questions. You may have answered these sometime back, but I've just recently got back into wrestling and wouldn't know.
1. In Wrestlemania 13 during the Austin/Hart match. Was Austin supposed to be bleeding that much?
2. Was Underfaker originally supposed to replace Undertaker without anybody noticing.
3. Where is Yokozuna?
4. With rumors of Debra leaving JJ, Do you think that he can be successful on his own. Or will he be faded out or part of some alliance?
Thanks
1)It could be possible that he "bladed" a little to much.
2)Sometimes, I wonder too, how dumb the WWF thinks the fans really are. But they keep on laughing all the way to the bank.
3)The last known whereabouts of Yokozuna, had him as the head wrestling instructor at Buffalo Wrestling Federation (BWF) in Las Vegas.
4)Jarrett, has all the talent in the world. The key is getting over with the fans, which could be a problem without Debra.
From:Magurk75
1) WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE WRESTLER ABE "KNUCKLEBALL" SHWARTZ
He is probably wrestling in the Independent circuits under one of the following persona's:Brooklyn Brawler- maybe he will return to the WWF.
Dionk the clown#3(check out bad boys of wrestling)
Kim Chee
Or maybe even under Steve Lombardi.
From:NEobiShOp
Whatever happened to Aguila? I saw him wrestle Taka at WM14 (I think, might
have been something else) He had tremendous talent, and almost won the title
He is still with the WWF, wrestling under the name Papi Chulo.
From:JD
When Hardcore Holly got the car pushed on him by Big Show I know that couldnt
have been too real but I do give credit cuz it looked like it! How did WWF pull that one off??
The car missed hitting Holly. Close, but no cigar. :-(

1. A lot of people say that the WWF should have people keep the titles for
longer periods of time, cause otherwise it loses its perstige. Well I feel
with 12 ppv's and weekly raw's, and house shows, the title has to change
often. What do you think about this??
2. In my opinion The Macho Man is on eof the greatest of all time, i know
his recent actions have lowered him, but is there any hope of him returning
to the WWF?
3. When would you expect The Big Show to get his first title reign, cause I
think he is the best. Is there a chance of TBS and Chris Jerico starting a
feud over both being in WCW?
4. Finally, why don't you go to WWF headquaters and knock Lucas out of his
position and actually take it over, that would be great.....
Well keep up the good work! It has turned into a great site....
1)The longer that the title is held the more recognition the title reign receives.
2)I wouldn't think so. Once again, this doesn't fit into the WWF's youth oriented roster.
3)Hopefully, very soon. If TBS, were to be used correctly, he would rule the wrestling world. Jericho, is more likely headed for the I/C contention.
4)We try to contain Rajah's temper. This is not always easy, but we try.
From:KJ
First off, thanks for answering my questions last week. Since I like having
my name and thoughts posted on such a great site, I dug up a few more.
1)--could you specifically describe the rules of a War Games match from WCW
PPV. I know there's two teams and kind of has royale rumble entrance rules,
but I can't figure out how it works and how it is won.
2)--Is Bret Hart planning on a book anytime soon?
3)--Was the Bret Hart interview on Nitro a work? I think it may have been
because it was posted on the net that he is scheduled to face Hogan at
Halloween Havoc, but on Nitro he said he doesn't know if he will wrestle
again. What's up with this situation?
1)Once all the combatants have entered the cage the match actually begins. It continues until one individual surrenders, costing his team the match.
2)I wouldn't be surprised, although nothing has been confirmed to date.
3)I'm sure the interview was a work, however, I am not 100% convinced Bret Hart will return to the ring. Only time will tell.
From:Art
Cant Rena Mero just have her name changed to sable. You see ads on T.V.
about changing your name for a certain amount of money so why cant she?
Sable could change her name to anything she likes. However, the WWF own the rights to the name. Therefore, she cannot use it for any personal gains.

Hey Raj! Love the site. I've got a few questions that I hope you can answer:
1) Why did the WWF release Nicole Bass, Ryan Shamrock, and Shannon Hall?
