WWE Files To Trademark Name Of WWE SmackDown Tag Team

Last April 11th, WWE filed to trademark the “Los Lotharios” name with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for entertainment services. Los Lotharios is a tag team on the WWE Friday Night SmackDown roster made up of Angel and Humberto. Los Lotharios started out as a tag team on the Monday Night RAW brand before they were drafted to the blue brand as part of the 2021 WWE Draft.

Angel and Humberto made their WWE SmackDown debut as Los Lotharios on the November 5, 2021 episode of the show, when they defeated former WWE Star Cesaro and Mansoor in Tag Team action. On the January 14 episode of WWE SmackDown, Angel and Humberto competed in a Fatal 4-Way Matchup for a chance to become the new #1 contenders to the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but were unsuccessful. They recently took on WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet in a Triple Threat Match, but came up short.