I thought the WWF wanted to build up its women's division, not break itdown.
2) Why was Luna Vachon suspended? And will she be returning to the ring
anytime soon?
3) Whatever happened to the Latino World Order (LWO)? And is Eddie
Guerrero now a face?
4) Is it true that Shamrock wants to go back to Ultimate Fighting?
Thanks for your time.
1)Bass was let go because she was not happy with her salary. She claims that a deal previously agreed upon was later nixed. Ryan Shamrock was offered a new contract. She was either unhappy with her salary or the language within the contract. Shannon Hall was released due to the fact the WWF had no current angles to place her in.
2)She was suspended due to altercations with Sable. Rumor has it that she will soon be returning to the WWF.
3)It died a painful death. Guerrero, may be a face now, but it probably won't last very long.
4)Shamrock will be returning to the UFC. Look for him to depart after SummerSlam.
From:JHall
Wuz up Rajah? I have a few quick questions for ya:
1.) There are a lot of rumors on relationships in wrestling (Michaels,
Whisper ect.), can you tell me of any others?
2.) Is Scott Hall Kevin Nash's suprise tag team partner for Nitro? Just
Curious.
3.) What ever happened to the fake Razor Ramon?
4.) Do you think Debra will ever be Stone Cold's manager. I mean they are
already dating. Thanks a lot. Keep up the good work.
1)SCSA and Debra, DDP and Kimberly, Macho and Gorgeous George.
2)Sounds like thats what they are leading up to.
3)D'OH!
4)This is a very likely scenario, then again it may be to obvious.
From:Angelique
Are Edge and Christian really brothers?
No, they are not brothers.

1. What are the chances of Tatanka returning to the WWF?
2. What are the real names of Rodney and Pete Gas?
3. How old is Debra?
4. Is Prince Albert George"The Animal"Steele's son as there is an
uncany resemblance?
5. What is Jim Neidhart doing these days?
1)Pretty slim.
2)Sorry, I don't know. Anyone out there have further information?
3)Again, no one knows for sure, but I'm guessing in her mid 30s.
4)No, he is not really George's son. The WWF had originally planned on introducing him as his kid, but after the Oddities went off TV, it was not necessary.
5)Neidhart has been working with the Hart's Canadian Stampede promotion.
From:Nestor
(1) Wrestlemania VII was scheduled to take place at the Memorial
Colesium in Los Angeles, Calif., but instead took place at the Sports
Arena. Why?
I believe this was due to the LA earthquake. Considerable damage was done to the coliseum, rendering it uncapable of hosting the event.
From:TyPHeOuS
Hey, throughout whats all going on do you think Jericho will come as a heel
or a face? which do you think would be better for him? Personally I would
like to see him as a Face. Thanks
This is an impossible call to make. Jericho has the potential for either category, not to mention the mic skills to carry him far...
From:StyerSPP
1. What happened to Brakus?
2. When The Rock won the WWF title at the Judgement Day PPV. He won it by
putting Mankind in a sharpshooter, and having Vince call for the bell, even
though Mankind didn't tap out. Was this done to make fun of the Bret Hart
screwjob?
1. Brakus, for those that don't know was the German wrestler that the WWF had signed and had hoped would make it big based on his physique and natural talent. However, problems with ways of introducing him into storylines (because of lack of mic skills on Brakus' part) eventually led to his release.
2. Yes, it was done to mock the Bret screwjob but the PPV was actualyl called "Deadly Game" and was the one year anniversary (or close enough I believe) of the Survivor Series 1997 incident.
From:Danny
I heard Austin was gonna fued with Jarret! Isnt this a bad idea. Jarett
shouldnt even be the intercontinental champ and he should be feuding with the
likes of xpac and d-lo and gangrel but not austin. If this happened would
they be pushing him to a main event status.
I sort of disagree. Although there is no doubt that Austin is head and shoulders above Jarrett in terms of drawing power, an eventual between the two is primarily aimed at getting Jarrett over and leaving Austin's reputation and main event status intact. If you jog your memory a bit, the same thing sort of happened when Austin feuded with an IC-champ Rocky Maivia. And look what happened there.
From:Jesse
OK, I asked the DTA this question and they still havent posted their
f*ckin fans forum but anyways here is my question. I was watching
Summerslam 94 cuase i rented and the main event was Undertaker vs
Undertaker. I was just wondering who the other Undertaker was and if it
said on the next Raw or something i wouldn't know because i just started
watching around december. Thanks.
This question has been answered I believe, but here it goes again, in somewhat of a condensed version. The real Undertaker disappeared after a match against Yokozuna in which he was stuffed in a casket. For months, the WWF hyped that "Taker sightings" were taking place around the world, although no one could claim to have come in contact with him. Finally, Ted DiBiase revealed to the world that he had spoken with Undertaker and was gonna bring him back to the fed as his protege. Soon thereafter, Paul Bearer also claimed he was in contact with Undertaker and for some reason as if everyone knew there was a fake Taker and a real Taker, a match was signed between Bearer's and DiBiase's Undertaker. The real one was Mark Calloway on Paul's side and the fake one was Brian Lee (NOT Harris as many like to call him), who has also been in the WWF has Chainz of the DOA
From:Edge Gangrel
Dear Rajah,
1)I was just wondering what the chance's are of the WWF ever coming to Australia to do a PPV or some RAW shows??
and 2)Is there any chance of Undertaker ever going back to a face role cause he was so much better as one?
Thanks!!!
1)Although I can't put any sort of concrete date on it, I am confident when I say that the WWF will tour Australia sooner or later. I have spoken with some "insiders" who have stated that the fan-base in Australia is just too large to pass up. As well, WHEN the WWF does come down under, I would thoroughly expect it to be for at least a RAW and possibly a customized-PPV.
2)That's a tough question to answer, as it mainly depends on how storylines are progressed from now until Undertaker retires. Apart from Steve Austin, I'd say everyone is fair game for a heel or face turn and Undertaker is no different. However, it would be a bit tricky to do with him seeing as how stuff he has recently been doing make one an instant heel.
From:the Great One
hey raj, i still have to credit your site!!!, just a few questions:
(a) the feud between austin and owen( R.I.P), is that why austin didnt go to
the funeral and went hunting instead?? the wwf said he doesnt cope with
funerals but i dont believe that i just think austin should have paid some
respect to him even though he didnt like him, cos it was a horrible way to
go out.
(b) its a fact now that austin and debra are dating, is that why they are
having an angle between austin and jarret?? cos i heard they were splittingup??
(c) do u think there should be another title in the heavyweight division cos
there are too many wrestlers contending for that title such as, the rock,
taker, hhh, mankind,kane,babg?, austin.....??
(d)was xpac max moon, u know that bloke that came out and fired streamers
out of his blue costume, well arm??? i know he was the 123 kid!
(e) there is 1 thing i have always wanted to know... when macho man and jake
the snake wresteld ( i dont know when or what ppv) but roberts wrapped mm in
the ropes, well his arms and jakes snake bit him, could u tell me what
happened here cos its bugged me ever since.THANKS
a)Although I am in no position to say why Austin didn't go to the funeral, I can say that there still was some legit heat stemming from the Summerslam incident, where Owen botched the piledriver. However, it wasn't as if the two hated each other, but more of Austin holding some ill feelings towards Owen as a WRESTLER.
b)I doubt it. I would guess that even if Austin and Debra weren't dating, this angle would be taking place.
c)Personally no. The problem right now is that both the I-C and Euro titles have taken a bit of a fall in terms of reptuation and status. It seems the WWF has totally pushed those belts on the backburner. Another belt wouldn't really answer any of the problems.
d)No, not the same person. But if you want to see who Max Moon is, switch over to WCW and take a long hard look at Konnan...
e)It wasn't on a PPV, just a weekly snow. The snake was de-venomized, but really bit Macho's skin. So in short, it didn't do much harm.
From:Saint503
I was wondering where is Gillberg? Does he wrestle at house shows? Because if
he is I'm missing some good stuff. I'm not a Gillberg fanatic but do you
think that Gillberg could be behind GTV? He is a crazy redneck and it would
make some sort of sense. By the way awesome site!
Gillberg is still under WWF contract, however, lack of storylines prevent him appearing on a consistent basis. You also have to remember that Gillberg's character has pretty much done all it was supposed to. It was never intended for any long term angle, but rather to mock his WCW counterpart. I am guessing the WWF will keep him around, just so WCW doesn't decide they want him too.

Mailbag stuff....
1. there are 2 ways to put on a match, have it ALL scripted or have
wreslters "pass moves", tel each other ahead of time, so which format
does WWF follow? ECW? i imagine the undercard passes, since theres not
important. But is an Austin/Taker match TOTALLY SCRIPTED?
2. I was wacthing the Mankind/Taker Buried ALive match, and i was
wondering if you knew the design of the Burial mound, because mankind
got buried pretty far but then GOT UP, and taker mustve left the mound
because all that dirt wouldve crushed him. Help me figure this outplease.
3. Do you know where the Patriot is now? im asking this because some guy
who looked like the Patriot was wrestling in a GA based promotion i went
to see. he had the Gimmick and made Japan refrences, so i think he's the
real deal..
1)It's not really a strict policy that each promotion follows, but rather depends on the individual wrestlers involved. A Taker-Austin match, for example, would contain the majority on the basis of prior scripting and some improvision along the way.
2)No idea. I'm not sure what you're really talking about and even if I did, I probably wouldn't know. Sorry.
3)It probably is. Patriot has long been released from the WWF and is lobbying for them to sign him once again. At the present time, he works many independent cards around the country.
From:Darth Pray
Hey Raj great site! I have just one quick question so here goes. I know that sometimes wrestlers have true heat for one another. Has it ever happened that 2 wrestlers who realy didn't like each other turned a worked match into a shoot? If this were to happen how would the WWF stop the match? Thanks
Yes, it has happened before, but is becoming more and more rare. I can't remember specifics of who exactly was involved, but I do remember Andre the Giant in one legit "shoot match" as well as Earthquake/John Tenta. Basically the WWF can't do much, they just have to hope for the best and hope the match ends relatively quickly. Or they conceivably could make someone run-in and interfere. Not sure.

I have some questions about some rumors I've heard as of late.
1) Are the Headbangers going to reunite? And if so do you see them getting the tag team belts?
2) I heard that Vader was arrested for possession of cocaine, is this why he was fired?
3) Is Hulk Hogan returning to lead the Corperation or take over the Union? I hear that WCW is paying him on an appearance deal, so he could leave anytime.
4) With the King running for Mayor of Memphis, and the Big Bossman supposedly running for Mayor of his hometown, do you see Vince running for Mayor of Greenwich or Governor of Connecticut? I was just wondering since he's supposed to step down, maybe he's really going to step up?
5) Finally, was it ever announced who's car it was that Chyna, HHH and Billy Gunn spray painted? I think it would be funny if they announced it to be Michael Cole's. Well that's all,
1)Good chance they will either re-unite or feud but according to sources, if they reunite it will probably not end up being as the Headbangers.
2)He was fired because he failed to reduce his weight to the specificities outlined by the WWF.
3)No, he is not. I doubt he'll even come back, let alone as part of a stable. That would be a waste.
4)I doubt it.
5)As far as I know, they didn't reveal it and probably never will.

You wanna vote for me? Wicked. Anyways, I have no idea what this thing is and to show my ignorance, I'll say I don't know who Hyatte is either. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as I don't really look towards "internet awards" to drive my motivation. If I like what I'm doing and people like it as well, it's all good.

1) This is a question for Rajah. Can you please back up your claim on why
you believe Wade Keller isn't such a reliable source of information?
2) Short and to the point, can you explain the rivalry between Hogan and
Ventura?
1)I don't recall ever saying that. In fact, I consider Wade to be one of the most reliable sources, apart from Meltzer. However, as far as I'm concerned, no internet reporter's words should be taken as god-sent since a lot of it is based on pure speculation. On the same token, Keller was responsible for the Hogan-to-WWF rumors that started last year and resulted in the whole internet community going ape-shit. That is the biggest outburst over a false rumor I have ever seen.
2)Jealousy! This goes back to their "old" AWA days.

Rajah, definite congrats on your site. It's the best yet. I try to visit it every day. I've been watching wrestling all my life and I got some questions I would like to be answered:
1. When Chris Jericho does manage to come to WWF, do you think he will use his same role as in WCW? Like the daddy-o crap and stuff.
2. Even though I'm totally devoted to Stone Cold, I would like to see him go completely heel, like pissing off the fans and stuff like that again. Do you think that is in the future?
3. About Hogan coming back to the WWF: what's up with that? First he goes on TV and disrespects the WWF, calling it a X-Rated show and then wants to join it back up? Personally, I hope he does so he can get his old ass kicked!
4. I would really love to see a WWF versus WCW video game in the future. Any thoughts on that? Also, I heard for New Years Eve, I heard that WCW and WWF would make a show together with their wrestlers fighting each other. Is this true?
5. Last one. Will Goldberg and Austin ever fight? Cause my chips would be on Austin because of his mic skills/charisma but also on Goldberg because of his athetisism. He's one ripped guy! The problem is he has four moves that I've seen him use (I watch WCW rarely): Spear, Jackhammer, the leg lock thing and the gorrila press slam thing he does. Who do you think would win?
Thanks and keep up the GREAT work on your site!
1)I don't believe so, but it may be that he will still use the Chris Jericho name but with another gimmick.
2)Of course, anything is possible, but I don't see Austin going heel, unless it happens in the very latter stages of his career. That's just my opinion though.
3)He won't be coming back. Not unless, he cuts his ego into a million pieces, and I still wouldn't count on it happening.
4)It would be good, but the first thing that comes to my mind when a WWF and WCW "anything" is discussed, whether it be a video game or a PPV event or what have you, is can the two sides put everything aside and work together? WWF will want their guys to win, WCW will want theirs. And realisitically speaking, it's not gonna happen. Ever.
5)They have discussed fighting one another after their respective contracts run out. Of course, it won't be a WWF and/or WCW sponsored event, but rather one that is charity-based. Who would win? It all depends on if it's a shoot or worked. And if it is worked, who is doing the booking. For the good of wrestling and its fan, a worked match would have to go to Austin, if let's say for non-arguement's sake, ECW was doing the booking.

I was just wondering if you guys ever think Rob Van Dam will ever come to the
WWF. He is perfect DX material. Also, has Taz ever wrestled in the WWF or WCW
Although there have been prior talks between RVD and the WWF, the chances of the WWF picking him up are slim. For starters, Van Dam is very loyal to ECW and his departure would hurt them considerably. Second, when RVD showed up on RAW a few years back, he apparently didn't get along with many of the wrestlers backstage (ie. The Kliq) and was said to be rather cocky and full of himself. Furthermore, the WWF isn't too keen on his smoking habits. As far as I know, Taz has only been in WWF, but that was as part of the aforementioned ECW-invades-WWF angle.

I got a few questions for ya(and your website rulz too)
1. Would Tatanka ever come back, and where the hell has he been, cuz he
was cool back in the day.
2. Why is Test being jobbed by the Mean Street Pussies so much, he is
a way better wrestler, but they should make Stepanie his valet to thering.
3. How come the WWF does not show dark matches on TV or something, maybe
on superstars, i dunno.
4. It seems WCW copies WWF on everything, i just wanted to say that WCW
sucks totally, and they have some great talent wasting away there.
5. Since Wrath's contract is up soon in WCW, is there any chance he
could come back to the WWF as the Adam Bomb gimmick??
Thanks, hope i can get some answers here!
1)Tatanka is currently working with The Harts in Stampede Wrestling. He is one of their biggest draws.
2)Where is Vince McMahon when you need him? Honestly, I don't know, probably either cause the WWF wants to hype up the Posse or they aren't too pleased with Test in some way or another. I dunno.
3)Dark matches are intended as a "treat" for the paying audience. It's a reward for fans who actually paid money to attend rather than catching RAW for free at home. If it was shown on TV, it wouldn't be called a dark match.
4)Amen. Their talent pool is incredible and some would argue too deep to run a successful promotion. There is only "x" number of on-air hours.
5)Wrath just recently re-signed an extension with WCW in either January or February. He is not expected back in the WWF until at least this contract runs out.
From:Dan
1.) Remember the Wrestlemania where Mike Tyson turned on Shawn Michaels? Do
you think Jesse would turn on Stone Cold to give H-H-H the title? In his
contract he says that he's due to get the strap soon. It all seems, possible
until you think of the relationship between Jesse and Vince.
2.) What do you think will happen with Kane and the Undertaker?
3.) Do you think H-H-H was screwing with the briefcase at KOTR? On Raw he
said " Hey Vince, I'm a team player"
4.) Why is the WWF changing the Godfather's in ring gimmick to a gothic papa
shango? The Godfather if much more popular with the fans then papa shango
ever was,and ever will be!!!
1)Doubt it. If Jesse screwed Steve, they would have to make an angle out of it and Ventura is only with the WWF for that one appearance. The situation with Tyson was different since Shawn was taking a leave of absence following the match.
2)Kane will go into Dentistry School after failing miserably at impersonating Diesel. Just kidding. I'm guessing they will end up feuding AGAIN later on this summer, when the WWF starts running out of main event matches AGAIN.
3)No, I don't think he was.
4)They aren't. It's one of those funny yet stupid FALSE rumors.
From:Yankee
Hey Rajah, or Kayfabe, or Grandpa, or whoever, i got a couple questions
1.) Right before Test started in the angle with Stephanie, who is nasty, he
had an angle with Tori. Why did they drop it so quickly and is it true they
were going out in real life?
2.) When she one the belt, Ivory aligned herself with Nicole Bass and left
D'Lo and Sexual Chocolate. Since Bass is gone, could she re-align with D'Lo.
And a question within a question, if she "belonged" to Henry, why'd she
spend all her time with D'Lo?
3.) Now this isn't a question as much it is an opinion. Many people/critics
rip the WWF for the sexual content, but it only reaches extremes
occasionally, a.e. mark henry's, um, president impersenation and debra
occasionally unbuttoning her jacket, which is like the Nitro Girls. And
that's kist anpit as nad as Baywatch or something, which is on at 4 in the
afternoon where i live, and Raw is on at 9, where most kids won't be up.Thanks
1)I wouldn't really call it an angle since it was only for a couple of appearances. I'm guessing the WWF was just testing (no pun intended) the crowd reaction and judging my the outcome, probably weren't too pleased with it. They are NOT going out.
2)Possibly, but only if Mark and D'Lo go up against a tag team that has another lady in their corner. See if you can figure out who I MAY be talking about...As for why she spent time with D'Lo, Henry was recovering from knee surgery and wasn't available. They couldn't just sideline Ivory too.
3)I agree. I'm of the belief, if find it too "adult" for your liking, then for God's sake, don't watch! And while I'm at it, don't let your kids watch either.
From:Diggerie
Do you think that the WWF will blow Chris Jericho's gimmick like they did
with Steven Regal The Real Mans Man, and Beaver Cleavage, Because i saw what
you wrote in a column of Chris Jericho Becomin the wrestler for the next
millineum, do you think that the WWF could work this gimmick??
Thanx.
No, for one reason. Unlike the other two, Jericho has the talent, and mic skills to overcome a bad gimmick. As for the Millenium countdown, I don't think it points towards a gimmick for Jericho, but rather just marks the RAW that he will debut.
From:Dan Man
great site!
I was wondering, who is dave meltzer, and why is his information so trust worthy.
Thanks
I don't know him personally, but he's a man who has "connections" to all three major promotions. Much of the information leaked onto the internet comes from Meltzer. Just ask MiCasa. That wasn't supposed to be a cheapshot, but it will probably come out sounding like one. Oh well.
From:Csy
1)How come Paul Bearer hardly gets any mic time in the Coporate Ministry because
I feel he has great mic skills and he can really hype up some angles just like
he did with The Undertaker and Kane.
2)Back in the early 1990's the Undertaker used to look more scary than he looks
now. Do you think the WWF will ever give him that scary look that he hadbefore.
3)When do you think the person behind GTV will be revealed. I think its Howard
Finkel because he knew where X-Pac and Road Dog was when the police were looking
for them.
1)I agree. Bearer definitely could add more intrigue into this angle, especially with Kane now being tossed in. Perhaps, it's something we should expect in the next few weeks.
2)Probably not.
3)I'm guessing at the end of summer. The only thing I am hoping for is that they don't just end up dropping it or something. I have nightmares about that every night. Kidding, of course...

Kayabe/Grandpa congrats on the new mailbag job! I have a couple of where are they now questions.
1- What ever happened to Greg "the hammer" Valentine? I saw a match of his on a video and wondered what happend to him?
2- The Big Bossman's old manager "Slick"?
The second question my just be me trying to "stir the pot" (he has gone stir crazy) Well great page keep up the good work...
1)Greg Valentine is competing in the Bad Boys Of Wrestling (BBOW) federation. To visit click here
2)Slick has retired from pro wrestling and is now a practicing reverend as he always has been.

Can you please explain this whole "fake diesel" and "fake razor ramon" thing
I keep hearing about. When were there "fakes", and were they fake off screan
only (as in, did the WWF try to pass them by as the real thing), or was them
being a fake part of the angle and storyline?
Here's a quick run-down of events:
-Scott Hall and Kevin Nash (the real Razor and Diesel) sign with WCW.
-The WWF knows it but the wrestling fans do not (not much internet influence back then).
-WCW hypes that two wrestlers from the "other" promotion will be showing face on THEIR TV and coin them the "Outsiders" for obvious reasons.
-When Hall and Nash finally do show up, everyone thinks that they are still WWF-employed but are just on NITRO. Not good. The WWF had to release a statement on air saying that Hall and Nash were no longer employed by WWF.
-So the next week, Jim Ross says that Razor and Diesel will be back on RAW and everyone gets excited, thinking that they are coming back, etc. etc.
-JR then introduces two look-a-likes and "fakes" that are dressed go by the names of "Razor Ramon" and "Diesel". Of course, they are not the real guys and the angle flopped miserably. The WWF started a mini JR vs. Vince angle out of this, but that too didn't do too well and was dropped. The Fake Diesel for those that are interested was none other than the man currently playing Kane.

First off, Grandpa and Kayfabe, you guys rock. I've asked this question before, but I sent it in long before the mailbag was reopened, so I'll try it again..... what happened to Nailz? I heard that he sued the wwf for sexual harrasment, do you have any info on that? If you don't know anything, could you send me a personal email letting me know, so that I at least know that my question got there? Thanks a lot, keep up the good work!
All I know on this matter is that Nailz did indeed take the WWF to court by specifying that Vince McMahon himself was sexually harassing him. However, I believe the courts dismissed the case as being false. Nailz also briefly appeared in WCW about a year ago. He has also been working the Indy's. For more info, check out the Nailz Website click here.

Hey Rajah. Great site and all...here's a quick question...
1. Do you think there is any chance the WWF will create a lightweight
division with Taka and some of the wrestlers on Superastros? I really
think this is an untapped market and they could really benifit from
it...although many of the Superastros guys are a little weak on the
personality side...
2. DO you think Vinnie Mac is really going to 'leave' the WWF after the
match at fully loaded (by that I mean retire) or do you think he will
just continue behind the scenes and let his son function as the McMahon
heel? (I hope not, 'cause SHane hardly holds a candle to some of the
'looks of shock' that vinnie mac gives!)
Well, keep up the good work!
1)Yeah, exactly. The talent is there, but there is no real strength in the mic skills department that will attract the fans for this division. However, with The Brood splitting up and Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor as well as The Hardy Boyz all ready and willing, the division may re-form eventually.
2)No, he won't leave. He might stay off TV for a bit, but I think he will gradually return. Vinnie is just too damn good for the WWF to really leave on any sort of permanent basis.
From:TMitch
Hey Grandpa and Kayfabe you guys are doing a great job with the mailbag, I have a couple questions for you.
1. I have heard rumors that Scott Hall and Kevin Nash want out of WCW, but
WCW is not letting them go free. I heard from somewhere that X-Pac was
quoted as saying that. Is it true?
2. Why was Sean Waltman (X-Pac) fired from WCW?
3. Around the time when Ric Flair was in the WWF, Mr. Perfect was his
manager. I remember he was a manager for quite a while. Why wasn't Curt
Henning wrestling at that time? Was he injured or something?
4. Also any possibility of seeing "Iron" Mike Tyson in the WWF in the near
future?Thank you and keep up the good work.
What about me? Remember good ol' Raj? Just joking, Kayfabe and Grandpa are definitely doing a helluva job.
1)I think that rumors is generally speaking, false. It is more wishful thinking on the part of WWF enthusiasts who want Hall and Nash back. I could see Scott wanting out, but personally, I think Kevin is happy in WCW. Hell, he gets to book his own matches and gets paid more than he would in WWF.
2)Waltman was fired because of an injury, which was taking an unusually long time to heal. He was off TV for a very long period of time, and Bischoff fired him in the spring of 1998.
3)Yes, he was injured during that time.
4)I would say no. I believe since Tyson is in limbo with the boxing councils, it prevents him from appearing in the WWF. Furthermore, he would demand A LOT of money from the WWF for any sort of definite contract.
From:Big Dawg
I appreciate you answering my last e-mail. I have another for you, and
I do hope it reaches your bag. I know that right now WWF is on top, and
I believe it is because they have cut loose a little, and have bookers
that pay attention to crowd response to character. They know what isn't
working and get rid of it( i.e. Harry Beaver Cleavage) I have found out
(RUMOR) that WCW is going to stop using NASH, HOGAN, and FLAIR for
booking, and bring in some ringers to bring the firepower back to Nitro.
Knowing this has me in a delimma. I am a wrestler, and will soon be
making a move to one of the BIG TWO. If all things were equal, who would
you wrestle for and why? Please post in your bag. I need as many outside
opinions as possible, even though I know the final decision will be
mine. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Although my opinion is probably biased since I have watched WWF all my life and watched maybe bits and pieces of 3 NITROs, I would have to say the WWF based on the fact that they usually utilize their talents as much as is possible. WCW seems to sign every guy or gal they can and then run into problems finding angles for them. That's why I'd say WWF.
From:Kyle
Hey Raj! Great site. Anyways I was wondering why the WWF doesn't do any
outdoor shows? I thought you might know? Please put this on the website
I don't know, but I'm guessing outdoor arenas usually seat tens of thousands of people and it would probably be troublesome filling all the seats. I guess you can also argue that they would have to take the weather into account when scheduling their events. What happens if it rains?
From:KDogg
Hey, Rajah, great site, it blows out all of the other WWF sites. But anyway,
I was wondering, it says on WWF.com that a wrestler got engaged to another
wrestlers sister. I was wondering who they are?
Edge has gotten engaged to Val Venis' sister.
From:LucianoIII
Who is the tag team Supply and Demand?
Val Venis and The Godfather. Venis=Demand, Godfather=Supply. Get it?
If your question didn't make it here, one of two things is likely up. I either did not know the answer or have not gotten to your email yet. Also, it may be
that your question has an answer which is found elsewhere on the page. The next Mailbag will go up sometime next week. Later.
